Fast Evaluation of Period Deviation and Flatness of a Linear Scale by Using a Fizeau Interferometer

A reflective-type linear scale with a pitch of 1.67 m used in an interferential scanning-type 2-DOF linear encoder is evaluated by the Fizeau interferometer with a measurement range of 100 mm. The 2-DOF linear encoder produces 2-axis position signals based on the interference between the X-directional positive and negative first-order diffracted beams from the linear scale. Firstly, the Z-directional flatness eZ(x,y) of the linear scale is evaluated from the wavefront of the zero-order diffracted beam reflected from the linear scale. The linear scale is then tilted to align the axes of the first-order diffracted beams with that of the interferometer so that the X-directional period deviation eX(x,y)of the linear scale can be evaluated from the wavefronts of the X-directional positive and negative first--order diffracted beams. Finally, the Z-directional flatness eZ(x,y) and X-directional period deviation eX(x,y) were verified by comparing those with the nonlinear components of the 2-DOF linear encoder using the evaluated linear scale.

Nowadays, buildings have a tendency to go high rising and more diverse. Simultaneously, stone finish of building wall is increasing. In stone finish method, it was used wet process by mortar, but the main stream of this days is stone veneer paste method with use of an adhesive and steel bar. Wide used curtainwall methods are Convention Method, Paneling System and so on. But they have several demerits like building overweight, uneasy union with structure. The purpose of this study is developing lightweight stone veneer curtain wall for duration shortness, good construction and economy. For developing lightweight stone curtainwall with use of deck plate and light steel, it was examined the quality of stone and adhesive. The results of study are below ; 1) When penetrate protection agent is used for stone curtainwall, stone pollution from silicon adhesive can be prevented for long time. 2) As tension weight is going up, side of Bolt whole is cracked. and it failed at weight 400㎏f. When bolt is failed, stone of boltside shows corn shape. It says that stone tension of boltside brings bolt tension.

‘친들’은 국립식량과학원 벼맥류부에서 2012년도에 벼멸구 저항성을 가진 HR22538-GHB-36-4와 고품질이며 수량이 우수한 익산471호를 교배하여 육성한 친환경재배적응 고품질 복합내병충성 우수 품종이다. ‘친들’은 서남부해안지 및 평택이남 평야지(충남, 전남북, 경남북) 보통기 보비재배에서 이앙부터 수확까지 124일의 생육일수를 가진다. 간장은 83츠 이며 내도복성이다. 병해충 저항성은 벼멸구, 벼흰잎마름병 K1, K2, K3 균계, 벼줄무늬잎마름병에 강하다. ‘친들’은 쌀알이 맑고 투명하며 중립종이다. 비교품종인 남평벼 보다 단백질이 5.9%로 낮고 밥맞이 매우 좋다. 수량성은 3년간 지역적응성 시험 결과 5.61 MT/ha 이다. ‘친들’은 복합내병충성 육종에 있어 매우 유용한 유전자원으로 사용될 것이다. ‘Chindeul’, a new japonica rice cultivar developed from a cross between HR22538-GHB-36-4 having brown planthopper(BPH) resistance and Iksan471 having a good eating-quality and high yield, was developed by the rice breeding team of Department of Rice and Winter Cereal Crop, NICS, RDA in 2012. This variety has about 124 days growth duration from transplanting to harvesting in west-southern coast, Honam and Youngnam plain of Korea. It has 83 cm culm length and tolerance to lodging. In reaction to biotic and abiotic stresses, it shows resistance to bacterial blight pathogen races from K1 to K3, stripe virus and brown planthopper. The milled rice of ‘Chindeul’ exhibits translucent, relatively clear non-glutinous endosperm and medium short grain. It has lower protein content of 5.9% and good palatability of cooked rice compared with Nampyeongbyeo. The milled rice yield performance of this variety is about 5.61 MT/ha in local adaptability test for three years. ‘Chindeul’ would be useful genetic resources for multi-resistance breeding program against disease and insect.

중모1012호'는 국립식량과학원 상주출장소에서 2010년도에 육성한 조생 고품질 고식미 내수발아성 중간모본으로 주요 특성과 수량성을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 남부중산간지, 북부평야지 및 중산간지, 남부고냉지 및 동북부해안지 보통기 보비재배에서 평균 출수기가 7월 31일로 '오대벼'보다 2일 늦은 조생종이다. 2. 간장은 78 cm로 '오대벼'보다 크며, 수당립수는 많고 등 숙비율이 높은 중립종에 속한다. 3. 위조현상은 나타나지 않았으며 성숙기 하엽 Jungmo 1012' a new japonica rice intermediate parent developed from a cross between 'Sambaegbyeo'having a good eating-quality and lodging resistance, and 'u329' was developed by the rice breeding team of Sangju Substation, National Institute of Crop Science, Rural Development Administration in 2010. This variety has about 120 days growth duration from transplanting to harvesting in southern mid-mountainous area of Korea. It has 78 cm culm length and tolerance to lodging. In reaction to biotic and abiotic stresses, it shows strong resistance to blast and viviparous germination, but is susceptible to bacterial blight, virus diseases, and insect pests. The milled rice of 'Jungmo 1012'exhibit translucent, relatively clear non-glutinous endosperm and medium short grain. It has a little lower amylose content of 18.2%, and higher protein content of 6.3%, and good palatability of cooked rice compared with 'Odaebyeo' The milled rice yield performance of this variety is about 5.55 MT/ha in local adaptability test for three years. 'Jungmo 1012'will be adaptable to southern mid-mountainous of South Korea.

Currently, techniques mainly used in semiconductor impurity diffusion processes include furnace thermal diffusion, ion implantation, and vacuum plasma doping. However, there is a disadvantage that the process equipment and the unit cost are expensive. In this study, boron diffusion process using relatively inexpensive atmospheric plasma was conducted to solve this problem. With controlling parameters of Boron diffusion process, the doping characteristics were analyzed by using secondary ion mass spectrometry. As a result, the influence of each variable in the doping process was analyzed and the feasibility of atmospheric plasma doping was confirmed.
