The services in one particular network are deployed in accordance to its specific call model. Consequently, there are different implementations of a service in different networks. The proposed Generic Call Model and the Layered Call Processing Architecture are intended to deploy new applications easily and effectively while being transparent from the evolving network technologies. In particular, the Generic Call Model, represents a call model on generic networks as logical network providing network functions for services independent of the employed network technologies. If the service provider can deploy services on the generic call model, users can use the same application in the same manner as in any other networks. The Layered Call Processing Architecture is the means to convert a generic call to the specific call provisional to the employed network technologies. Essentially, the proposed architecture is aimed to guarantee the users' QoS in the integrated network environment. Many research activities concerned with network interoperability have focused merely on the connectivity, unable to provide guarantee on the users' QoS. The overall objective of the proposed generic call model and layered call processing architecture is to provide an ability to integrate dissimilar networks such as telecommunication networks, computer networks, mobile networks, satellite networks, etc. to achieve seamless communication.
DHCP에서 그룹별 동적 주소할당과 내부자 보안위협 해소 방안

The Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol(DHCP) provides a framework for passing configuration information to hosts on the Internet. However it has two serious problems, one is that it has the weakness against an insider threat, and another is that it has no mechanism for dynamic allocation to host groups. The authentication for DHCP messages can solve those problems, but it requires the modification of both DHCP clients and server. There are so many clients in the network, so we cannot upgrade all clients in a short time. In this paper, I present a new short-time solution that requires only the modification of DHCP server and the DHCP server-monitor.
Gelation of Graphene Oxide Colloids Induced by Mild Thermal Annealing

Graphene oxide (GO) exhibits good dispersibility and colloidal stability in an aqueous solution based on its functional groups on the basal plane and edges. These properties enable solution processing of GO for various forms of GO-based products such as fiber, membrane, aerogel, etc. In the processing of these applications, controlling the colloidal properties of GO dispersion is essential as they can ultimately change the physical property of GO products. For example, gelation of GO colloids can dramatically increase the mechanical modulus of GO fiber. Here, we propose a strategy to induce the gelation of GO and thus form a network structure via mild thermal annealing. The mild thermal annealing retains the functionality of GO but induces gelation without any additives, which can expand its applicability to various GO gel state-based processing such as 3D printing and dry spinning.

Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) is the most widely-used network management protocol on TCP/IP-based networks. The functionality of SNMP was enhanced with the publication of SNMPsec, SNMPv2p, SNMPv2c, SNMPv2u, SNMPv2*. However, both these versions of SNMP lack security features. The SNMPv3 corrects this deficiency. This article outlines the development process of SNMPv3, overall network management framework defined in SNMPv3, and then looks at the principal security facilities defined in SNMPv3: authentication, privacy, and access control.
스마트 항로표지 인터페이스 플랫폼 기술 요구사항 표준화 방안

‘스마트 항로표지 현장시설 고도화 연구’를 통해 다양한 센서를 통해 해상 데이터를 수집하고, 이를 가공하여 선박과 육상 연계시 스템에 전파하는 방안이 논의되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 특정 업체에 종속되지 않고 미래 기술 발전에 유연한 대응이 가능하도록 스마트 항로 표지 인터페이스 플랫폼에 대한 기술 요구사항의 표준화 방안을 정리한다. 이미 정의된 표준 구문은 그대로 수용하고, 신규 센서의 경우 관련 구문을 새로 정의하여 표준화하며 장치들을 직집 연결하거나 망 접속을 통해 연결하기 위해 정의되어야 하는 사안들을 정리한다.
국내 매입 말뚝 관리를 위한 항타공식 활용 가능성 평가 및 제안에 관한 연구

In accordance with Korean structural foundation design standards, dynamic or static load tests are mandated for 1 to 3% of total piles. The construction quality of the remaining 97% to 99% of piles is determined through penetration measurements. This study aims to enhance the quality control of the majority of piles by adopting a pile driving formula that considers both penetration and hammer energy. The current challenge lies in adapting existing overseas driving formulas to the domestic site conditions, characterized by shallow weathered or soft rocks, and the prevalent use of pre-bored piles. To address this, the Modified Gates formula was refined using domestic dynamic load data, thereby improving its applicability to pile management. Despite employing fewer variables, the proposed formula demonstrates a comparable accuracy to dynamic loading tests in predicting the bearing capacity of pre-bored piles. Consequently, this formula holds promise for practical use in future pile quality management.
