Therefore, it is not easy to categorize the aspects of word fossilization into a few categories. In addition, it is more difficult to categorize the aspects of word fossilization than to categorize other linguistic units because a type of lexical change is too complicated.To find out a presumed fossilized form of an archaic word and to make it clear the origin of linguistic elements, it should be based on the etymological study. Based on this etymological study, we will be able to understand the general diachronic changes of the lexical system of Korean language. And then, we could further explain the synchronous lexical system.This study tried to find out the interrelationship between the diachronic changes and synchronic lexical system of Korean language. More accurate and systematic study need to be done in the future. Through these studies, we can overcome one obstacle so-called “insufficiency of materials” of Korean studies.

Black-spotted porcupine fish에서의 Proteus vulgaris 감염증

The genus Proteus has been rarely isolated from cultured fish. In this study, we reported Proteus vulgaris isolated from fish skin lesion of Black-spotted porcupine fish (Diodon hystrix). Identification of P. vulgaris was performed by general biological test, including API 20E and API ZYM. The sensitivity of isolated strains to different groups of antibiotics was evaluated using the disc diffusion method. It showed that the isolate is sensitive to ciprofloxacin (5 µg), norfloxacin (10 µg), enrofloxacin (5 µg), cefotaxime (30 µg).

Prognoses and Clinical Outcomes of Primary and Recurrent Uveal Melanoma

Purpose Uveal melanoma has a very poor prognosis despite successful local primary tumor treatment. In this study, we investigated prognostic factors that more accurately reflected the likelihood of recurrence and survival and delineated a prognostic model that could effectively identify different risk groups based on initial clinical parameters. Materials and Methods Prognostic factors associated with distant recurrence, recurrence-free survival (RFS), progression- free survival, and overall survival from distant recurrence to death (OS2) were analyzed in 226 patients with stage I-III uveal melanoma who underwent primary local therapy. Results Forty-nine patients (21.7%) had distant recurrences, which occurred most frequently in the liver (87.7%). In a multivariate analysis, local radiotherapy improved RFS among patients with multiple recurrence risk factors relative to excision (not reached vs. 19.0 months, p=0.004). Patients with BRCA1-associated protein-1 (BAP1)negative primary tumors showed a longer RFS duration after primary treatments, while those with BAP1-negative metastatic tissues had a shorter OS2 compared to those with BAP1-positive tumors, both not statistically insignificance (RFS: not reached vs. 82.0 months, p=0.258; OS2: 15.7 vs. 24.4 months, p=0.216). Male sex (hazard ratio [HR], 3.79; p=0.012), a short RFS (HR, 4.89; p=0.014), and a largest metastatic tumor linear diameter  45 mm (HR, 5.48; p=0.017) were found to correlate with worse post-recurrence survival. Conclusion Risk factors could be used to classify uveal melanoma cases and subsequently direct individual treatment strategies. Furthermore, metastasectomy appears to contribute to improved survival outcomes.

제조 패러다임 변화에 따라 다양한 협동로봇이 신규시장을 창출하고 있다. 협동로봇은 기존 산업용 로봇 대비쉬운 운용, 생산성 향상, 단순 작업을 하는 인력을 대체하는 목적으로 모든 산업에서 협동로봇의 수요가 증가하고 있다. 그러나 산업현장에서 협동로봇으로 인한 작업 중 사고가 빈번하게 발생하고 있으며, 작업자의 안전을 위협하고 있다. 인간 중심의 환경에서 로봇을 통한 산업현장이 구성되려면 작업자의 안전을 보장해야 하며 출동 가능성을 업애고 신뢰할수 있는 통신을 하는 협동로봇 가드 시스템의 개발의 필요성이 있다. 센서 및 컴퓨터 비전을 통해 협동로봇의 작업 반경내에서 발생하는 사고를 이중으로 방지하고 안전사고 위험을 감소시켜야 한다. 다양한 산업용 장비와 통신을 위한 국제프로토콜인 OPC UA를 기반으로 시스템을 구축하고 초음파 센서와 CNN(Convolution Neural Network)적용한 영상분석을 통한 협동로봇 가드 시스템을 제안한다. 제안 된 시스템은 작업자의 불안전한 상황에서 로봇 제어의 가능성을평가한다. The robot is the creation of new markets and various cooperation according to the manufacturing paradigm shift. Cooperative management easy for existing industrial robots, robots work on productivity, manpower to replace the robot in every industry cooperation for the purpose of and demand increases.to exist But the industrial robot at the scene of the cooperation working due to accidents are frequent, threatening the safety of the operator. Of industrial site is configured with a robot in an environment ensuring the safety of the operator to and confidence to communicate that can do the possibility of action.Robot guard system of the need for development cooperation. The robot's cooperation through the sensors and computer vision task within a radius of the double to prevent accidents and accidents should reduce the risk. International protocol for a variety of industrial production equipment and communications opc ua system based on ultrasonic sensors and cnn to (Convolution Neural Network) for video analytics.We suggest the cooperation with the robot guard system. Robots in a proposed system is unsafe situation of workers evaluating the possibility of control.

Predictors Associated with the Maintenance of Normal Thyroid Function after Unilateral Total Thyroidectomy in Patients with Papillary Thyroid Microcarcinoma

Purpose: The goal of this study was to identify factors affecting the maintenance of normal thyroid function in patients who did not receive immediate levothyroxine replacement after unilateral thyroid lobectomy (UTL) for papillary thyroid microcarcinoma (PTMC). Methods: A total of 232 patients were treated for PTMC between January 2015 and December 2017, of whom 40 patients were excluded because of treatment for thyroid disease (n=22) or an inability to maintain normal thyroid function during the preoperative examination (n=18). The remaining 192 patients for whom normal follow-up investigation was possible were then retrospectively analyzed for parameters including sex, age, preoperative free T4, thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), thyroglobulin, thyroid autoantibody, body mass index, postoperative histology, and remnant thyroid gland volume. Results: Of the 192 patients included in this study, 97 (50.5%) maintained normal thyroid function without levothyroxine replacement after UTL. The remaining 95 (49.5%) patients developed postoperative hypothyroidism, which was treated with immediate hormonal intervention. Univariate factors associated with postoperative hypothyroidism included sex, postoperative histopathology of the thyroid gland, and the preoperative TSH level. In the multivariate analysis, sex and preoperative TSH levels were identified as significant factors. Conclusion: Female sex and increasing preoperative TSH levels were identified as independent predictors of the development of postoperative hypothyroidism. The cut-off preoperative TSH level for predicting the maintenance of normal thyroid function after UTL was 1.89 mIU/L. Based on these observations, the potential risk of postoperative hypothyroidism in patients exhibiting elevated TSH levels should be discussed before initiating surgery.
