This study was carried out to determine the adequacy of indoor environments in lecture room, laboratory room, restroom, building veranda, corridor, reading room of library, a mew building robby. In this study, carbon monoxide concentration, oxygen content, illumination intensity and noise were included. For this study, lecture room in Natural Science Building reading room of library, the cafeteria at Natural Science Building, an laboratory room of Natural Science Building Nartial Art and robby of new Building were surveyed and measured two times from each places during November, 2003. The following results were obtained ; The carbon monoxide concentrations were increased to the 10ppm at restroom and campus cafeteria, due to the tobacco smoking. The oxygen contents was 20.1 - 21.9%, The illuminations were varied to the places, the passage was low to the 72.2 - 145Lux. More illuminations were needed at passages and laboratory room. The noise were varied at the sites, the high noise was recorded at the passage 86.9dB. The noise of passages were a hazard factor to establish academic pursuit. The hygienic indoor environment of the campus were varied, but it is important for academic pursuit to do regular management in illuminations and control policy of noise at campus.
Myocardial T1 and T2 Mapping: Techniques and Clinical Applications

Cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) imaging is widely used in various medical fields related to cardiovascular diseases. Rapid technological innovations in magnetic resonance imaging in recent times have resulted in the development of new techniques for CMR imaging. T1 and T2 image mapping sequences enable the direct quantification of T1, T2, and extracellular volume fraction (ECV) values of the myocardium, leading to the progressive integration of these sequences into routine CMR settings. Currently, T1, T2, and ECV values are being recognized as not only robust biomarkers for diagnosis of cardiomyopathies, but also predictive factors for treatment monitoring and prognosis. In this study, we have reviewed various T1 and T2 mapping sequence techniques and their clinical applications.

Several reports of decline in the quality and decreases in the quantify of sperm production in humans over the last four decades have been made. As well as reported increases in incidences of certain cancers (breast, prostate, testicular) that may have an endocrine-related basis have led to speculation about environmental etiologies. However, considerable scientific uncertainty remains regarding the causes of these reported effects that can lead to profound and lasting effects. Nevertheless, it is known that the normal functions of all organ systems are regulted by the endocrine function, especially during certain stages of the life cycle such as development, pregnancy and lactation. Some xenobiotics have been shown to disrupt normal endocrine functions, which lead to aberrant development of female and male reproductive tissues and results in decreased fertility or sterility. The critical issues is whether sufficiently high levels of endocrine dirupting chemicals exist in the ambient environment to exert adverse health effects on the general population.
대사체분석을 이용한 DEHP 노출평가와 내분비장애 영향

본 연구는 프탈레이트중 DEHP 노출을 평가하기 위하여, 대학생의 뇨중 대사체를 분석하였으며, 그 결과를 보고하였다. DEHP는 광범위하게 사용되는 가소제로써 환경중 오염으로 인하여 무작위로 노출되며, 과량에 노출될 경우 간장독성과 내분비계장애를 초래하는 것으로 알려지고 있다. 분석은 LC/MS/MS(API 4000, Applied Bioscience)의 on-line 스위칭칼럼 기법을 이용하였으며, DEHP의 대사체로써, MEHP, MEOHP, MEHHP를 분석하였다. DEHP 노출량은 하루 평균 3.5㎍/kg bw/day 였으며, 학년이 올라갈수록 DEHP 노출량이 증가하는 경향을 보였다 (gradient : 0.014, r=0.057; P<0.0001). 이러한 결과는 독일에서 1998년에 수행된 대학생의 연구결과보다 높았으나, 2003년에 수행된 독일 대학생의 결과보다는 낮은 수준이었다. 향후, 대학생의 DEHP노출과 노출요인을 밝히는 연구와 DEHP 노출에 의한 건강영향에 관한 연구가 진행되어야 할 것으로 판단된다.
Dextran-Phthalylsulfathiazole의 합성과 항균성

Drug Dclivcry system (DDS) purpose to getting better remedial result by improving medication from ordinary methods. Applied for DDS, to improve selectivity and comtinuity during absorbing and delivery step, polmer drug (prodrug) was prepared by the esterification with dextran in such of biodegradable polymer and phthalylsulfathiazole with is efficient for entilitis. The polymer durg was prepared with dextran and phthalylsulfathiazole by the esterification. The synthetic procedures of polymer drug was performed by acid chloride and DCC methods. Polymer drug was synthesized in high yield by acid chloride method than DCC method. The antibiotic activities of polymer drug exhibited growth-inhibitory activity against Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, E. coli, Salmonella typhimurium, Klebsiella pneumoniae at the concentration of 500 *g/m* in general through in vitro. As a result of test, polymer drug has 1/2 MIC than phthalylsulfathiazole. Also, it has high level MIC as much as phthalylsulfathiazole with Proteus, Pseudomonas. We conducted possibility of DDS as an applied for medicine with synthesized polymer drug by using natrural polymer. We consider that clinical research must be followed to verify safety and efficacy for controlled release, activity and toxicity.
