A novel optimization-based advanced control technique for simulated moving bed (SMB) is proposed. This technique is a model-based control technique developed by adding the basic concept about Two-stage batch control to Repetitive model predictive control (RMPC) which is suited for periodic process. A linearized reduced order model, which accounts for the periodic nature of the SMB process, is used for online optimization and control. This control technique utilizes the past cycle data as well as the real-time measurements at the raffinate and extract outlets used as the feeback information. The calclulated input adjustment maximize the productivity and minimize the desorbent consumption subject to constraints on product purities. Through a application on a virtual SMB process, this approach was found to perform quite satisfactorily regardless of a series of typical plant disturbances and significant model uncertainties.

구상 시의 성경인유 고찰

구상 시인은 존재인식의 시와 역사의식의 시가 균형을 갖춘 시 세계를 구축한 가톨릭 시인으로 문학사적 의의를 지니고 있다. 본고에서는 인유의 원천으로서 성경에 등장하는 인물, 사건, 구절 등이 구상 시에 인용된 양상들을 살폈다. 구절을 인용한 양상에서는, 구(句)와 절(節)로 나누어 고찰하였다. 구의 경우는 성경에서 관습적으로 쓰여 독특한 의미를 지닌 ‘관용어(idiomatic expression)’와 성경의 어구가 시에 자주 쓰여 뜻이 굳어진 ‘개인적 상징’(personal symbol)의 양상을 나누어 살폈다. 직접인용과 간접인용을 동시에 구사한 시편들에서 다른 기독교시인과 구별되는 구상 시인의 성경인용상의 특징이 두드러지게 드러났다. 구상 시인의 성경인용의 시세계는 종교적 각성과 고백, 예언자적 지성의 현실 비판과 경고로 이루어져 있다. 본고의 의의는 그러한 구상 시의 사상적 근거와 그 표현의 출처인 성경을 처음으로 조명하여 그 특징을 밝힌 데 있다. The poet Sang Ku was a Catholic poet who established the poetic world with a balanced consciousness of existence and history, and has influenced the history of literature. This study figures out the quoted aspects of characters, events, verses and others from the bible as a source of the allusion. From the aspects quoted verses, this paper divides them into phrases and paragraphs. In the case of the phrase, it is examined by separating its aspects into the ‘idiomatic expression’ and the ‘personal symbol.’ The characteristics of the biblical quotations of the poet Sang Ku who differs from the other protestant poets, because Sang Ku remarkably uses in his poems both direct and indirect quotations. This study highlights the quotations of the bible where it is likely to identify the source of ideological foundation and expression of Sang Ku for the very first time.

Correlation between MRI and Operative Findings in Bell's Palsy and Ramsay Hunt Syndrome

Purpose: To investigate the correlation between gadolinium enhanced magnetic resonance image (MRI) results and surgical findings of facial nerves in Bell’s palsy and Ramsay Hunt syndrome. Materials and Methods: From 1995 to 2004, MRI was performed on 13 patients with Bell’s palsy or Ramsay Hunt syndrome, who were offered with surgical decompression of the facial nerve through the middle cranial fossa approach. Gadolinium enhanced MRI was performed on all patients and the enhancement of the facial nerve was evaluated by radiology specialists. Operative findings including the degree of the facial nerve segment swelling were examined. Furthermore, the time interval from the onset of palsy to surgery was evaluated. Results: Swelling of facial nerve segments was found in patients with enhanced facial nerves from MRI. The swelling of the facial nerve in the labyrinthine segment in particular was identified in all patients with enhanced labyrinthine segments in MRI. The intraoperative swelling of geniculate ganglion of facial nerve was found in 78% of patients with enhanced facial segment in MRI (p=0.01). The intraoperative swelling of tympanic segment was observed from fourth to ninth weeks after the onset of palsy. Conclusion: MRI enhancement of facial nerves in Bell’s palsy and Ramsay Hunt syndrome is associated with the extent of intratemporal lesions of facial nerves, especially in the labyrinthine segment.

골프용품 소비자의 체면민감성 및 상징적 소비성향, 이미지 일치성과 브랜드충성도의 관계

Purpose The purpose of this study is to verify the relationship among facial sensitivity, symbolic consumption propensity, image congruity and brand loyalty of golf goods consumers. Methods Using golf practice ranges in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Gangwon, and a total of 400 were sampled using the convenience sampling, and a total of 340 copies were analyzed. For data analysis, frequency, reliability and correlation analysis were performed by SPSS 20.0. Confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation model analysis were performed by LISREL 8.3. Result Face sensitivity of consumers was found to have a effect on symbolic consumption propensity. Face sensitivity of consumers did not have a effect on image congruity. Face sensitivity of consumers did not have a effect on brand loyalty. Symbolic consumption propensity of consumers had a effect on image congruity. Symbolic consumption propensity of consumers did not have a effect on brand loyalty. Image congruity of consumers was found to have a effect on brand loyalty. As a result of the verification of direct & indirect effects among variables, it was found that symbolic consumption propensity and image congruity play a partly mediating role in the relationship among the variables. Conclusion In the relationship among face sensitivity, symbolic consumption propensity, image congruity and brand loyalty of consumers, such as symbolic consumption propensity and image congruity were found to play a partly mediating role in the relationship between variables. 연구목적 골프용품 소비자의 체면민감성 및 상징적 소비성향, 이미지 일치성과 브랜드충성도의 관계를 검증하는 데 있다. 연구방법 서울, 경기, 강원지역의 골프연습장을 이용하는 골퍼들을 모집단으로 설정하고 편의표본추출법으로 총 400명을 표집, 총 340부를 분석하였다. SPSS 20.0을 이용하여 빈도분석과, 신뢰도 및 상관관계분석을 실시하였으며, LISREL 8.3을 이용하여 확인적 요인분석과 구조방정식모형분석을 실시하였다. 결과 첫째, 골프용품 소비자들의 체면민감성은 상징적 소비성향에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 골프용품 소비자들의 체면민감성은 이미지 일치성에 직접적으로 유의한 영향이 미치지는 않는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 골프용품 소비자들의 체면민감성은 브랜드충성도에 직접적으로 유의한 영향을 미치지는 않는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 골프용품 소비자들의 상징적 소비성향은 이미지 일치성에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 골프용품 소비자들의 상징적 소비성향과 브랜드충성도 간에는 유의한 영향이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 여섯째, 골프용품 소비자의 이미지 일치성은 브랜드충성도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 일곱째, 연구변인 간 직·간접효과 검증결과 체면민감성이 이미지 일치성에 미치는 직접 효과보다 상징적 소비성향을 통한 간접효과가 더 큰 것으로 나타났으며, 체면민감성이 이미지 일치성에는 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타나, 상징적 소비성향이 체면민감성과 이미지 일치성 간에 매개역할을 하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 체면민감성과 브랜드충성도의 관계에서도 체면민감성이 브랜드충성도에 직접적인 영향을 미치지 않는 반면, 상징적 소비성향과 이미지 일치성이 포함된 직·간접효과 검증에서는 체면민감성과 브랜드충성도 간의 직접효과가 큰 것으로 나타났다. 또한 상징적 소비성향이 이미지 일치성에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 이미지 일치성이 상징적 소비성향과 브랜드충성도 간에 매개역할을 하는 영향력이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 결론 골프용품 소비자들의 체면민감성과 상징적 소비성향, 이미지 일치성과 브랜드충성도의 관계에서는 상징적 소비성향과 이미지 일치성 등의 변인들이 변인 간 관계에서 부분적으로 매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다.

항복응력이 압력관 재료의 지체균열전파에 미치는 영향

The effects of yield stress on various parameters of Delayed Hydride Cracking (DHC) in pressure tube materials were investigated by experimental tests and by comparing with theoretical models. The DHC test and tension test were conducted at 200℃ for three kinds of zirconium alloys. As yield stress decreased, the threshold stress intensity factor and the striation spacing increased in one alloy, white fracture surfaces and striation were affected by microstructures in all alloys. The DHC velocity decreased as yield stress decreased. Hence, the DHC velocity was predictable by yield stress and DHC model. However, the predicted velocity was a little higher than measured velocity due to slight microstructural differences. The decrease in yield stress improved the resistance against DHC phenomena in pressure tube materials.

Mullite 합성에 있어서 조성에 따른 Mullite-seed 첨가효과

kaolin과 수산화알루미늄을 이용하여 mullite를 합성하는데 있어서 출발원료의 조성을 silica rich, stoichiometric, alumina rich 조성으로 준비하여 각각의 원료로부터 mullite를 합성할 때 mullite-seed가 미치는 영향을 연구하였다. 그 결과 silica rich 조성과 stoichiometric 조성에서는 mullite-seed의 첨가량이 증가할수록 꺾임강도값이 증가하며, alumina rich 조성에서는 mullite-seed의 첨가량이 증가할수록 꺾임강도값은 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 같은 양의 mullite-seed를 첨가했을 때 미세구조는 alumina 첨가 함량이 증가할수록 치밀도가 감소하고, aspect ratio는 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다. 순도면에서는 mullite정량결과 모든 조성에서 mullite-seed의 첨가량이 많을수록 합성된 mullite 결정상의 함량이 증가하는 경향을 보였다. Influence of seed addition on the mullite synthesis was investigated from mixture powders of kaolin and aluminium trihydroxide which contain various $Al_2O_3$/SiO_2$ ratio (silica rich, stoichiometric, alumina rich). The flexural strength increases with the increase of the mullite-seed content in case of silica rich and stoichiometric mullite, but flexural strength decreases with the increase of the mullite-seed content in case of alumina rich mullite. Microstructural investigation revealed that aspect ratio of mullite grains increased with higher alumina content, along with lower sintered density. Mullite contents of specimens are increased with seed content regardless of $Al_2O_3$/SiO_2$ ratio of the mixture composition.
