The purpose of this study is to examine modern man, George Bowling’s anxiety and nostalgia in George Orwell’s Coming Up for Air. Above all, the study accepts Ulrich Beck’s discussion that modern society is a risk society, and reveals the most universal mental state in the risk society and liquid modernity is ‘anxiety.’ Second, it examines the definition of nostalgia that Janelle Wilson presented, and Bowling’s nostalgia based on the definition. Third, it shows Bowling’s recognition of past by visiting Lower Binfield, and searches his conflict between past and present. Fourth, it examines Bowling’s awareness that the past for which he tried to look disappeared and the past is occupied by the present. The study comes to the conclusion that Bowling’s search for past turns out to be a failure, but, on the contrary, Bowling’s nostalgia, yearn for his past plays a role as a mechanism of curing his disturbing feeling.

In this paper, deal with structural design under low wind speed conditions calculated by computational fluid dynamics for a small blade that is utilized in dual rotor wind turbine system. For this purpose, the authors checked the turbine system condition such as airfoil camber, number of blade, incidence angle to have effect on system output power. Through the analysis of the flow pattern around blade, the suggested blade condition and incidence angle was effective to improve under low wind speed. and verification of Dual Blade shapes using the computational fluid dynamics software

The independently measured secondary batteries were connected in parallel and the phase response was measured using an inductor shunt. Because the inductor shunt allows the internal resistance of the secondary battery to be measured by the phase delay response, the phase response according to the decrease in the internal resistance of the parallel bound secondary battery was simulated and compared through measurement experiments. The maximum phase response frequency was explored using an inductor shunt of 33(μH), and the phase response was measured by connecting three lead-acid batteries with a phase delay response of about 1.8° at each frequency in parallel. The simulation result showed a response of 1.42°, which is smaller than that of each secondary battery, and in the secondary battery measurement experiment, a phase response of 1.91° reflecting the connection resistance effect of the secondary battery could be The results show that secondary batteries connected in parallel can be diagnosed by a phase response to the inductor shunt as the internal resistance decreases.
