        저온저장이 미끌애꽃노린재(Orius laevigatus)로와 칠레이리응애(Phytoseiulus persimilis)의 생물학적 특성에 미치는 영향

        미끌애꽃노린재와 칠레이리응애를 온도 6, 8, 10, $12{\pm}1^{\circ}C$, 습도 $70{\pm}10%$, 광주기 24시간 암조건에 저장하여 생존을, 산란수 등을 조사하였다. 미끌애꽃노린재 성충의 70% 생존율이 가장 높은 온도는 줄알락명나방 알을 제공한 $10^{\circ}C$로 저장기간은 36일이었다. 피장기간별 산란수는 $10^{\circ}C$에 $10{\sim}50$일까지 저장한 결과, $37.1{\sim}120.5$개로 무저장 산란수 224.5개 대비 산란율은 $16.5{\sim}53.7%$로 감소하였다. 칠레이리응애 성충의 생존율이 가장 높은 온도는 $8^{\circ}C$이다. 저장기간별 산란수는 $8^{\circ}C$에 점박이응애 알을 먹이로 제공하여 $7{\sim}42$일 저장한 결과, 산란수는 $11.9{\sim}18.9$개로 무저장 산란수 26.4개 대비 산란율은 $45.1{\sim}71.6%$로 감소하였다. We have investigated some biological characteristics, such as survival rate and fecundity, of Orius laevigatus and Phytoseiulus persimilis, which have been stored at 6, 8, 10, $12{\pm}1^{\circ}C$, RH $70{\pm}10%$, in dark condition. Overall, an appropriate temperature for cold storage was $10^{\circ}C$ for O. laevigatus and $8^{\circ}C$ for P. persimilis. 70% of adult O. laevigatus could survive for 36 days at $10^{\circ}C$. The O. laevigatus stored at $10^{\circ}C$ for $10{\sim}50$ days laid $37.1{\sim}120.5$ eggs. Since fresh (no storage) O. laevigatus laid 224.5 eggs, comparative fecundity of stored adults was $16.5{\sim}53.7%$ of normal fecundity. P. persimilis stored at $8^{\circ}C$ for $7{\sim}2$ days with (food eggs of Tetranychus urticae) laid $11.9{\sim}18.9$ eggs. Since fresh P. persimilis laid 26.4 eggs, comparative fecundity of stored adults was $45.1{\sim}71.6%$ of normal fecundity.

        굴파리좀벌(Diglyphus isaea)을 이용한 시설재배 토마토 작형별 아메리카잎굴파리(Liriomyza trifolii) 밀도억제 효과

        서로 다른 세 가지 시설재배 토마토 포장에서 아메리카잎굴파리의 기생천적인 굴파리좀벌의 인위적방사에 의한 밀도억제 효과를 조사하였다. 봄 작형(3-7월)은 4월 하순부터 아메리카잎굴파리 유충 밀도가 주당 1마리일 때부터 굴파리좀벌을 $m^2$당 0.5-1.7마리씩 6회(총 5.8 마리$/m^2$) 방사한 결과, 조사 시작기인 5월 17일에 비해 조사 종료기인 7월 6일의 아메리카잎굴파리 방제가는 97.6%였다. 방사종인 굴파리좀벌의 점유율은 88.9%로 우점 하였다. 여름 작형(6-10월)은 7월 상순부터 아메리카잎굴파리 유충 밀도가 주당 0.4마리일 때부터 굴파리좀벌을 $m^2$당 0.3-0.4마리씩 5회(총 1.8 마리$/m^2$) 방사한 결과, 천적의 효과가 나타나는 7원 22일부터 11월 3일까지의 아메리카잎굴파리 유충 평균 치사율은 84.4%였다. 그러나 방사종인 굴파리좀벌의 점유율은 13.8%로 매우 낮은 반면, 나머지 86.2%는 외부에서 유입된 자생 잎굴파리 기생봉들이 점유하고 있었으며, 그 가운데 굴파리민좀벌(Chrysocharis penthus)이 58.5%로 가장 많이 발생하였다. 가을 작형(7-12월)은 9월 중순부터 아메리카잎굴파리 유충 밀도가 주당 0.7마리일 때부터 굴파리좀벌을 $m^2$당 0.4-1.3마리씩 4회(총 2.7마리$/m^2$방사한 결과, 조사시작기 인 9월 22일 대배 조사 종료기인 12월 16일의 아메리카잎굴파리 방제가는 85.7%였다. 방사종인 굴파리좀벌의 점유율은 83.4%로 우점 하였다. Biological control of Liriomyza trifolii (Burgess) using Diglyphus isaea (Walker) has been evaluated in tomato greenhouse, for three seasonal culture types: spring type (March-July), summer type (June-October) and autumn type (July-December). For spring type, totally 5.8 $individuals/m^2$ of D. isaea has been released at six times from late April, when the density of L. trifolii was about 1.0 individuals/plant. Corrected mortality of Liriomyza trifolii caused by parasitoids was 97.6% at early July, and the proportion of D. isaea was 88.9% of all parasitoids collected in the greenhouse. In the case of summer type, totally 1.8 $individuals/m^2$ of D. isaea has been released at five times from early July, when the density of 1. trifolii was about 0.4 individuals/plant. Corrected mortality of L. trifolii caused by parasitoids was 84.4% during the whole season, but the proportion of D. isaea was very low (only 13.8%). Immigrating parasitoids such as Chrysocharis penthus were synchronized to control the leafminer in the greenhouse. For autumn type, totally 2.7$individuals/m^2$ of D. isaea has been released at four times from mid September, when the density of L. trifolii was about 0.7 individuals/plant. Corrected mortality of f. trifolii caused by parasitoids was 85.7% at mid December, and the proportion of the D. isaea was 83.4%.

        자극양식에 따른 청감각기억에서의 여러가지 부호화방식과 처리방식

        본 연구는 청각조건과 입술운동 조건에서 나타나는 최근 및 접미효과가 동일한 기제에 의해 처리된 결과라는 Greene 와 Crowder(1984)의 수정된 PAS모형을 검증하기 위해 시행되었다. 최근 및 접미효과와 상호작용하는 것으로 보이는 음성적 특성을 실험조작하여 청각과 입술운동 조건에서 자음과 모음간에 차별적 회상효과를 보이는지 알아보았다. 이것은 Turner 등(1987)의 주장과 일치하는 결과이다. 한편, 잡음-입술운동 조건과 입술운동 조건의 마지막 계열위치에서 유의미한 회상 차이를 보이지 않았으므로, 잡음은 입술운동 정보에 대한 최근 효과에 영향을 주지 않고, 따라서 청각정보와 입술운동 정보는 다른 기제를 통해 부호화되는 것으로 보인다. This study investigated Greene and Corwder(1984)'s modified PAS model, according to which, in a short-term memory recall task, the recency and suffix effects existing in auditory and visual conditions are mediated by the same mechanisms. It also investigated whether the auditory information and mouthed information are encoded by the same codes. Though the experimental manipulation of the phonological nature, the presence of differential recall effect of consonant-and vowel-varied stimuli in auditory and mouthing conditions which has been supposed to interact with the recency and suffix effects, was investigated. The result shows that differential recall effect between consonant and vowel exists only in the auditory condition, but not in the mouthing condition. Thus, this result supported Turner.

        대기 플라즈마 용사공정을 이용한 Cu계 벌크 비정질 금속 코팅의 미세조직 분석과 나노 압입시험을 이용한 상 분석

        In this study, Cu-based bulk metallic glass (BMG) coatings were deposited by atmospheric plasma spraying (APS) process with different process conditions (with- and without hydrogen gas). As adding the hydrogen gas, thermal energy in the plasma flame increased and induced difference in the melting state of the Cu-based BMG particles. The microstructure and mechanical properties of the coatings were analyzed using a scanning electron microscope (SEM) with an energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) and nano-indentation tester in the light of phase analysis. It was elucidated by the nano-indentation tests that un-melted region was a mainly amorphous phase which showed discrete plasticity observed as the flow serrations on the load.displacement (P - h) curves, and the curves of solidified region showed lower flow serrations as amorphous phase mingled with crystalline phase. Oxides produced during the spraying process had the highest hardness value among the phases and were well mixed with other phases resulted from the increase in melting degree.

        강원도(江原道) 영월(寧越) - 예미지역(禮美地域)의 지질구조(地質構造)

        The Yeongweol - Yemi area, in the area between the Kagdong thrust fault and Samcheog Coalfield, comprises Paleozoic and Mesozoic sedimentary and igneous rocks. Geologic structures related with thrust movements are dominant in the area. These are thrust faults, imbricate structures and hanging-wall anticline. Thrust sheets were transported from NW to SE and these differ from the Cretaceous Bulkuksa Orogeny of which thrust sheets were transported from N to S. NE - trending folds are dominant, but NW - trending folds and refolded folds are also found. NW - trending folds are only found in the Cambro-Ordovician sedimentary rocks. It might be an indication of the presence of late Paleozoic tectonism in the Korean Peninsula.

        KESLI 컨소시엄의 주요 이슈 분석에 관한 연구

        KESLI 컨소시엄의 핵심 포인트는 참가기관의 참여도를 높여 응집력과 신뢰성을 증진시킴으로써 출판사의 지속적인 가격인상에 공동으로 대처하고, 국내 각급 기관에 분산 소장된 학술정보를 공동으로 활용할 수 있는 기반을 제공함으로써 참가기관에 실익을 주는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 향후 컨소시엄 참가기관이 공통적으로 적용받을 수 있는 합리적이고 발전적인 컨소시엄 운영모델을 마련하기 위한 전제로써 문헌연구, 설문지 조사와 패널토론을 통해 컨소시엄 참가기관의 전체의견을 수렴하여 KESLI 컨소시엄의 당면과제를 도출하여 제시하고자 한다. A core point of the KESLI consortium raises the participation score of the joining institute and improves the cohesive force and reliability to cope with prices continued rising of publishers, commonly and gives the actual profit to the joining institute by providing the base able to utilize the academic information with dispersion owning the national institutes. In this study the whole opinion of the consortium joining institute is collected in the future in order to deduce the reasonable and advantageous consortium model in which the consortium joining institute can be commonly applied. The facing task of the KESLI consortium is analyzed through a literature research, a questionnaire survey, a panel discussion and we try to present.

        감마 혼합 모형을 통한 반복 측정된 형제 쌍 연관 분석 사례연구

        전통적으로 반복 측정된 형제 쌍 연관 분석에서는 선형 혼합 모형이 사용되어 왔다. 그러나 그 모형은 관심있는 표현형과 연관된 유전자좌를 찾는 것에 있어서 검정력이 문제가 되는 것으로 지적되어 왔다. 본 연구에서 우리는 이러한 검정력 문제를 개선하는 방법으로 감마 혼합 모형을 고려하였고, 검정력과 제 1종 오류의 관점에서 선형 혼합 모형과 성능을 서로 비교하여 보았다. Genetic Analysis Workshop 13에서 제공된 자료를 이용하여 살펴본 결과, 감마 혼합 모형이 검정력에 있어서 큰 이득을 볼 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. Traditionally, sib-pair linkage analysis with repeated measures has employed linear mixed models, but it suffers from the lack of power to find genetic marker loci associated with a phenotype of interest. In this paper, we use a gamma mixed model to improve sib-pair linkage analysis and compare it with a linear mixed model in terms of power and Type I error. We illustrate that the use of gamma mixed model can achieve higher power than linear mixed model with Genetic Analysis Workshop 13 data.

        R&D와 규모의 영세성이 산업별 총요소생산성에 미치는 영향

        There were many comprehensive analyses conducted within the existing research activities wherein factors affecting technology progress including investment in R&D vis-${\Box}$-vis their influences act as the determinants of TFP. Note, however, that there were few comprehensive analysis in the industrial research performed regarding the impact of the economy of scale as it affects TFP; most of these research studies dealt with the analysis of the non -parametric Malmquist productivity index or used the stochastic frontier production function models. No comprehensive analysis on the impacts of individual independent variables affecting TFP was performed. Therefore, this study obtained the TFP increase rate of each industry by analyzing the factors of the existing growth accounting equation and comprehensively analyzed the TFP determinants by constructing a comprehensive analysis model considering the investment in R&D and economy of scale (smallness by industry) as the influencers of TFP by industry. First, for the TFP increase rate of the 15 industries as a whole, the annual average increase rate for 1993${\sim}$ 1997 was approximately 3.8% only; during 1999${\sim}$ 2000 following the foreign exchange crisis, however, the annual increase rate rose to approximately 7.8%. By industry, the annual average increase rate of TFP between 1993 and 2000 stood at 11.6%, the highest in the electrical and electronic equipment manufacturing business and IT manufacturing sector. In contrast, a -0.4% increase rate was recorded in the furniture and other product manufacturing sectors. In the case of the service industry, the TFP increase rate was 7.3% in the transportation, warehousing, and communication sectors. This is much higher than the 2.9% posted in the electricity, water, and gas sectors and -3.7% recorded in the wholesale, food, and hotel businesses. The results of the comprehensive analysis conducted on the determinants of TFP showed that the correlations between R&D and TFP in general were positive (+) correlations whose significance has yet to be validated; in the model where the self-employed and unpaid family workers were used as proxy variables indicating the smallness of industry out of the total number of workers, however, significant negative (-) correlations were noted. On the other hand, the estimation factors of variables surrogating the smallness of scale in each industry showed that a consistently high "smallness of scale" in an industry means a decrease in the increase rate of TFP in the same industry.

        갈고리뱀잠자리붙이의 생물적 특성에 미치는 온도의 영향

        본 연구는 온도(15, 20, 25, $30^{\circ}C$), 습도($70{\pm}10%$), 광주기(16L:8D)에서 갈고리뱀잠자리붙이의 생물적 특성을 조사하기 위해 수행되었다. 알에서부터 번데기까지의 발육영점온도 및 유효적산온도는 각각 $9.6^{\circ}C$ 및 270.3일도였다. $25^{\circ}C$에서 갈고리뱀잠자리붙이의 알 기간은 4.4일, 유충은 5.5일, 번데기는 6.9일이었다. 암컷 성충의 수명은 34.9일, 산란 기간은 28.7일이었고, 총 산란수는 515.2개, 1일 최대 산란수는 54.8개였다. $25^{\circ}C$에서 갈고리뱀잠자리붙이에 의한 싸리수염진딧물의 1령, 2령, 3령 및 성충의 일일 포식량은 각각 18.9, 47.2, 57.7 및 91.0마리이었다. 따라서 갈고리뱀잠자리붙이는 진딧물의 포식성 천적으로 이용이 가능할 것으로 여겨진다. This study was performed to investigate the biological characteristics of the brown lacewing Micromus angulatus (Stephens) at four different temperatures (15, 20, 25, and $30^{\circ}C$) and $70{\pm}10%$ relative humidity under a photoperiodic regime of 16:8(L:D) h. The developmental threshold and effective accumulative temperature from egg to pupa for M. angulatus were $9.6^{\circ}C$ and 270.3 day-degrees, respectively. The developmental period of egg, larva, and pupa at $25^{\circ}C$ was 4.4, 5.5, and 6.9 days. respectively. The longevity of an adult female M. angulatus was 34.9 days. The oviposition period for M. angulatus was 28.7 days, in which it laid a total number of 515.2 eggs during its life span. The maximum number of eggs laid by a female in a day was 54.8. Daily consumption by M. angulatus at $25^{\circ}C$ was 18.9 $1^{st}$ instars, 47.2 $2^{nd}$ instars, 57.7 $3^{rd}$ instars, and 91.0 adults of the glasshouse potato aphid, Aulacorthum solani. Therefore, M. angulatus could be a promising biological control agent against aphids.
