In this paper, a sensor bias estimation method with pseudo measurement for asynchronous multisensor systems is proposed. The proposed bias estimation method separates the local filter which estimates the target state with biased measurements into two parts, one is bias part, the other is target state part. By using these two parts, the algorithm generates the pseudo bias measurement for estimating bias, and then eliminates bias of local track through bias compensation. Finally, the proposed algorithm is evaluated by comparing with the existing EXX method.

This paper presents a sensor bias estimation method with serial fusion for asynchronous multisensory systems. Serial fusion processes the sensor measurements in a first-come-first-serve basis and it plays an essential role in asynchronous fusion in practice. The proposed algorithm generates the bias measurements using fusion estimates and sensor measurements for bias estimation, and compensates the sensor biases in fusion tracks. A simulation study indicates that the proposed algorithm has the superior performance in bias estimation and accurate tracking.

Objectives: This study analyzed the contents of the research papers of Maekmundong-tang (MMDT). This study was conducted to help development of new clinical application and clinical studies for treating COPD with Oriental medicine. Materials and Methods: We inspected 26 theses and scrutinized their classification, objective diseases, study design, participants, methodological quality of clinical trial. Results: The following results were obtained in this study. 1. The studies of MMDT started in 1989 and have continuously increased, but it decreased recently. 2. The studies were mainly focused on experimental models rather than clinical studies. The topics of studies were mainly relaxation of airway contraction and anti-asthmatic effect. 3. MMDT was showed to have effects on chronic cough and asthma in these papers. Conclusion: MMDT is being used in respiratory disease. However, mechanism study should be conducted at experimental study and more clinical studies on the efficacy of MMDT for chronic respiratory disease are needed.

Radiofrequency myolysis is a method for preserving uterus and fecundity, and due to its more non-invasive and simpler operation, it is now frequently carried out to cure the uterine myomas. However, not long time has passed since this operation started, and little studies were conducted on its complications and side effects. Therefore, since the authors experienced the formation of an abscess in uterus after radiofrequency myolysis of uterine myoma, we hereby report the case.

A high power laser beam focused on a small area accelerates a thin material that flies and hits other target material in which a shock wave may be induced. This laser induced shock experimental method is more repeatable and cheaper but worse than other experimental method using gas gun or other apparatus. An optical system including a phase zone plate reduces the interference and also makes the focused-beam-intensity distribution uniform. We wrote a computer code that calculates light ray traces. Using the code we designed and fabricated an optical system including a phase zone plate and improved the laser-beam uniformity. We introduce preliminary experimental results of laser induced shock of the samples such as aluminum and other materials.
