중도입국 청소년의 정의적 요인이 한국어 숙달도에 미치는 영향

This study investigated the effects of self-esteem, self-efficacy, and anxiety on the Korean language proficiency of immigrant adolescents. Rosenberg(1965)’s RSES, Kim & Park(2001)’s ASES, Horwitz et el.(1986)’s FLCAS, and Lee-Ellis(2009)’s Korean C-test were employed to conduct surveys with 79 immigrant adolescents in a high school. To analyze the data, frequency analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis, and t test were used. The study found: (1) Immigrant adolescents had lower self-esteem, higher self-efficacy, and lower anxiety than any other language learners. Male immigrant adolescents preferred a higher task difficulty compared to their female counterparts. (2) Self-esteem and self-efficacy(self-confidence) were positively correlated with Korean language proficiency, and language anxiety was negatively correlated. (3) Self-esteem, self-confidence, and anxiety were factors affecting Korean language proficiency.

Eosinophilic cholecystitis (EC) is a rare form of acute cholecystitis, of which diagnosis is based on classical symptoms of cholecystitis with a presence of >90% eosinophilic infiltration within the gall bladder. EC rarely manifests in idiopathic hypereosinophilic syndrome (IHES). Here, we report two cases of EC with IHES. One is a 57-year-old male who presented with acute right upper quadrant (RUQ) pain, jaundice and fever. The initial peripheral blood eosinophil count was 2,070/mm3, and further elevated to 12,590/mm3. Acute acalculous cholecystitis with cholangitis was confirmed by computed tomography (CT). He improved with endocopic nasobiliary drainage and antibiotic therapy. The other is a 64-year-old female who presented with acute RUQ pain. She also complained of dyspnea and tingling sensation of both hands and feet. The initial peripheral blood eosinophil count was 10,400/mm3. Abdominal CT revealed findings suggestive of acute acalculous cholecystitis. She improved with systemic glucocorticosteroid therapy. No other causes of hypereosinophilia were found in either patients. Thus, cholecystectomy may not be mandatory for the treatment of EC with IHES. (Allergy Asthma Respir Dis 2014;2:222-226)

시지각 특성과 시선운동 원리를 활용한 미술 감상 방법과 교육 프로그램에 관한 연구

시지각 원리의 교육은 심리학에만 국한되지 않고 미술 감상 교육에도 필요한 학습 과정이다. 하지만 아직까지도 미술 수업을 표현 활동으로 인식하기 때문에 국내 미술 교육에서 감상 활동은 축소되거나 원활히 이루어지고 있지 않다. 따라서 감상에 동기 부여를 제공하고 정규 미술 교육을 받지 않은 학습자들에게도 감상에 대한 부담을 줄여주는 미술 감상 교육 프로그램이 필요하다. 이러한 필요성에 의해 본 논문에서는 미술 작품의 이해를 위해 시지각 원리를 학습하여 새로운 작품을 구상하고 표현하는 활동과 다양한 미술 작품에 대입시켜 감상하는 활동을 제안한다. 먼저 미술 표현에서의 시선운동의 개념과 시선 추적 실험 결과를 통해 얻은 시지각 원리의 특징을 서술하였다. 그리고 시지각 원리와 시선운동과의 연관성을 찾기 위해 이를 기반으로 회화 작품 해석에 사용되는 시선운동을 분석하였다. 최종적으로 펠드먼 비평 양식을 도입하여 시지각 원리를 학습할 수 있는 미술 감상 프로그램을 제안한다. 그리고 3장에서 분석한 두 개의 회화작품을 제안한 미술 감상 프로그램에 적용한 예시를 제시한다. Learning the principles of perception belongs to both the psychology and art field. However, people define that an art education is an activity of expression, so an activity of an art appreciation is either downsized or hardly proceeded in an art class. Therefore, the art appreciation educational program that gives a motivation to appreciate the work of art and to minimize a burden towards the activity of an art appreciation is needed. This paper proposes an educational program that includes activities to appreciate the work of art using the principles of perception and to create personal portfolios. Also, we analyze the eye movement of the paintings according to the principles of perception. Finally, proposes the art appreciation education program based on Feldman’s critique method. In addition, we illustrate the example of the proposed art appreciation educational program with the analyzed paintings from section III.
아동의 조사(助詞)학습을 위한 딕토글로스를 활용한 수업 실행 연구

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of Dictogloss Instruction on the grammar education for beginner class, foreign language elementary school students, with the aim to acquire Korean language grammatical knowledge. This is a case study on Korean class for foreign students. The course is designed for 8-weeks, with students who are in the fourth grade of the elementary school in an international school. The classes are designed and presented in stages. The attempts of grammatical education is not easy for the characteristics and age of these learners. This is a qualitative study that describes the process and results. Dictogloss teaching activities are interesting for learners who lack concentration at elementary age. It is meaningful in terms of learning effect rather than simple knowledge transfer. It is a study showing the justification for the need. This study suggests that Korean language education as a foreign language should be gradually developed through specific teaching methods and suggests that it will help to establish criteria for further class search and application.

The occurrence of valporic acid (VPA)-induced pancreatitis is a rare condition, predominantly observed in adolescent. Also, the occurrence of VPA-associated with hemorrhagic pseudocyst is extremely rare. We report the case of a 54-year-old man who had been taking VPA for uncontrolled seizures. He was admitted to our hospital with complaints of abdominal pain and diagnosed with acute on chronic pancreatitis. There were no other causes explaining pancreatitis, and it was thought to be due to VPA therapy. Despite of cessation of VPA, there was ongoing severe abdominal pain with fever. The patient underwent follow-up CT, which revealed a large loculated fluid collection that was observed with intra-cystic hemorrhage. After treatment with percutaneous catheter drainage, he was discharged with regression of the pancreatic pseudocyst. VPA-associated pancreatitis with hemorrhagic pseudocyst is rare but possible. Therefore, this possibility should be considered in the cause of hemorrhagic pseudocyst in a patient taking VPA. Korean J Pancreatobiliary 2014;19(4):194-198
PEARLS 적용 디브리핑 성찰일지에 대한 내용분석: 미숙아 대상자 간호를 중심으로

Purpose : This study aims to analyze the reflection journals of nursing students using the PEARLS (Promoting Excellence and Reflective Learning in Simulation) debriefing method during simulation practice and to verify the learning effects of debriefing through these journals. Methods : This descriptive study analyzed the content of reflection journals written by 60 fourth-year nursing students who participated in a simulation practice on nursing care for premature infants. Data collection occurred from June 10 to June 13, 2024. The reflection journals, structured into four stages — response, description, analysis, and application/summary — were analyzed to gain insight into the students' experiences with the PEARLS debriefing method. Results : The response stage revealed five categories of experiences related to the simulation practice. The description stage was divided into four categories of awareness of the overall scenario, three categories of priority planning, and four categories of nursing interventions. The analysis stage was categorized into three groups: confident performances, underperformances, and five other related categories. Finally, the application/summary stage highlighted five categories of learning outcomes derived from the simulation. Conclusion : Writing reflection journals using the PEARLS debriefing method during simulation practice fosters reflective learning. It holds educational significance by encouraging students to reassess their actions and decision-making processes, thereby gaining a deeper understanding of clinical situations.
