        The Effect of University-Industry Cooperation on Hotel Business Ecosystem

        Since Moor first mentioned the concept of a business ecosystem, interest in the topic has grown. Many scholars have addressed the idea that it is more beneficial to operate a company within the business ecosystem than to operate on their own. University-industry cooperation (UIC) is a way of utilizing the network of the business ecosystem, helping companies develop technology and R&D. This study explores how UIC affects the business ecosystem of the hotel industry in Korea. It explores an emic perspective via in-depth interviews with both university professors and hotel employees who experienced UIC. A total of 19 people was interviewed, with the data obtained from the interviews transcribed and used for analysis. Study findings indicate that there was limited UIC taking place in the hotel industry. The types of UIC practiced have been very limited to the internship system. Study findings also showed a step-wise mechanism for how an internship influences the hotel business ecosystem. To be specific, short-term achievements from the internship system have little influence on the hotel business ecosystem. Based on study findings, we suggest useful management implications for how universities and hotels could consider the ways in which the internship system can affect the hotel business ecosystem.

        宋代 昭君出塞의 새로운 해석 ― 王安石의 <明妃曲> 2수를 중심으로

        The fragmentary historical records of Wang Zhaojun do not elaborate on her substance. However, with literary imagination, we processed her as a tragic figure who married into the Xiongnu under the name of Hwachin during the Han Dynasty. Unlike the historical facts, 'Zhaojun Chusai’ has been transformed into sadness and resentment according to the demands of the times. However, Wang Anshi no longer tragically sang the fate of Wang Zhaojun. If fate is set, it is the principle of life that the courage and wisdom to pioneer the destiny are also given, so Wang Anshi hope she will live firmly in the Xiongnu and be happy since meeting someone who understands her. “意態由來畫不成”, “人生失意無南北” and “人生樂在相知心”. These three verses are the themes that Wang Anshi wanted to talk about in <MingFei Qu>. This verse reveals the features of the Song poem, which expresses the philosophies that he felt while looking at life, in poetry. Wang Anshi satirized the reality by expressing his reality, his feelings and thoughts through ‘Zhaojun Chusai’, the story from a thousand years ago, and reversed the existing concepts pleasantly. Ou Yangxiu, Mei Yaochen, Sima Guang, Zeng Gong and Liu Chang, who lived in the same era, also agreed with Wang Anshi’s adaptation and expressed their thoughts through response poetries. Through this, we can infer how poets during the Northern Song period thought about 'Zhaojun Chusai’. They criticized the ruler for causing 'Zhaojun Chusai’ and lamented he was so incompetent that he couldn’t even identify what was happening in the concubines before his very eyes, evaluating that Mao Yanshou's death was in vain. They also consoled Wang Zhaojun, saying that where we live is not important if we meet someone who understands us, and the ministers of the Han Dynasty, who reduced her to a tool for Hwachin, totally disappeared, but Wang Zhaojun‘s story is still told. What they wanted to talk about by quoting 'Zhaojun Chusai’ was the reality of the Northern Song period, and their thoughts and feelings living in reality. In the Southern Song period, several negative evaluations of "MingFei Qu" came out in terms of moral and political standards, but it is a wrong interpretation and criticism according to the political situation at the time. In "MingFei Qu", Wang Anshi showed various images of Wang Zhaojun through an unprecedented adaptation based on his philosophy of life. Through a new interpretation of the 'Zhaojun Chusai’, he led the old genre with resentment and sadness to a new state.

        관광분야 현장 실습생과 실습처 간의 지속가능성에 대한 탐색적 연구

        The purpose of study is to discover the causes of problems occurring between practicum insiders (students who get trained and agencies that provide training) and to explore the sustainability of the practicum system in the tourism field. This study applied the social exchange theory to understand social sustainability, and collected data by conducting in-depth interviews from a phenomenological perspective. The study participants were 10 students who have experienced practicum and 15 employees who are experienced in working with the trainees. The results illustrated that there were five benefits for students and four benefits for companies.         박테리오신을 분비하는 비병원성 돌연변이주에 의한 무름병 방제 효과

        Pectobacterium carotovorum subsp. carotovorum은 채소 무름병의 원인균이다. 박테리오신인 carocin D는 Pectobacterium carotovorum subsp. Carotovorum Pcc21 균주가 생산한다. Pcc21 균주의 비병원성인 돌연변이주를 선발하기 위해 Tn5을 이용하여 무작위적 삽입 돌연변이체들을 대상으로병원성 검사를 하였다. 실험 결과 선발된 P. carotovorum subsp. carotovorum Pcc21-M15과 carocin D 유전자의 형질전환체인 E. coli(pRG3431)은 비병원성인 동시에 carocin D를 생산하여 무름병균인 P. carotovorum subsp. carotovorum Pcc3의 생장을 억제함을 확인하였다. Pcc21-M15와 E. coli (pRG3431)를 무름병균인 P. carotovorum subsp. carotovorum Pcc3과 함께 미네랄 오일법으로 상추에 처리한 결과 Pcc3 균주를 단독 처리했을 경우에는 3일만에 90%가 무름병에 걸린 반면, Pcc21-M15와 E. coli(pRG3431)를 함께 처리한 경우는 6일 후에도 25%의 상추에서만 무름병 증상을 보였다. Pectobacterium carotovorum subsp. carotovorum causes soft rot disease in diverse plants. Carocin D is bacteriocin that is produced by Pectobacterium carotovorum subsp. carotovorum Pcc21 strain. Nonpathogenic mutant P. carotovorum subsp. carotovorum Pcc21-M15 strain was obtained by mutagenesis with Tn5 insertion and screened pathogenesity. P. carotovorum subsp. carotovorum Pcc21-M15 and E. coli (pRG3431), carocin D gene-transformed E. coli, produce carocin D against P. carotovorum subsp. carotovorum Pcc3. Pathogenic P. carotovorum subsp. carotovorum Pcc3 and mixture with Pcc21-M15 or E. coli (pRG3431) were treated with lettuces. Pcc21-M15 and E. coli (pRG3431) effectively suppressed the development of soft-rot disease. While symptoms in 90% of Pcc3-treated lettuces were observed after 3 days, only 25% of Pcc3 and Pcc21-M15-treated lettuces were observed to be infected after 6 days. These results suggest that the nonpathogenic strain P. carotovorum subsp. carotovorum. Pcc21-M15 and E. coli (pRG3431) are effective to soft-rot disease suppression.

        사시가(四時歌)의 연원(淵源)과 범성대(范成大)<사시전원잡흥(四時田園雜興)>의 시간

        在韓國朝鮮時代, 士大夫文人愛寫 "四時歌", 這種"四時歌"的槪念也爲朝鮮文人所獨有。朝鮮文人根据這種槪念進一步評析中國詩詞, 可是他們偏偏都未提及范成大的<四時田완雜興>。范成大晩年所作的<四時田완雜興>組詩, 堪稱中國古代田완詩的集大成之作, 倂且也可以視爲一組完整的"四時歌"形式的大作。本文根据朝鮮時期所形成的"四時歌"類型來分析范成大<四時田완雜興>, 揭示其中蘊含的范成大所持的三種時間觀念:第一爲時間的生命力。范成大因爲長期患病, 所以能更深切地體會到時間對于他的生命意義。他歸隱的石湖庄완給他一股能恢復活力的勇氣, 故他在所有季節中格外重視生机勃勃,万物復소的春天。第二爲時間的現在性。他以現在性爲時間的實質, 特別笑注自己生活的此時此刻。他一邊崇拜天地倂親手種田, 一邊把田완的現在時間和生活形象描寫得非常親切逼眞。第三爲時間所聯系的現實和理想。在生活中他渴望仁政, 倂且認爲現在的時間就是能實現政治理想的一個核心因素。他一直苦悶于如何使理想和現實協調起來, 而如此思考的結果, 就被表現爲<四時田완雜興>之中詩人對田완生活的理想。<四時田완雜興>被描繪成爲一幅村老眼中的農家樂事圖, 而這村老眼中的田완就是찰根于現實生活, 能爲身心補充活力, 倂能實現仁義的一片范成大所夢想的地方。

        중국 중장년층의 한국 관광동기에 따른 관광지선택속성과 라이프스타일 차이분석

        Despite of various studies on Chinese tourists, there is a limited research focusing on elderly Chinese (mid-old aged cohort). Based on KTO’s market research(2011), Chinese mid-old aged cohort has strong spending power and eager to travel abroad. In order to attract them, it is necessary to understand their travel motivation, destination selection attributes, and lifestyle as a first step. In this respect, the aims of this study was to segment Chinese mid-old aged cohort tourists to Korea using tourist motivation and to determine whether there is a significant differences between destination selection attributes and lifestyle. On the basis of multi-step cluster analysis, four segment were found: culture and Knowledge expansion, routine avoidance/discovery, emotion conversion, self-actualization. Also, the result indicated that the differences between 4 Chinese mid-old aged cohorts are significative. It is revealed that there are differences between destination selection attributes and lifestyle by four segmented groups.

        대학생의 여가활동에 대한 여가만족과 자아존중감, 삶의 질 간의 관계 - 여가활동 참여주기를 고려한 비교분석 -

        Leisure activities play an important role in our lives. Leisure activities during the college years in particular can help students to develop their happiness, personal potential and self-realization skills, in addition to contributing to a successful college life. Accordingly, this research aims to present practical suggestions for understanding the importance of students’ leisure activities by examining the relationship among their leisure satisfaction, self-esteem and quality of life. This study also investigates whether the frequency of leisure participation influences students’ leisure satisfaction and influential factors (i.e., self-esteem, quality of life). The survey was conducted with college students attending universities in South Gyeongsangnam-do from March to April 2016, and 405 out of 420 questionnaires were used in the analysis. The analysis results of all university students showed that emotional and educational factors affected their self-esteem and quality of life. The frequency of leisure participation influenced leisure satisfaction, quality of life and self-esteem, aside from physical satisfaction. The results provide empirical proof that college students’ leisure activities influence their self-esteem and quality of life. In this context, the study emphasizes the need for institutions and colleges to develop and provide numerous leisure programs. 여가활동이 가지는 의미와 가치 그리고 다양한 순기능 등을 고려할 때, 여가활동은 우리의 삶에 있어 중요한 역할을 하고 그 이상의 영향력을 갖는다. 특히, 대학생 시기의 여가활동은 성공적인 대학생활을 이끌어내는 역할은 물론 개인의 잠재능력 개발이나 자아실현, 자신감, 행복감을 회복할 수 있도록 도움을 준다. 이에 본 연구에서는 대학생의 여가활동에 대한 여가만족과 자아존중감, 삶의 질 간의 관계를 살펴봄으로써 대학생의 여가활동에 대한 이해와 실질적인 제안과 방향성을 제시하고자 한다. 설문조사는 2016년 3월에서 4월에 걸쳐서 경상남도 지역의 대학에 재학중인 대학생들을 중심으로 진행하였으며, 전체 420명의 유효 표본 중 405부의 설문을 최종 분석에 사용하였다. 분석결과, 전체 405명 대학생의 여가만족과 자아존중감, 삶의 질 간의 관계에서는 정서적 만족과 자기실현 만족 요인만이 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 또한 여가활동의 참여빈도, 참여주기에 따라 여가만족과 자아존중감, 삶의 질에 미치는 영향력은 다르게 나타났으며, 신체적 만족을 제외한 모든 부분에 차이가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 이에 본 연구의 결과가 대학생의 여가활동이 그들의 자아존중감과 삶의 질에 영향을 미친다는 실증적인 자료로 활용되기를 기대하며, 더 나아가 관련 기관들과 대학들이 다양한 여가 프로그램들을 개발하고 제공해야 할 필요성에 대하여 강조하고자 한다.

        중국 유일의 여황제 武則天의 詩歌 연구 — 권력의 찬탈과 권위의 도전 사이에서

        In china, there were largest number of emperors in history. About 494 people have been named emperor in China, ranging from Qin Shi Huangdi to Emperor Puyi. Among them, Wu Zetian of Tang Dynasty is the only woman who became emperor. At the age of 14, Wu Zetian entered the palace as a royal concubine and ascended to the throne of the emperor. This was not the result of a opportunity that came by chance, but the result of a systematic step-up. In ancient China, where Confucian morality dominated, women’s status was very low and women’s rights did not exist at all. So she had to break through a huge wall to become an emperor. In a male-dominated society, women’s entry into society was completely impossible. But Wu Zetian absolutely broke the wall. She built her own world by confronting, overpowering, persuading men and cooperating with them in an era when only strong men changed the world as a hero. Wu Zetian challenged the masculine authority of the theocratic policy with 48 numbers of jiaomiao songs. Through Taizhong, Gaozhong, and the reign of Wu Zhou, she gave full pay to her political prowess, Wu Zetian wrote her success in poetry and ordered her ministers to write a poem in answer to her poetry. In her poems, Wu Zetian announced “The Emperor is not someone else, but me.”
