        대학 교양영어 교육에서 영어 드라마를 활용한 블렌디드 교수·학습 모형의 개발과 적용

        지방대학의 교양영어 프로그램에서는 학생들의 영어 학습에 대한 정의적 동기유발을 위해서 다양한 시도가 이루어지는데 그중의 하나가 온·오프 블렌디드 러닝 수업이다. 본 연구에서는 대학 교양영어에서 실용영어 능력을 향상시키는 방안으로 그동안 비교적 많은 연구가 이루어진 블렌디드 러닝에 영어 드라마를 실어서 교양영어교육의 목적을 실현하고자 한다. 이를 위해서 우선 맡은 학생들의 요구조사를 바탕으로 ‘Kim’s Convenience’라는 영어 드라마를 활용한 오프라인 중심의 블렌디드 러닝 수업모형을 제안하였다. 한 학기 동안 적용한 결과 모형의 듣기·말하기의 통합적 효과와 정의적 영역에서 영어에 대한 흥미도의 향상과 불안감의 해소에 통계적으로 유의한 효과가 있었다. 학생들의 제안된 모형에서 이루어진 여러 가지 수업활동 중에서 흥미도에서는 드라마 시청 활동, 효용성에서는 드라마 시청 전 언어 수업이, 이해도에서는 역할극 시연 활동이 가장 많은 도움이 되는 것으로 나타났다. General English programs in provincial colleges attempt to implement different programs to motivate students in English. One such an attempt is an on/off-blended learning class. This paper in the same vein designed a blended learning model using English drama to enhance practical English proficiency of college students in the general English program. To this end, Kim’s Convenience and off-line based blended learning model was developed as the experimental model based on the needs analysis of the participating students. After a semester of application of the model, it is noted that students’ listening and speaking integrated proficiency was significantly raised along with the increase of interest in English and the reduction of anxiety in English. In the students’ evaluation of learning activities in the model, the drama watching activity was attributed most high to the enhanced interest in English, the off-line language lesson in the pre-watching stage was most helpful to their English learning using the drama, and finally the enactment of the role-play was most responsible for their understanding the English drama.

      • 고점도 지류 및 섬유 문화재의 점도 측정 개선 방법 연구

        지류, 섬유, 목재와 같은 유기질 문화재는 주요 화학성분으로서 셀룰로오스로 구성되어 있다. 셀룰로오스는 글루코오스가 분자내 또는 분자간 수소결합으로 고분자 결정성 구조를 이루고 있다. 특히 셀룰로오스의 중합도는 종이나 섬유의 강도와 밀접한 관련이 있으며, 종이나 섬유에 있어서 열화의 진행정도나 보존성을 나타내는 지표로써 사용된다. 일반적으로 이러한 셀룰로오스의 분자량을 측정하는 방법으로 TAPPI 표준방법인 CED (cupriethylene diamine)용액을 이용한 점도측정법을 많이 사용하고 있다. 목재 섬유로 제조된 종이의 경우 TAPPI 표준 방법 T230법에 의거하여 셀룰로오스 점도를 측정한다. 그러나 우리나라 종이나 섬유의 주요 원료인 닥나무 인피섬유, 저마, 면 등은 목재 셀룰로오스 섬유에 비해 분자량이 크고 중합도가 높아 현재까지 주로 사용되던 T230법으로는 정확한 점도 측정이 어렵다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 고점도 측정방법인 TAPPI 표준 방법 T254법에 의거하여 저농도 CED 용액으로 섬유 깊숙이 용액을 침투시켜 해리시킨 뒤 고농도의 CED 용액으로 완전히 용해시키는 방법을 이용하여 한지의 점도를 측정하였고, 열화시편에 적용하여 종이와 섬유의 열화에 의한 손상정도를 측정하였다. Paper, textile and wood materials are mainly consisted of cellulose. Cellulose is high molecule and make up the strong crystalline structure by hydrogen bonds. In particular, the polymerization degree of cellulose are closely related to the strength of fiber, and the permanence. the useful life of fiber, also depends on the degradation of this substance. The viscosity of cellulose is considered to be an important indicator of fiber damage in high molecule polymers. The viscosity measurements with CED solution is used to measure the molecular weight and the degree of polymerization of cellulose. Cellulose viscosity of wood fibers is measured with TAPPI standard method T230. However, TAPPI standard method T230 is difficult to completely dissolving the cellulose of high molecular weight and large degree of polymerization, such as Korea traditional papers and fabrics made with mulberry, ramie, cotton fibers. In this study, The high viscosity of hanji and fabric was measured with TAPPI standard method T254. T254 method is that the cellulose specimen with the proper amount of weaker (0.167M CED) solution, and completely dissolved with the stronger (1.0M CED) solution. It was found that cellulose with high degree of polymerization was dissolved more easily in general CED method.

        자귀나무 꼬투리로부터 Acylated Sterylglycoside의 분리

        From the legumes of Albizzia julibrissin Durazzini (Leguminosae), a mixture of long-chain alcohols, ${\alpha}-spinasterol$, a mixture of acylated sterol glycosides and ${\alpha}-spinasteryl$ $3-O-{\beta}-D-glucoside$ were isolated. Two mixtures of long-chain alcohols and acylated sterol glycosides were characterized as 1-hexacosanol (major) and 1-tetracosanol, and $3-O-[6'-O-palmitoyl-{\beta}-D-glucosyl]-{\alpha}-spinasterol$ (major) and its 6'-O-stearoyl ester. All compounds were identified on the basis of spectral data and chemical reactions.

        만발형골화석증

        Osteopetrosis is an uncommon hereditary bone disorder whose prominent radiologic feature characterized by increased bone density. The authors reported a 7-year-old male patient who referred from local dental clinic for dental problems such as early exfoliation of deciduous teeth(#54,73,83) and delayed eruption of permanent teeth(#31.41.36.46). The patient appeared as a poorly developed. Dental X-ray films showed early exfoliation of deciduous teeth, delayed eruption of permanent teeth, and rampant caries. Lateral view of skull demonstrated increased opacity of calvarium, facial bones, and skull base. Generally the skeletal density is greatly increased throughout all bones. Facial CT showed poor development of paranasal sinuses and mastoid air cells. No hematopoietic and neurologic complications such as anemia, thrombocytopenia, blindness and deafness were found. Also mental retardation was not found. The final diagnosis of this case was a osteopetrosis tarda. Sometimes patient with osteopetrosis tarda may be developed dental problems prior to severe systemic symptoms. The dentist can be the first clinician to see the patient. It is very important for the dentist to have the knowledge of the osteopetrosis and to care the patient's dental problems to prevent complication such as osteomyelitis of jaws.

        염색폐수의 수질독성시험을 이용한 한국의 수질배출허용기준 평가연구

        Acute aquatic toxicity of effluents discharged from five dyeing plants in Gyeong-gi province were evaluated to assess whether the current Korean water quality standards(KWQS) could protect aquatic life. Chemical analyses of all parameters regulated under KWQS, except for E-coli, were also carried out to determine regulation compliance of the samples. All the effluent samples were satisfied with KWQS except for the color in only one sample. In acute Daphnia magna toxicity tests, significant mortality was observed in one of five samples and EC50 was 12.1%(95% confidence interval 9.1-16.2), which was in compliance with KWQS. The result of the Microtox assay indicated that acute microbial toxicity existed in effluents from three out of five plants, two of which were in compliance with KWQS. The agreement between regulation compliance of chemical concentrations of effluent and observed toxicity from various biological toxicity tests was very poor to fair (kappa = 0.194~0.250). The data presented suggest that exposure to dyeing wastewater which were in compliance with Korean water quality standards may not be safe to aquatic biota, and multiple tropical levels should be considered in aquatic toxicity monitoring of dyeing industry.

        황무지와 올랜도의 상호텍스트성과 젠더 감수성에 관하여

        Eliot and Woolf deconstruct stereotypes about human sexuality: that is, Orlando from Orlando: A Biography and Tiresias from The Waste Land are the main characters. Orlando is a male and then transforms into a female; however, he keeps his love for the Russian princess Sasha and becomes a bisexual as a woman who has passed the heart of a man. Woolf portrays the story of Orlando, who lives 342 years, in a fantasy format, modeling on her friend, Vita Sackville-west and her family. Orlando, liberated from the fixed gender role of patriarchal society, lives as a free female writer. On the other hand, Tiresias in The Waste Land cannot escape the role of a prophet who observes the world with wrinkled dugs. What he can feel is the role of only looking at the painful screams of women. However, Eliot shows the fear of a world stained with sexual assault through Marie, a narrator representing femininity and shouts thorough swallowing, retribution and revenge against men. Like the chess or warfare version, the world was just a mess and wasteland where violence and revenge were repeated. However, in a similar situation, Woolf seeks to correct a world divided into bisexual understanding, marriage and true love through Orlando. Analyzing with the concept of gender like this, Orlando and The Waste Land, like a questionnaire and answer sheet, can be interpreted as the essence of fantasy with intertextuality.

        토혈을 동반한 회맹장형 장중첩증 1례

        Intussusception is a common cause of lower intestinal bleeding from five to 11 months of age. Typical symptoms are paroxysmal colicky pain, irritability, vomiting, abdominal mass and currant jelly stool, but hematemesis is rare. Though the most common type of intussusception is ileocecal type, it is rarely accompanied with hematemesis. Up until the present, hematemesis has been observed rarely but only in ileoileal type intussusuption for children and gastrojejunal or jejunojejunal type intussuception for adults who went through gastrectomy. We report a case of the ileocolic type intussusception associated with hematemesis in a 18 months old child. 저자들은 소아에서 토혈과 혈변으로 내원하여 회맹장형 장중첩증으로 진단된 1례를 경험하였기에 보고하는 바이며, 토혈을 동반한 환아의 진단에 있어 장중첩증을 고려해야 할 것으로 사료된다.

        NH3-Air-C3H8 분위기에서 Nitrocarburisng시 형성된 Compound Layer의 조직제어

        The effect of Air/C₃H_8 gas addition on the compound layer growth of steels nitrocarburised in NH₃+Air+C₃H_8 mixed gas atmospheres was investigated. It is considered that amount of residual NH₃was varied according to alternation of Air/C₃H_8 mixing ratio and volume content. The compound layer formed from nitrocarburising was composed of ε-Fe_(2-3)(C, N) and γ`-Fe₄(C, N). According as Air/C₃H_8 mixing ratio increased, the superficial content of γ`-Fe₄(C, N) within the compound layer was increased, at the same time the growth rate of compound layer and porous layer was increased. In the case of alloy steel at the fixed gas composition, the growth rate of compound layer and porous layer was worse than carbon steel and compound layer phase composition structure primarily consisted of E phase. As the carbon content of materials was increasing in the given gas atmospheres, the growth rate of compound layer and porous layer was increased and the superficial content of ε-Fe_(2-3)(C, N) within the compound layer was increased.
