The purpose of this paper is to examine the editions of ‘Jeokcheonsu’, the best Myoungri Classic in name and reality, that was featuring dozens of annotations and interpretations from the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China, and modern times. The original author of ‘Jeokcheonsu’ was Gyeongdo of the Song Dynasty, firstly annotated by Yugi of the late Yuan Dynasty to Early Ming Dynasty, and Im Cheolcho of the Qing Dynasty annotated again. However, several observations in the original text suggest that the author's period of writing is postulated since the middle of the Ming Dynasty, and if the book is not likely to belong to the Song Dynasty, the author is also unlikely to be Gyeongdo of the Song Dynasty. Besides, if you look at the statements of Jin Soam and Jeong Jiwoon, who published the early editions of ‘Jeokcheonsu’, there are many negative opinions about the usual author recognition. In this study, we conducted a comparative analysis of the four existing editions of ‘Jeokcheonsu’, ‘Jeokcheonsu-Jibyo’ edited and published by Jin Soam, ‘Myeongri Suji Jeokcheonsu’ revised by Jeong Jiwoon, ‘Jeokcheonsu-Cheonmi’ annotated by Im Cheolcho, and ’Jeokcheonsu-Jingui’ edited and published by Seo Rako. It is hoped that this study will help us understand ‘Jeokcheonsu’ more deeply and help us with related research, such as comparative studies of annotations in the future.

The purpose of this paper is to find out the origin and significance of Sipgan-Sipiji that Yinyang and five elements are assigned. By looking at the hypotheses that Sipgan-Sipiji may have originated from the ancient Chinese calendar, the contents of the materials recorded in the classical literature, and the records left in the Oracle bone script, we wanted to explore the starting point of Sipgan-Sipiji in Eastern humanities and social sciences that could never be overlooked. Through the literature review of Sipgan-Sipiji, the researcher believes that this code system was completed by Hwangje and his teacher Daeyo, who led paternal clan society in the latter part of the Chinese Neolithic Age, because of supporting the use of the October calendar associated with Sipgan, and because Sipgan in the Oracle bone script seems to keep the sacredness and at the same time to be used to document the time. I believe that this consideration of Sipgan-Sipiji will be helpful for future related research in the process of underlying the research effort of Myeongri Science, such as the security of the logic of the theoretical framework for the theory system and the proof through statistical social science techniques.
옻나무 플라보노이드가 수컷 백서의 성행동에 미치는 영향

Rhus verniciflua Stokes (RVS) has been used as a food supplement and a traditional herbal medicine for a men's sexual enhancement. In this study, we prepared a flavonoid fraction (RWE) from a hot water extract of RVS and its influence on sexual behavior was studied in male rats which were orally administered varying doses of RWE for 2 weeks. All doeses of RWE stimulated sexual behavior in male rats such as reducing mounting latency and enhancing mount frequencies. However, intermission numbers were not changed and none of group can observe the ejaculation during behavioral testing time 5 min. Testosterone levels were increased about 0~53% and 92~164% by the treatment of RWE for 1 and 2 weeks, respectively. However, estrogen levels in male rats teded to decrease in a dose dependent manner of RWE. At the dose of RWE 200㎎/㎏, estrogen level was reduced to 77.5% and 70.3% of control after 1 and 2 weeks treatment. These findings suggest that the Rhus flavonoid fraction can stimulate the androgen-dependent male sexual behavior and it can applied to the material of functional food for enhancing the sexual function.

This paper proposes an adaptive Fourier analysis algorithm using VSS-SA robust against impulsive noise along with an efficient reset method. Specifically, for the adopted reset method in the proposed algorithm, the error variance estimates obtained for the step-size update are reused to set the control variable without employing additional variables. Computer simulation results show that the proposed algorithm requiring lower computational complexity yields the same robust convergence performance for adaptive Fourier analysis as the conventional algorithm.

Rhus verniciflua Stokes (RVS) has been used as a food supplement and a traditional herbal medicine. In this study, we prepared various flavonoid fractions (RS, RW1, RW2 and RWE) from a hot water extract of RVS and their influence on male reproductive organs and spermatogenesis were studied in rats which were orally administered 200 ㎎/㎏ of them for 8 weeks. All experimental groups did not show any significant changes in body weight and blood clinical chemistry for liver function. Plasma testosterone level was elevated about 3.7, 5.2 and 6.3 folds in RW1, RW2 and RWE groups, respectively. The weights of testes and epididymides tended to increase slightly without the statistical significance in RW2 and RWE. The spermatozoon motility and epididymal sperm concentration were significantly increased (P < 0.05) in RWE and RW1, respectively, when compared to the control group. There was no significant difference in histology and apparent shape of testes and epididymides among the control and the experimental groups. Collectively, RWE showed effectively the elevation of plasma testosterone level, spermatozoon motility and the epididymal sperm concentration without the significant increase of testis and epididymides weights. When the component HPLC profile among the flavonoids fractions of RVS was compared, the ratio of components were only different. These findings suggest that the Rhus flavonoid fraction, particularly RWE, can stimulate the androgen-dependent male sexual function and it can be applied to the material of functional food for enhancing the sexual function.
