This study based upon theoretical contemplation has tried to analyze the composition of open school spaces of the elementary schools in Kwang-ju whose designs have been chosen by competition since 1990, and thereby to suggest both its problems and basic materials necessary for the construction of new type of school buildings. The results of this study are as follows: The school buildings are usually separated and arranged according to higher classes and lower classes, special classrooms and general classrooms, and classrooms and control offices. But there are usually pilots on the first floor, the other floors are connected directly and often there are arranged special rooms in connecting passages. School buildings, a gymnasium, and a play ground are common factors in every school. And there are small play grounds for lower class students or kindergarteners who have some difficulty in using play grounds, and these spaces are separated and arranged for higher class students, lower class students, and kindergarteners each. In many schools, the size of a unit classroom is the standard size of 67.5㎡. But it seems that a size of each unit classroom must be enlarged to utilize small spaces and to provide some spaces for open education.

This is a basic research for the suggestion of reasonable methods of an estimation research of views. For this purpose, many foreign and domestic researches related to view estimation have been studied, and thereby, by noting periodical trends, approach methods, individual researchers' ways, experiment and variables, common methods of measurements and analyzation have come to be arranged. And also based upon this, a frame of view estimation method has been structured.
한국고전종합DB의 『東湖問答』 국역 검토-효과적인 ‘번역 현대화사업’에 대한 제언-

Yi I’s Questions and Answers at the Eastern Lake were translated and annotated by the members of Committee for the Advancement of Korean National Culture in 1966. Further, this translation was uploaded to the Han’guk kojŏn chong’hap DB(Database). Since it is available online, it has become one of the most popular translations. Unfortunately, however, the online version still carries the errors and problems presented by the book translation. It is an urgent task to correct them as soon as possible because they are exposed to people around the world even now. This paper is written out of a sense of the urgency and necessity of the project. The errors are corrected and the problems are answered. Furthermore, a suggestion is proposed for the revision project in the future. 李珥의 東湖問答 은 1966년에 민족문화추진회(현 한국고전번역원)의 번역위원들에 의해 譯註되어 한국고전종합DB에 탑재되었다. 이 번역문은 이제 온라인상에서 많은 사람들이 참고하고 인용하는 번역문이 되었다. 그러나 안타깝게도 그 번역문에는 여러 오류 및 미흡한 점들이 그대로 방치되어 있다. 다른 번역본들과는 달리 한국고전종합DB의 번역문은 온라인상에 지금도 그대로 노출되어 전 세계 어디서든 열람되고 있기에 가능하면 빨리 교정될 필요가 있다. 필자는 이런 필요성을 절감하고 본고에서 한국고전종합DB의 東湖問答 의 원문과 번역문을 교정하여 정리하였고, 나아가 東湖問答 뿐만 아니라 개정 작업이 필요한 한국의 한문 고전에 대해서도 온라인을 통한 개정 작업 방식을 제안하였다.

The purpose of this translation is to introduce the letters exchanged between Yi I and his friend Song Ikp’il concerning the Kyŏngmong yogyŏl 擊蒙要訣 (Essential instructions on rectifying folly), thereby identifying the role Song Ikp’il played in the making of this text. Most previous translators and researchers have been unaware that the Kyŏngmong yogyŏl circulated in a draft version that Yi I revised after intensive review by his close friend Song Ikp’il. This fact is evidenced by letters exchanged between the two in which they discuss the work. I provide translations of these letters to inform readers of the issues raised in the letters and call attention to the differences between the first draft and the published work.
