This study investigated the quality characteristics of baked rice cake added with maltitol syrup. The hardness, adhesiveness, cohesiveness, gumminess, and chewiness of baked rice cake significantly decreased (P<0.05) according to the level of added maltitol syrup. Hunter"s color values of baked rice cake did not differ significantly according to the level of added maltitol syrup. Sensory evaluation indicated that appearance, moistness, chewiness, hardness, and overall acceptance of baked rice cake prepared with added maltitol syrup were improved compared to those of baked control rice cake. Hunter"s color values and texture properties of baked rice cake added with 10% maltitol syrup were compared with those of baked control rice cake during storage at room temperature for 3 days. Hunter"s color L values of baked rice cake decreased during storage, whereas a and b values increased. The rate of hardness increase in baked rice cake with maltitol syrup was lower than that in baked control rice cake during storage. The Avrami exponents (n) of baked control rice cake and baked rice cake added with 10% maltitol were 2.418 and 2.098, respectively. The time constants (1/k) of the former and latter were 43.860 and 60.976, respectively. Overall, addition of 10% maltitol syrup improved the texture, sensory properties, and retarding retrogradation of baked rice cake.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of aerobic exercise and supplementation of different glycemic index values of carbohydrate on the body composition including fat mass(FM), percent fat(%fat), body mass index(BMI), and waist-hip-ratio (WHR), health-related physical fitness including back strength, sit-up, trunk flexion, and Harvard step test, and metabolic indices including leptin, blood glucose, and insulin and bone mineral density in young female adults. 22 young female adults were participated in this study and classified as a two groups by High glycemic index group(HGI, n=12), and low glycemic index group(LGI, n=10). They performed aerobic walking programs on treadmill for 8 weeks. Health-related physical fitness was determined by measuring back strength, sit-up, trunk flexion and Harvard step test, and body composition was measured by Bioelectric Impedance Analysis(BIA). Blood leptin, blood glucose, blood insulin were measured before and 8 weeks of the program treatment. There was a significant difference on bone mineral density but there were no significant differences on body composition, health-related physical fitness, and metabolic indices between two groups. Blood leptin was significantly associated with flexibility(r=-0.37), FM(r=0.56), % fat(r=0.44), LBM(r=0.41), WHR(r=0.38), BMI(r=0.39), blood glucose(r=0.35), and insulin(r=0.30). In conclusion, aerobic exercise program and supplementation of different GI carbohydrate for 8 weeks affect on bone mineral density but don't affect on health-related physical fitness, metabolic indices in young females. Leptin significantly associated with flexibility, fat mass, percent fat, LBM, WHR, BMI, blood glucose, and insulin in young females.
방사선 안전관리 교육 이수 여부가 치과 방사선 안전관리에 대한 지식, 태도, 행위에 미치는 영향

Objectives: The goal of this study is to understand the knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of dental radiation safety management before and after radiation safety management education. Methods: From May 6 to September 20, 2021, a questionnaire was distributed to dental hygienists who are currently performing radiography work. Results: Dental hygienists with less than five years of experience who completed radiation safety management training had greater knowledge, and better attitudes, and behavior levels than dental hygienists with more than six years of experience who had not completed radiation safety management. Conclusions: Customized educational programs should be provided via self-education or maintenance education at dental clinics for dental hygienists who have not already completed them.

Family cord blood banking are comprised of diverse weights of at least 40g to more than 200g. In this study, we analyzed CBC parameters of the CB to establish CBC reference values according to weight of large-scale family cord blood. We examined using cord blood divided into three groups based on difference of cord blood weight. The results, we could not assort the reference intervals of each group because each group did not have differences of differential count of WBC and platelets. Thus, we set up the reference intervals based on analysis of three groups data. Whereas hemoglobin (Hb) and white blood cell (WBC) set up in accordance with differences of cord blood weight. The reference intervals of CBC according to weight is as in the following. Group of 40-99g: Hb, 6.8-1 2.3g/dL; WBC, 4.0-14.6xl03ItLL Group of 100-139g : Hb, 9.6-13.9g/dL WBC, S.3-17.0x10(3)/uL. Group of more than 140g : Hb 10.O-14.9g/dL; WBC 6.1-18.7x10(3)/uL. Differential count of WBC (neutrophils, 32.0- 71.1 %; lymphocytes, 18.3-58.6%; monocytes, 3.9-10.5%; eosinophils, 1.0-6.7%; basophils, 0.4-1.9 %); platelet, 91.3-272.1x10(3)/uL. We suggest that the established CBC reference values from this study will be useful as basic data for CBC interpretation of CB in the family cord blood bank are comprised of diverse weights.
미술치료사의 직무스트레스와 소진의 관계에서 자아탄력성의 매개효과와 사회적 지지의 조절된 매개효과

본 연구는 미술치료사의 직무스트레스, 자아탄력성, 사회적 지지, 소진의 구조적 관계에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 선행연구를 바탕으로 직무스트레스를 독립변인, 자아탄력성을 매개변인, 사회적 지지를 조절변인, 소진을 종속변인으로 하여 연구모형을 설정하고 그 관계와 효과를 검증하였다. 이를 위해 미술치료사를 대상으로 300부의 설문지를 배포하여 최종 233부를 실증분석에 이용하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 개인 환경적 요인(학력, 경력, 치료시간, 시간 당 소득, 슈퍼비전 횟수) 중 경력만이 유의한 상관을 보였다. 둘째, 직무스트레스와 소진간의 관계는 자아탄력성에 의해 부분 매개되는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 사회적 지지는 자아탄력성과 소진의 관계에서 조절효과를 나타냈다. 따라서 직무스트레스가 소진에 영향을 미치는 경로에서 자아탄력성이 이를 매개하며, 이러한 매개효과가 사회적 지지의 수준에 따라서 달라지는 것으로 나타나 조절된 매개효과가 확인되었다. The purpose of this study is to investigate the structural relationship among job stress, ego-resilience, social support, and burnout of art therapists. This study verified the relationship and the effect by setting a research model with job stress as independent variable, ego-resilience as mediator variable, social support as control variable, and burnout as dependent variable based on the previous studies. In order to do this study, 300 questionnaires were distributed to art therapists and the 233 questionnaires were used finally for empirical analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, only career showed significant correlation among personal environmental factors (education, career, treatment time, income per hour, number of supervision). Second, the relationship between job stress and burnout was partially mediated by ego-resilience. Third, social support showed a regulation effect on the relationship between ego-resilience and burnout. Thus, ego-resilience showed a mediation effect in the path that job stress affects burnout, and this mediation effect varies with the level of social support. So the moderated mediation effect was confirmed.

Background: Umbilical cord blood(UCB) has successfully used for transplantation to treat wide variety of disorders. Herein, we describe the experience generated during this period(November 2000-December 2011) in a single public cord blood bank in Korea. Method: Good manufacturing practice and standard operating procedures were used to address donor selection as well as UCB collection, processing, cryopreservation and release. Total nucleated cells (TNCs), cellular viability, CD34+ cells were determined, and infectious diseases screening test, sterility test, and HLA typing for UCB units were done. Results: 8,434 UCB units were cryopreserved in 11 years. The volume of UCB units was 102.2±20.2ml. The number of TNCs after processing was 8.16±2.62x108.O.28±0.16% of the TNCs were CD34+ cells. Based mainly in HLA and nucleated cell content, 419 UCB units were released for transplantation. Conclusion: A public UCB bank was successfully established in Korea; collection and processing of UCB units should be optimized in order to gain maximum volume and cell count.

The prevalence and mortality rate of cardiovascular disease continue to increase despite the development of new drugs and treatments. Stem cell therapy is a promising strategy to repair and/or regenerate damaged cardiac tissue. Cardiac progenitor cells may be stronger candidates than other stem cells for cardiac cell therapy. Cardiac progenitor cells (CPCs) residing in the heart (also referred to as cardiosphere-derived cells (CDCs) exert a therapeutic potential in repairing heart damage. Numerous studies have identified candidate CPC cell surface markers, including c-kit, stem cell antigen 1 (Sca1), and platelet-derived growth factor receptor α (PDGFRα). CPCs are capable of differentiating into multiple mature cardiac cell types, including cardiomyocytes (CM), smooth muscle cells (SMC), and endothelial cells (EC). Owing to their unique pluripotency, various pre-clinical and clinical studies are being conducted using cardiac progenitor cells to regenerate damaged heart tissues. However, poor stem cell survival and low engraftment efficiency underlie significant reductions in therapeutic efficacy. To overcome current limitations that reduce stem cell therapeutic efficacy, many methods have been implemented that aim to improve stem cell survival and engraftment. Recently, stem cell priming and tissue engineering technologies have been suggested to enhance stem cell therapeutic efficacy. It is possible to increase survival and engraftment of cardiac progenitor cells in injured cardiac tissue by cell priming and tissue engineering technologies before use. In this review, we provide an understanding of multiple therapeutic approaches including cell priming, scaffolds, tissue engineering, 3D printing techniques and clinical prospect for cardiovascular regeneration using patient-derived CPCs.
