        하계 동중국해 북부해역에서 종속영양박테리아의 분포 특성 및 미생물 먹이망의 역할

        We investigated the spatial distribution of heterotrophic bacteria associated with different water masses in the northern East China Sea (ECS) in summer. The surface water masses were divided into the Changjiang Diluted Water (CDW) and high salinity water (HSW). In the CDW region, the concentrations of dissolved inorganic nitrogen (DIN) and chlorophyll-a (Chl-a), and micro Chl-a contribution were high; and bacterial abundance (BA) and ciliate abundance (CA) were also high. In the HSW region with relatively low DIN concentrations, Chl-a concentration and micro Chl-a contribution were low, but pico Chl-a contribution was increased compared to those in the CDW region. BA did not show any significant difference from the CDW region, but CA was decreased. BA showed a positive correlation with Chl-a concentration in the CDW region; however, it did not show a significant correlation with Chl-a concentration in the HSW region. The ratio of bacterial carbon biomass/phytoplankton carbon biomass was exponentially increased with a decrease in the Chl-a concentration. Compared to the past (1990-2000s), the surface phosphate concentrations and the size of dominant phytoplankton have recently decreased in the ECS. Considering this trend of nutrient decrease and miniaturization of the phytoplankton, our results indicate that changes in the strength of the oligotrophic water mass could alter the function of the microbial food web. 하계 동중국해 북부해역의 표층은 CDW와 HSW 해역으로 구분되며, CDW 해역은 DIN 농도, 총 Chl-a 농도 및 소형 Chl-a 비중이 높았고, 박테리아와 섬모충류 개체수도 높게 나타났다. 상대적으로 영양염 농도가 낮은 HSW 해역에서는 총 Chl-a 농도가 낮고, CDW 해역에 비해 소형 Chl-a 비중은 감소하고, 초미소 Chl-a 비중이 증가한 것으로 나타났다. 박테리아 개체수는 CDW 해역과 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았지만, 섬모충류 개체수는 감소한 것으로 나타났다. CDW 해역에서는 박테리아가 식물플랑크톤 외에도 용존유기탄소로부터 유기물을 공급받을 것으로 생각되지만, HSW 해역에서는 박테리아가 초미소식물플랑크톤으로부터 배출되는 유기물에 의존하는 것으로 나타났다. 두 해역 모두에서 박테리아와 섬모충류 간의 유의한 상관성이 관찰되지 않아, 조사해역에서는 박테리아가 섬모충류의 주요 먹이원이 아닌것으로 여겨진다. Chl-a 농도가 감소할수록 박테리아 탄소량/식물플랑크톤 탄소량이 증가했으며, 이는 영양염이 풍부한 CDW 해역에 비해 빈영양 수괴의 영향을 받은 HSW 해역에서는 미생물 먹이망의 역할이 더욱 강하게 작용한다는 것을 가리킨다. 본 연구 결과는 CDW 및 빈영양 대마난류의 세기 변화가 식물플랑크톤의 크기 및 군집 분포에 영향을 미치며, 이에 따라 해양 먹이망 내 미생물 먹이망의 기여도가 다르게 나타난다는 것을 시사한다.

        남해연안 전복양식장 퇴적물의 황산염 환원과 철 환원에 의한 유기물 분해 특성

        We investigated geochemical properties, and microbial sulfate- and iron(III) reduction in sediment influenced by the aquaculture of abalone in the Nohwa-do, southern coastal sea in Korea. Concentrations of ammonium, phosphate, and sulfide in the pore-water were higher at farm sites than at control sites. The differences between the 2 types of sites were most apparent in terms of the weights of abalone and the temperature increase during September. Accordingly, the rates of sulfate reduction at the farm sites during September (61 mmol S m−2d−1) were 3-fold higher than the sulfate reduction during May (20 mmol S m−2d−1). In contrast, Fe(III) reduction rates were highest at the control sites in May, but its significance was relatively decreased at farm sites during September when sulfate reduction rates were highest. During September, benthic ammonium flux was 3-fold greater at the farm sites (35 mmol N m−2d−1)than at the control sites (12 mmol N m−2d−1), and phosphate flux was 8-fold higher at the farm sites (0.018mmol P m−2d−1) than at control sites (0.003 mmol P m−2d−1). Overall results indicated that the inappropriate operation of a large-scale aquaculture farm may result in excess input of biodeposits and high nutrient fluxes from the sediment, thereby decreasing diversity of the benthic ecosystem and deepening eutrophication in coastal waters.

        출산모의 신체상, 어머니 역할 수행 만족도가 산후우울에 미치는 영향

        This study is a descriptive research study to identify the effects of body image and satisfaction in the role of mothers on postpartum depression. The research subjects and data collection period was from Nov. 1, 2018 to Dec. 31, 2018, and 123 mothers gave birth to normal newborn babies at the A city General Hospital. Using the SPSS 22.0 program, Collected data were analyzed by means of SPSS 22.0 program, and general traits t-test and ANOVA, post examination, Sheffe’s test, grade point average, standard deviation, Pearson’s correlation, and stepwise multiple regression. The study found that a body image and satisfaction in the role of mothers are positive correlations (r=.68, p<.001 showed a negative correlation between satisfaction in the role of mothers and postpartum depression (r=-.80, p<.001) was shown. the relationship between body image and postpartum depression (r=-.77, p<.001). The significant variables affecting postpartum depression were body Image, satisfaction in the role of mothers, family support, and relationship with husband, with 79.3% overall explanatory power. Based on this study, it is necessary to identify factors on postnatal care in pregnant mothers and to develop postpartum care programs that can improve their ability to cope with postpartum depression. 본 연구는 출산모의 신체상, 어머니 역할 수행 만족도가 산후우울에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구대상자 및 자료수집 기간은 2018년 11월 1일부터 12월 31까지였고, 연구대상자는 A시 종합병원에서 정상신생아를 출산한 산모 123명이었다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 22.0 program을 활용하여 일반적인 특성은 t-test, ANOVA, 사후 검정은 sheffe’s test, 평균평점, 표준편차, Pearson’s correlation, stepwise multiple regression으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과 대상자의 신체상과 어머니 역할 수행 만족도는 양의 상관관계(r=.68, p<.001)를 보였고, 어머니 역할 수행 만족도와 산후우울은 음의 상관관계(r=-.80, p<.001)를 보였다. 신체상과 산후우울은 음의 상관관계(r=-.77, p<.001)가 있었다. 출산모의 산후우울에 영향을 미치는 유의한 변수는 신체상, 어머니 역할 수행 만족도, 가족의지지, 남편과의 관계였고 전체 설명력은 79.3%이었다. 본 연구를 바탕으로 출산모의 산후우울에 미치는 요인을 파악하고, 산후우울 대처능력을 향상시킬 수 있는 산후관리 프로그램의 개발이 필요하다.

        점액성 변형의 부신 피질 암종 - 1예 보고 -

        Myxoid variant of adrenal cortical carcinoma is extremely rare and there have been only 16 such cases reported in the medical literature. Here we report on a case of 43-year-old woman with a left adrenal mass that was detected during the evaluation for Cushing’s syndrome. Left adrenalectomy was performed and the tumor weighed 347 g. The cut surface was predominantly myxoid and gelatinous with central hemorrhage and necrosis. Histologically, the tumor cells were rather small, uniform and polygonal with mild pleomorphism. It showed diverse morphologic patterns according to the amount of the myxoid stromal component. Making the diagnosis was not easy because the tumor was without areas of conventional adrenocortical carcinoma. Immunohistochemically, the tumor cells were positive for α-inhibin, synaptophysin and vimentin, but the tumor cells were negative for pan-cytokeratin and CAM 5.2. The immunophenotypes were identical to those of conventional adrenal cortical neoplasms. During the evaluation of a cytokeratin-negative and vimentin-positive retroperitoneal neoplasm with a myxoid component, the possibility of adrenal cortical tumor should be considered in spite that this is a very rare entity.

        Controlled-crystallinity of SiO2/TiO2 hollow nanoparticles and their electroresponsive behaviors

        Titania has been frequently used as an electrorheological (ER) particle in ER fluids owing to its highdielectric constant. Additionally, titania possesses the ability to control the crystallinity range of particles. In this study, we investigated the effect of crystallinity control ability of titania on the performance of ERfluids, by adjusting the crystallinity of SiO2/TiO2 hollow nanoparticles (HNPs) through heat treatment attemperatures 200, 900, 1000, and 1100 C. The morphologies of the pristine and heat-treated HNPs confirmedby transmission electron microscopy (TEM) images, and HNP treated at 1100 C exhibited the largestgrain size. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns confirmed that as the annealing temperatureincreased, the crystallinity of titania increased, resulting in sharper, stronger characteristic peaks. Furthermore, it is revealed that variations in the crystalline structure and shell thickness induced changesin ER properties such as the loss tangent and charge accumulation. The loss tangent decreased with anincrease in grain size considering the decrease in charge accumulation sites. To the best of our knowledge,this is the first study to report this novel insight, and it can be applied to subsequent studies forachieving high ER performance, and thus, realizing practical commercialization of ER fluids.
