재미한인청소년의 부모애착, 종교적 문제대응방식, 그리고 자존감과의 관계

본 연구는 재미청소년의 부모애착, 종교적 대응방식, 그리고 자존감과의 관계를 관찰하며, 불안정 애착과 부정적인 종교적 대응방식의 관계에 있어서 자존감 매개변수 효과를 조사하였다. 12세부터 18세까지의 261명의 재미청소년들이 7개주의 15개 이민교회를 통하여 연구에 참여하였으며, 부모와의 애착관계, 종교적 대응방식태도들, 그리고 자존감을 측정하기 위한 설문지를 완성하였다. 상관관계분석을 통하여 부모애착, 종교적 대응방식, 그리고 자존감 각각의 변인들간의 의미 있는 연관성을 밝혀 주었다. 또한 위계적 회기분석을 이용하여 부정적 종교적 대응방식에 대한 아버지애착이 특별한 변수인지 조사하였다. 그 결과 불안정 어머니애착과 자존감을 통계적으로 통제한 후에, 불안정 아버지애착은 부정적인 종교적 문제대응방식에 있어서 유의미한 변인이 아니라는 것을 발견하였다. 수집된 정보를 다중회기분석을 통하여 불안정 애착과 부정적인 종교적 대응방식과의 관계에 있어서 자존감의 매개효과가 있음을 발견하였다. 한편, 재미 한인 청소년들의 부모애착과 부정적 종교적 대응방식에 있어서 청소년 성별의 조절효과를 측정하였으며, 종교적 대응방식에 있어서 어머니, 아버지 애착과 청소년 성별간의 특별한 관계성은 없었다. This study examined the relationship between insecure parental attachment, religious coping, and self-esteem with Korean-American adolescents, investigating the mediation effect of self-esteem on the relationship between insecure attachment and negative religious coping. Two hundred sixty-one Korean-American adolescents aged 12 to 18 from Korean immigrant churches in seven states completed the survey questionnaire to assess their attachment relationship with their mother and father, religious coping strategies, and self-esteem. Correlation analysis revealed significant correlations among the variables, and multiple regression analyses were used to detect the unique variance of father attachment in negative religious coping and the mediation effect of self-esteem on the relationship between insecure parental attachment and negative religious coping. A hierarchical regression analysis revealed that insecure father attachment did not account for a unique variance in negative religious coping after controlling for insecure mother attachment and self-esteem. Multiple regression analyses detected the mediation effect of self-esteem, but found no gender difference in the relationship between parental attachment and negative religious coping.

애착이론 관점에서의 아동 성폭력 피해자들을 위한 목회적 돌봄과 상담

본 연구는 아동성폭력 피해자들의 위기 대응기제들을 애착이론관점에서 이해하며 애착중심치료를 기초로 하여 피해자들을 위한 목회적 돌봄과 상담적용을 살펴보고자 하는 것이다. 아동청소년기 성폭력피해자들은 피해 당시에 직접적인 신체적 정신적 외상뿐만 아니라 차후에 그리고 지속적인 정신적 영적 문제, 또한 영적 애착관계의 문제들로 고통 받을 수 있다. 애착이론의 관점에서 피해자들은 자신과 타인에 대한 부정적 내적표상을 형성하게 될 가능성이 높으며, 부정적인 대응전략을 취할 가능성이 높다. 안정애착은 개인의 위기 대응 시 매우 긍정적인 역할을 하는 심리적 요소이다. 애착이론에 근거하여, 본 연구는 유아기부터 시작된 주 양육자와의 애착관계를 통하여 형성된 개인의 각각의 애착유형과 위기 상황 시 대응전략들을 비교하며 살펴봄으로 위기상황시 안정애착의 중요성을 살펴보고자 한다. 아동청소년시기의 성폭력 피해 경험은 영적인 부분에 있어서 하나님과의 애착관계에도 부정적 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 성폭력피해자들에게 있어서 애착중심치료의 접근방식은 영적변화에 있어서 중요하기에 연구자는 그 이유와 치료기법들에 대해서 논의하였으며, 그로인한 유익과 긍적적 결과들에 대해서도 살펴보았다. 또한 애착중심치료의 핵심적 요소인 상담자의 역할과 자세를 통하여 성폭력피해자들을 돌보고 상담해야 하는 목회자와 기독 상담가들의 대체애착대상자로서의 역할을 고찰하였다. The purpose of this study is to provide understanding of coping strategies of victims of childhood sexual abuse in terms of attachment theory and to examine the application of pastoral care and counseling application for victims of sexual abuse based on attachment- focused therapy. It is not surprising to see that victims of childhood sexual abuse experience not only instant immediate physical and psychological traumatic symptoms right after the incident but also struggle with ongoing psychological and spiritual troubles and future attachment relationship issues in the future. Regarding attachment theory, it is most likely that the victims develop a negative mental representation of themselves and others and negative coping strategies. Secure attachment serves a very positive psychological resource in coping with a crisis or trauma. Based on attachment theory, this study highlights the importance of secure attachment by comparing coping strategies of each attachment type that was formed in childhood by the a relationship with a primary care giver in childhood. Childhood sexual abuse experience may cause negative effects on the attachment with God. Since attachment- focused therapy approach is considered an important approach for spiritual transformation, the researcher discussed the reasons and examined interventions of attachmentfocused therapy and the positive outcomes. As the counselor’s roles and attitudes play an important role in attachment- focused therapy, this study considered a pastoral counselor to be a substitute attachment figure who can provide care and promote a secure attachment relationship with the victims of childhood sexual abuse.
