사업별 융합연구 성과 실증분석 및 지원체계 개선을 위한 시사점

통합적인 관점에서 서로 다른 학문분야의 지식을 공유하는 학제간 융합연구는 복잡하고 다양한 사회문제를 해결하기 위한 중요한 연구방식으로 부각되고 있다. 그러나 이러한 융합연구의 중요성에도 불구하고, 서로 다른 지식체계 간의 공유와 협력은 용이한 일이 아니며, 특히 인문사회과학 분야의 융합연구는 그 중요성에 비해 충분히 활성화되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위하여 한국연구재단은 지속적으로 융합연구지원사업을 수행하여 왔다. 본 연구는 인문사회분야 융합연구 지원사업의 효율적인 추진과 사업의 효과성을 제고하기 위하여 각 사업별 융합연구지원 성과를 실증적으로 비교 분석하였다. 분석결과 현재 분산되어 있는 융합연구지원체계는 국내논문발표 저역서 언론보도 교육자료 활용 등의 성과에서 다른 사업들을 상회하고 있는 학제간 융합연구지원사업 중심으로 통합될 필요가 있으며, 아직 과도기 단계에 있으므로 융합연구지원은 단기적 관점이 아닌 장기적 관점에서 지속적인 관심과 지원이 이루어질 필요가 있다는 점을 강조하였다.

도로의 악영향 및 악천후로 인해 교통사고 유발, 도로변 민원 등이 다수 발생하고 있다. 악영향 및 악 천후 요인별로 보면 기상상태 악화(폭우, 폭설, 안개 등)로 인한 교통사고는 1.4% 증가하였고, 치사율도 약 3배 높은 것으로 분석되었다. 도로교통소음으로 인한 사회적 비용은 연간 34조원(2012년)으로 2005년 대비 44% 증가하였고, 민원 발생 42,000건(2009년 기준)으로 인한 사회적 손실도 증가되고 있는 실정이 나, 실질적인 소음저감 혹은 소음 측정을 위한 정량적 실험시설은 부족한 현실이다. 야간 교통량이 전체 교통량 중 차지하는 비율은 약 30% 정도임에도 불구하고 야간 사고 발생건수의 48.5%, 사망자수의 53.5%를 차지하고 있어('11년 기준), 야간 교통량 비중 감안 시 주간대비 위험도 3배에 달하나 실규모 실 증실험은 거의 전무하다. 이와 같이 도로의 악영향 및 악천후에 의한 피해는 심각한 사고 또는 피해를 입히는 것으로 나타났으 며, 이를 예방하기 위한 관련된 연구 및 기술 개발이 진행되고는 있으나 산발적이며 실증실험 등이 없어 과학적인 효과 입증이 어려운 상황이다. 한국건설기술연구원에서는 이러한 사회적 문제로 대두되고 있는 교통사고 등을 근본적으로 해결하고, 국가 기준을 재검토하여 적정 기준을 정립하기 위하여, 기상환경 재현 도로 성능평가 실험시설을 유치하 여 국토교통부 국토교통기술촉진연구사업으로 경기도 연천에 구축중에 있다. 각 실험시설의 목표 사양은 표 1과 같다. 향후 실험시설 구축뿐만 아니라 실험시설 운영계획, 연구 활용계획 및 활성화방안을 수집하여 관련 연구, 성능평가 ․ 인증 사업에 활용할 경우 국내 도로 안전 및 시설 성능 수준이 한층 높아질 것으로 기대된다.

Orbit Determination Using SLR Data for STSAT-2C: Short-arc Analysis

In this study, we present the results of orbit determination (OD) using satellite laser ranging (SLR) data for the Science and Technology Satellite (STSAT)-2C by a short-arc analysis. For SLR data processing, the NASA/GSFC GEODYN II software with one year (2013/04 – 2014/04) of normal point observations is used. As there is only an extremely small quantity of SLR observations of STSAT-2C and they are sparsely distribution, the selection of the arc length and the estimation intervals for the atmospheric drag coefficients and the empirical acceleration parameters was made on an arc-to-arc basis. For orbit quality assessment, the post-fit residuals of each short-arc and orbit overlaps of arcs are investigated. The OD results show that the weighted root mean square post-fit residuals of short-arcs are less than 1 cm, and the average 1-day orbit overlaps are superior to 50/600/900 m for the radial/cross-track/along-track components. These results demonstrate that OD for STSAT-2C was successfully achieved with cm-level range precision. However its orbit quality did not reach the same level due to the availability of few and sparse measurement conditions. From a mission analysis viewpoint, obtaining the results of OD for STSAT-2C is significant for generating enhanced orbit predictions for more frequent tracking.

In tropical geometry, the sum of two numbers is defined as the minimum, and the multiplication as the sum. As a way to build tropical plane curves, we could use Newton polygons or amoebas. We study one method to convert the representation of an algebraic variety from an image of a rational map to the zero set of some multivariate polynomials. Mikhalkin proved that complex curves can be replaced by tropical curves, and induced a combination formula which counts the number of tropical curves in complex projective plane. In this paper, we present close examinations of this particular combination formula.

In this study, orbit determination (OD) simulation for the Korea Pathfinder Lunar Orbiter (KPLO) was accomplished for investigation of the observational arc-length effect using a sequential estimation algorithm. A lunar polar orbit located at 100 km altitude and 90° inclination was mainly considered for the KPLO mission operation phase. For measurement simulation and OD for KPLO, the Analytical Graphics Inc. Systems Tool Kit 11 and Orbit Determination Tool Kit 6 software were utilized. Three deep-space ground stations, including two deep space network (DSN) antennas and the Korea Deep Space Antenna, were configured for the OD simulation. To investigate the arc-length effect on OD, 60-hr, 48-hr, 24-hr, and 12-hr tracking data were prepared. Position uncertainty by error covariance and orbit overlap precision were used for OD performance evaluation. Additionally, orbit prediction (OP) accuracy was also assessed by the position difference between the estimated and true orbits. Finally, we concluded that the 48-hr-based OD strategy is suitable for effective flight dynamics operation of KPLO. This work suggests a useful guideline for the OD strategy of KPLO mission planning and operation during the nominal lunar orbits phase.

Movements using aircraft are continuously increasing. This is because options for airlines, including eight national airlines, are becoming more diverse. In particular, FSC and LCC provide different services and prices, so it is not easy to choose, but it is analyzed that safety is the most important factor when selecting airlines in 2013 and 2017(all age groups are the same). There was a difference between 2013 and 2017 for each age group. In particular, the importance of price factors is high in 2017 compared to 2013, and other items in the 40s and 50s are also significantly changed.

In tropical geometry, the sum of two numbers is defined as the minimum, and the multiplication as the sum. We learned that dynamic programming in tropical algebraic geometry can be used to find the shortest path in graphs. We have also learned about the Bezout's Theorem, which is a theorem concerning the intersections of tropical plane curves, and the stable intersection principle.
