다양한 탄소전극조합에 따른 미생물 연료전지의 전기발생량 및 미생물 군집변화

미생물 연료전지의 전극소재는 전기발생량에 영향을 미치는 중요인자이다. 본 연구에서는 탄소전극의 두께 구조가 미생물 연료전지의 전력밀도 미생물 형성 미생물 군집의 다양성에 미치는 영향에 관해 연구를 수행하였다. 산화 환원 전극조합의 능률적인 구성을 위해 다양한 형태의 탄소전극으로 이루어진 7개 실험실 규모의 반응기가 연속식 공정으로 운전되었다. 반응기의 안정화 상태에서 구멍이 있는 흑연펠트(6 mm 두께) 조합이 전기발생량 238 mV, 그리고 쿨롱효율이 37%로 가장 높은 셀 성능을 나타내었다. 산화전극 표면에 미생물의 생성을 관찰하기 위해 SEM 촬영을 실시한 결과, 니트형태의 탄소섬유와 흑연펠트의 표면에 미생물양의 생성이 증가함을 관찰할 수 있었다. 식종 슬러지와 산화전극 부착성장 미생물의 우점종 변화를 관찰하기 위해 PCR-DGGE를 통한 미생물 군집해석 결과, 식종슬러지내의 미생물 군집과 운전 후 각 전극에 우점화 된 미생물의 군집에는 차이를 보였다. 특히 흑연펠트의 탄소섬유에 전기활성 박테리아로 알려진 eobacter 종이 우점화 된 것을 확인할 수 있었다. The electrode material is one of the factors affecting the power production of microbial fuel cell. In this study, effects of carbon electrode material, thickness and configuration on the power density, biofilm formation and microbial community diversity of microbial fuel cell were investigated. To optimize the anode-cathode electrode assembly, seven lab-scale reactors which had various carbon electrode constructions were operated in continuous mode. Under the steady state condition, the electrode combination of graphite felt (6 mm) with hole showed the highest cell voltage of 238 mV and the coulombic efficiency of 37%. As a result of SEM analysis, the bacteria growing on surface of knitted type of carbon cloth and graphite felt electrode ncreased significantly. The change of dominant species between seeding sludge and biofilm on the surface of anode electrode, microbial analysis with PCR-DGGE showed that the dominant species of seeding sludge are quite different from those of biofilm on the surface of each anode electrode. Especially Geobacter sp., a well known electrochemical bacteria, was found as the dominant species of the electrode combination with graphite felt.
Protective layer technology for improving the cycle of Li-S based on high DN salt electrolyte

Uncontrolled growth of insulating lithium sulfide leads to pasivation of sulfur cathodes, which limits high sulfur utilization in lithium-sulfur batteries. Sulfur utilization can be augmented in electrolytes based on solvents with high Gutmann Donor Number; however, violent lithium metal corrosion is a drawback. A salt anion with a high donor number such as bromide or triflate can show better stability with lithium metal and high sulfur utilization. However, instability with lithium metal still remain compared to lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide. Herein we report that why a salt anion with a high donor number have less stability at lithium anode and combination strategy can solve this problem.

These days makeup is a very important element within the performing arts on the stage. At first stage makeup was popularized, commercialized and modernized and it is being elaborated and specialized with the variation of performing arts. With performing arts advancing at a fast-growing rate, makeup has become an important expression element in performance. The degree of makeup completion effects the image of the whole performance and it decides success or failure of the performance. Makeup is one of the tools which make the performer abandon his or her own personality and become the right character for the performance. For this reason, makeup plays an important role. In addition, makeup is important not only for the audience but also for the performers` psychological view. Even though the performers have good acting skills, the lack of makeup can affect the whole performance negatively. Result of this, performers can`t deliver what they want to say and the evaluation of whole performance from the audience will be low Stage makeup is different from general makeup and photograph`s makeup. Stage makeup requires a fixed distance from the audience and controlled intensity of light and colors. Based on the size of theater, the makeup has to be changed and based on the changes of light, the color of makeup has to be changed. For this reason, stage makeup requires an artist who has a full understanding of various theories, a lot of skills and field experience. This study is comparing the performances of human emotions, such as joy, anger, sorrow and pleasure with and without makeup. When it is compared, basic techniques of makeup are focused and makeup is done based on color psychology and changes of appearance such as eyebrow, eye, nose and lips. The purpose of this study is to suggest a new makeup technique about human feelings such as joy, anger, sorrow and pleasure. As suggesting this, more logical and systematic reasons for makeup skills can be presented.
선박 평형수 내 총 잔류 산화물(Total Residual Oxidant) 분석을 위한 Potassium Iodide (KI) Sensor 적용가능성 평가

Potassium iodide (KI) TRO sensor에 의한 선박평형수의 살균 및 중화배출 기준이 되는 총 잔류 산화물(TRO)의 농도분석 적용 가능성을 검토하였다. UV 흡수파장 도출시험 및 흡광도 분석결과 350 ㎚ 단일파장에서 TRO 농도에 대한 흡광도 값은 높은 상관관계(r² = 0.9825)를 가지며 흡광도 값의 TRO 농도(0.1~7.0 ㎎/L) 수치화가 가능하였다. 상기 시험결과를 토대로 KI 기반의 센서 시스템 구축을 통해 기존의 센서(DPD 기반 시스템)와의 TRO 농도측정 비교결과 동일한 경향의 측정값이 도출되었으며, KI TRO 센서 시스템이 선박평형수 내 연속 TRO 측정장치로 적용할 수 있는 가능성이 있다고 판단하였다. Potassium iodide (KI) TRO sensor for measuring total residual oxidant which is an index for disinfection and neutralization in ballast water has been constructed. The results of UV absorption wavelength and absorbance test in various TRO concentrations show high linear correlation (r² = 0.9825) at 350 ㎚ wavelengths and it can be possible to visualize numerical value of TRO concentration (0.1~7.0 ㎎/L). The result of comparison test according to TRO concentration between the KI based TRO sensor system and the DPD based TRO sensor system showed identical trend. Overall results indicated that the KI TRO sensing system could be applied for continuous TRO concentration measurement in ballast water treatment system.

This study aimed at expressing the Korean traditional painting pattern, which has an identity of our nation and corresponds to native sense of aesthetics and national emotion, as new sense and techniques and art makeup illustration, which can harmonize both visual and tactile texture, and expressing competitive and differentiated Korean beauty for coping with globalization and establishing cultural identity and values native to our nation. For this, in this study, the characteristics of art makeup illustration on the basis of inquiries into art makeup, illustration, collage techniques and Korean traditional painting pattern were analyzed through documentary and preceding researches. In particular, a motive was brought from various painting patterns by putting stress on color and formative beauty among characteristics of Korean traditional painting pattern, and by using a computer graphic program, Photoshop 7.0 Program of Adobe company, a pattern was transformed and reconstructed to maximumly express formative beauty, and a painting pattern was reconstructed and simplified, so that the art makeup illustration become an image that enable solutions leading to originality, artistry and legitimacy. The art makeup illustration was also made as collage techniques such as Papier colle, Ready made, Photo montage, Frottage, Assemblage and Decalcomanie using various objets such as lotus leaves, tree pattern orders and Korean papers dyed 5 colors of yellow, blue, white, red and black suited with painting patterns to widen the choice of makeup design, and to complete a work of art makeup illustration into the original and liberal formative world. Consequently, the core of this study is to introduce a traditional cultural material, painting pattern to the makeup illustration, and design the modernization of traditional, which can satisfied with both the peculiarity of traditional beaut, and modern and international sympathies, having the competitive power in the globalization of art and culture.
