A method to manufacture aluminium(Al) fiber using powder extrusion technology and its nonwoven fabric was investigated. The fiber diameter(d) was determined by Al powder diameter(D) and extrusion ratio(ER). A good correlation between theoretical equation, d=1.15D/$(ER)^{1/2}$ and experimental value was obtained. The sub-micron scale Al fiber was also made by repeated extrusion. Two different bonding techniques, i.e., sintering and inorganic additive bonding methods were empolyed. For the production of Al nonwoven fabric, the latter method has many advantages, including lower process temperature, process simplicity, and productivity. Unlike the general characteristics of nonwoven fabrics produced by conventional bonding processes, the mechanical property of Al nonwoven fabric was relatively low. To enhance the property, the modification of web carding and bonding system is necessary.

Purpose: Small calibered prosthetic vascular grafts are prone to low patency rates after bypass surgery due to its high thrombogenicity and neointimal hyperplasia. Endothelial cells are known to inhibit thrombus formations, platelet aggregation and smooth muscle cells proliteration. The purpose of this study was to examine the development of autologous endothelial cell seeded prosthetic vascular graft. Method: The autologous endothelial cells (ECs) were harvested from canine external jugular veins. Approximately 5*10^4 ECs were obtained through passage 5 to 6 under the static condition. The cultured ECs were seeded into the polytetrafluoroethylenc (PTFE) graft and cultured for 3 days before implanting into the canine carotid artery.The PTFE graft was harvested at 6 weeks after implantation. Result: The primary cultured ECs were treated with Factor VⅢ/WF, CD3]/PECAM-1 antibodyand confirmed with fluorescence micrograph, The gratf patency rates were 2/6 (33%) in the control gratf and 5/6 (83%) in the ECs seeded graft at 6 weeks after implantation. the entire luminal surface of the EC seeded graft was covered with ECs. Only the vicinity of the anastomosis site was covered with ECs in the control graft. Conclusion: This is a pilot study for the development of autologous endothelial cell seeded prosthetic vascular graft. The results of our study demonstrate that the endothelialized PTFE are better than ninendothelialized PTFE.
비균열 콘크리트에 매립된 발전설비 정착부 선 설치 앵커의 구조성능 평가

The seismic performance and stability of operating facilities installed in domestic power plants need to be verified because of the increased incidence of earthquakes resulting in power plant damage due to the overturning failure of electric operating facilities. In this study, a structural performance evaluation of the anchor bolts constructed to setup the operating facilities on concrete slabs was carried out through an on-site inspection of power plants, called Daechung-Dam. M10 J hook and M12 J hook anchor bolts were installed in the field unit. According to the ASTM E 488-96 specifications, anchor bolt pullout and shear tests were carried out and compared with the anchor-bolt design standards. The results from the tension and shear pullout tests showed that the M10 and M12 J hook anchor bolts had higher performance than the required design load. Thus, they were found to be safe enough. Nevertheless, more research in the field of analytical study will be needed in the near future. 과거 지진 발생으로 인하여 발전소 내 전력 운용설비의 전도로 인한 피해가 크게 발생하여 이에 대한 국내 발전소 운용설비 정착부에 대한 내진 안정성 평가는 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 현재 국내 발전소 내 설치된 발전설비 현장조사를 통하여 콘크리트 슬래브에 설치된 발전설비 정착부 앵커볼트의 구조성능을 평가하였다. 대상구조물인 대청댐의 경우, 고정부 설치용으로 선 설치 앵커볼트가 사용되었으며 규격은 M10 J형 선설치 앵커볼트와 M12 J형 선설치 앵커볼트로 시공되었다. ASTM E 488-96 기준을 고려하여 앵커볼트 인발 및 전단 성능평가를 수행하였으며 평가된 앵커볼트의 성능을 국내외 설계기준(KCI 2012, ACI 318, EOTA TR45)과 비교, 분석하였다. 그 결과 M10, M12 J형 선설치 앵커볼트들은 모두 설계하중 값보다 높게 저항하는 것으로 나타나 현재 시공 상태가 설계기준은 충분히 만족하다는 결과를 얻었다. 하지만 이는 실험적 평가를 통한 결과일 뿐이므로 향후 수치해석 평가를 통하여 보다 폭넓게 분석될 필요가 있을 것으로 판단된다.
