융합교육(STEAM) 운영 현황 실태 조사 및 미래형 융합교육(STEAM)에 대한 인식 조사

In this study, the current status of implementation of STEAM education was investigated, and the perception of future STEAM education was investigated. A survey was conducted for teachers of the STEAM Teacher Research Group, and frequency analysis and word cloud keyword analysis were performed on the response data. The key findings are as follows. With respect to current status of implementation of STEAM education, first, the reason for implementing STEAM education was teachers' voluntary efforts and the necessity for future talent cultivation for all elementary, middle and high school teachers. Second, the difficulties in implementing STEAM education are heavy workload, adjustment of class hours, difficulties in securing budget, and lack of understanding of STEAM education for elementary schools. For middle schools, the answers are difficulties in curriculum restructuring and collaborating with other teachers, and the lack of program dissemination, while high schools responded to the lack of curriculum reorganization, administrators' understanding and educational expectations. Third, as a learning method for STEAM classes, the student participation type in which students directly solve problems was mainly used, and the student-led type emphasized in future STEAM education was already applied. Regarding the perception of future STEAM education, first, they were well aware of the main contents of future STEAM education, such as nurturing future talent, chemical fusion, student-led, real-life problem solving, and sympathized with the necessity. Second, difficulties related to the implementation of future STEAM education were teacher competency, teacher understanding, culture creation, and realistic burden. Finally, by synthesizing these opinions, the goals for revitalizing future STEAM education are summarized as strengthening teachers' professionalism, forming a consensus, and creating an environment inside and outside the school. As a specific way to achieve this, professional support for teachers, research and selfdevelopment, change of perception, administrative and financial support, and institutional support were suggested.

Purpose: This study examined the changes in the nutrient intake and the prevalences of obesity and metabolic syndrome according to the eating alone behavior in middle-aged men and women. Methods: The data from the 2013~2017 Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey were analyzed. A total of 7,728 adults (3,404 male, 4,324 female) aged 40 ~64 years old were included. The subjects were classified into three groups according to the number of times eating alone per day (0, 1~2, and 3 times/day). Dietary data were collected by a 1-day 24-h recall. The nutrient intakes were compared among the three groups. Survey logistic regression analyses were conducted to examine the association of the eating alone behavior with obesity and metabolic syndrome, adjusting for the related confounding variables. Results: In men, eating alone was associated significantly with a lower intake of potassium (p-for-trend=0.048) and lower intake of calories from protein (p-for-trend=0.04). In women, the proportion of subjects consuming energy less than 75% of the estimated energy requirement (p=0.001) and less than the estimated adequate requirement of riboflavin (p<0.001) differed significantly according to the eating alone behavior. The eating alone behavior was positively associated with an increased risk of developing metabolic syndrome (p-for-trend=0.033), increased blood pressure (p-for-trend<0.001), and increased waist circumference (p-for-trend=0.004). On the other hand, in women, however, the eating alone behavior was associated with a decreased risks of developing obesity (p-for-trend=0.02). No association was found between the eating alone behavior and the risk of metabolic syndrome in women. Conclusion: These results suggest that the eating alone behavior is a risk factor for the development of metabolic syndrome in middle-aged Korean men.

이 연구는 재택근무 가능도와 고용형태라는 일자리 특성이 실업과 저소득, 소득감소, 건강위험에 미치는 영향을 실증분석하고자 한다. 분석자료는 7~16차 한국복지패널로 재택근무 불가능한 일자리가 사회적 위험에 노출될 위험이 더 큰지 프로빗 모형을 이용해 분석하였다. 재택근무 불가능 직업이면 실업과 저소득 위험이 높아지는 반면, 소득감소와 건강위험에는 유의미한 영향을 미치지 못했다. 여성이 실업과 저임금을 경험하는 위험도 더 높다. 30세 미만의 청년과 65세 이상 노인이 실업과 저소득을 경험할 확률은 매우 높다. 하지만 30~65세에 비해 소득감소를 경험할 위험은 낮다. 고졸 대비 중졸이하의 학력자는 사회적 위험을 경험할 확률이 모든 위험에 대해 통계적으로 유의하게 높고, 전문대졸이상의 학력자는 낮다. 상용직에 비해 임시·일용직도 위험을 경험할 확률이 모든 위험에 대해 통계적으로 유의하게 높고, 자영자는 저소득, 소득감소, 건강위험은 높지만 실업위험은 낮다. 재택근무 불가능한 직업은 여성 비율은 높고 저소득·불안정하며 위계가 낮은 직업일 가능성이 높다.

Purpose: This study was performed to identify job competencies and needs for job education perceived by newcommunity health practitioners. Methods: This study used a qualitative research design. Eight new communityhealth practitioners participated in this study. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed usingcontent analysis. Results: Five job competencies were identified in this study, including primary care, public healthmanagement, interpersonal relationship, teaching and counseling, and leadership. The contents of job educationthat they needed were management of major symptoms and chronic diseases, understanding and prescriptionof medications, emergency responses and care, management of endemic diseases, planning and managementof public health programs, writing official documentsand computer works, and leadership training. The learningmethods they preferred were connecting theory and practice, situation- or case-based learning, skill- or practice-based learning, and increased opportunities of clinical practice. Conclusion: The findings of this study providedthe direction of job education for new community health practitioners. Job education for new communityhealth practitioners needs to consider the job competencies and educational needs identified in this study.
