The objective of this research is to develop a least cost system design method for branched storm sewer systems while satisfying all the design constraints using heuristic techniques such as genetic algorithm and harmony search. Two sewer system models have been developed in this study. The SEWERGA and SEWERHS both determine the optimal discrete pipe installation depths as decision variables. Two models also determine the optimal diameter of sewer pipes using the discrete installation depths of the pipes while satisfying the discharge and velocity requirement constraints at each pipe. Two models are applied to the example that was originally solved by Mays and Yen (1975) using their dynamic programming(DP). The optimal costs obtained from SEWERGA and SEWERHS are about 4% lower than that of the DP approach.
한중FTA 이후 중국 해외건설업의 규제실태와 진출 활성화 방안 연구

본 연구에서는 최근 중국의 여건변화에 대응하여 중국 현지 진출 국내업체를 대상으로 설문 면담조사와 전문가 조사를 통해 애로사항 및 중국 건설시장 진출 활성화를 위한 요구사항을 분석하였다. 이와 더불어 경제적 유발계수 모형을 이용하여 국내 경제에 파급효과가 큰 부문을 분석하여 진출전략 방안을 제시하였다. 중국시장에 진출해 있는 우리 건설업체들은 면허요건 등의 완화에도 불구하고 여전히 면허 유지에 부담이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 특히 외상투자제도로 인해 시장진입이 어려운 것으로 분석되었다. 재정사업 참여가 거의 불가능하고 PPP사업도 용이하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 아울러 중국과의 FTA에 큰 기대를 할 수 없지만, 향후 GPA 협상 등을 통해 우리 업체들의 애로 요인을 제거 내지 감소시키기 위한 정부의 노력이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 향후 중국건설시장 진출 활성화를 위해서는 경제적 유발계수 모형분석을 통해 한 중 업체간 협력모델이 활성화가 필요한 것으로 분석되었다. 중국이 우리의 협력을 원하는 분야, 즉 신형도시화, 환경, 수처리 등에서의 협력 모델을 기반으로 중국업체와의 장기적인 동반사업 모델을 구축해나가는 것이 필요하다. 두 번째로 시장진출 활성화를 위한 정부의 지속적인 노력이 필요하다. GATS 서비스 협상에서 중국의 추가적 시장개방을 요구하고 향후 GPA 협상에서 중국의 정부조달 시장개방을 요구해야 한다. 특히 외국업체의 단독 수주가 가능하도록 노력해야 한다. 셋째로 우리 건설기업들은 국제기구 사업에 참여 등을 통해 중국내에서 유대관계 구축에 힘써야 한다. 국제개발은행 등의 프로젝트에 대한 모니터링하고 실제 사업에 참여하기 위해 노력해야 한다. This study analyzes difficulties of enterprise activities in Chinese construction market by surveys on early entrants and interviews with experts. This study also suggests future strategy to enter the market by using inducement coefficient model. Korean construction companies in China are under heavy pressure to maintain requirement of licenses, despite recent deregulation. They are in dire predicament for market entry due to the Foreign Direct Investment System. It is almost impossible to participate in public projects and also it is not easy to do PPP projects. Therefore, Korean government should make more efforts to solve those issues through negotiations in FTA and GPA. For future expansion in Chinese construction market, it is highly recommended to boost cooperation models between Korea and China according to the empirical results of inducement coefficient model. Korean companies should collaborate with Chinese companies in some fields: smart city, environment and water treatment. Also, Korean government should support Korean companies by diplomatic means such as requesting for further opening of China's market. In GPA or GATS negotiation, Korean government should ask Chinese government that Korean companies can obtain order independently (without joint venture with Chinese companies) in China. Lastly, Korean construction companies should participate in construction projects ordered by international organizations such as ADB, AIIB.
동북아시아의 세력균형과 군사력 수준 변화 연구: 세력균형이론에 기초한 2030년경의 동북아시아 안보환경 전망

This study examines the distribution of power in Northeast Asia based on the balance of power theory, a representative theory of realism, assuming military capabilities as the core power of states. The results of previous studies on the balance of power and military forces are reviewed and used to analyze changes in the strength of the US, China, Russia, Japan, South Korea, and North Korea through 2020 to predict the security environment in 2030. In the balance of power theory, if the balance of power between a nation or a group of powers collapses, the possibility of war is high, and to survive in the international community with high uncertainty and distrust, the theory predicts that states must increase their powers in a self-help world and strengthen cooperation and alliance. Countries in Northeast Asia are also continuing to strengthen their military capabilities, and countries neighboring China are paying keen attention and remaining vigilant due to the rapid changes in the international security environment after the rapid rise of China. To mark the future 100th anniversary of the Chinese armed forces in the 2030s, China aims to realize 'defense and military modernization' and build a 'world-class military force' by the nation's 100th anniversary in the 2050s. The US is busy checking China's rise by strengthening international cooperation and alliances. The security environment and power dynamics in Northeast Asia are slowly changing as the US and China continue to compete for global hegemony. The changes and implications of the distribution of power in Northeast Asia after 2030 are examined based on the balance of power theory.

Cavernous angiomas are being increasingly well recognized throughout the central nervous system due to the widespread use of magnetic resonance imaging(MRI). However, these malformations are uncommon in the spinal column and rarely occur in the spinal cord. Here, we report a case of a cervical cord intramedullary cavernous angioma in a 49-year-old man. The patient had complained of left upper extremity paresthesia and weakness in the left hand for 5 days prior to admission. A neurological examination showed a left C-6 dermatome paresthesia and a weakness in the left hand grasping power. A MRI demonstrated a mixed signal intensity core at the C-5 level and a surrounding edema on the T-2 weighted image. Conservatively, a laminectomy was performed and slightly hard and well demarcated intramedullary mass was removed. A histological examination confirmed the diagnosis of a cavernous angioma.

The purpose of this study was to examine the statements characteristics of the pressure ulcer nursing record by natural langage processing and assess the prediction accuracy for each pressure ulcer stage. Nursing records related to pressure ulcer were analyzed using descriptive statistics, and word cloud generators (http://wordcloud.kr) were used to examine the characteristics of words in the pressure ulcer prevention nursing records. The accuracy ratio for the pressure ulcer stage was calculated using deep learning. As a result of the study, the second stage and the deep tissue injury suspected were 23.1% and 23.0%, respectively, and the most frequent key words were erythema, blisters, bark, area, and size. The stages with high prediction accuracy were in the order of stage 0, deep tissue injury suspected, and stage 2. These results suggest that it can be developed as a clinical decision support system available to practice for nurses at the pressure ulcer prevention care.

The dental caries survey of "K" primary school children was performed twice for one year interval and evaluated the transitional trend of dental caries prevalences. The number of children surveyed at the first year, 1973, was 819 boys and 653 girls; and the second year, 1974, was 815 boys and 661 girls aged 6 to 12. Under this survey, the following results were detected: 1. The average df person rate in deciduous teeth was increased by 7.52% in boy, 5.59% in girl and 6.65% of both. 2. The average df Index in deciduous teeth was increased by 0.13 in boy, 0.04 in girl and 0.1 of both. The average dt Index was decreased by 0.59 in boy, 0.64 in girl and 0.61 of both. The average ft Index was increased by 0.73 in boy, 0.68 in girl and 0.71 of both. 3. There showed no significant differences in DMF person rate between 1973 and 1974. 4. The DMFT Index of the permanent teeth was decreased by 0.19 in boy, and increased by 0.22 in girl. There showed no significant differences in both sexes between 1973 and 1974. The average DT Index was decreased by 0.43 in boy, 0.03 in girl and 0.31 of both. The average FT Index was increased by 0.23 in boy; 0.35 in girl and 0.29 of both. The average MT Index showed no significant differences in both sexes between 1973 and 1974.

To understand the basic relationship between 3D curved surface model and 2D pattern, simplified torso model was generated by commercial CAD program (IDEAS). 3D torso model was then divided into different blocks and unfolded into a flat pattern as in ordinary works of clothing item design. As results, 2D pattern development of different part of 3D torso model was attempted and analyzed mathematically. It was found that different height, radius and tangent slope of 3D blocks resulted in different 2D pattern. The relationships between the shape parameters of 3D torso blocks and those of 2D patterns were analyzed using regression equations. Direct way of drawing a 2D pattern of corresponding 3D torso block was also illustrated for the convenience of pattern making using conventional measurements of upper/ lower radii and height of 3D torso block.
