(연구배경 및 목적) 노인들은 노화가 진행되더라도 가능하다면 자신이 살던 주택과 지역사회에 살기를 원하며, 이러한 노인들의 Aging in place 욕구 실현을 위해서는 무엇보다 노인의 노화 특성을 반영한 주택개조가 필수적이다. 그러나 지금까지 우리나라의 노화 대응 주택개조 수행은 활성화되지 못한 편이며, 특히 노인의 노화 정도, 자립수준과 주택 내 행위 특성을 고려한 맞춤형 주택개조는 이루어지지 못하고 있다. 본 연구는 노인 맞춤형 주택개조 수행의 필요성을 인식하고 주택 내 노인 행위 시나리오에 기반한 주택개조 매뉴얼을 개발하였으며, 주택 내 노인 행위 기반 주택개조 매뉴얼 개발의 구체적인 과정과 그 차별성을 제시하는 것이 목적이다. (연구방법) 실효성 있는 주택개조 수행을 위해서는 고령자의 주택 내 행위특성과 공간과의 연계성을 고려한 통합적 접근이 필요하다. 이를 위해 노인의 주택에 방문하여 행위 관찰조사를 실시하였고, 노인의 공간 사용에 있어서 다양한 상황과 행위 수행의 어려움을 조사하였다. 퍼소나 기반 시나리오 기법을 활용하여 총 5단계의 과정을 거쳐 노인 행위 시나리오 기반 주택개조 매뉴얼을 개발하였다. (결과) 노인의 주택 내 생활행위 심층 조사를 통해 노인의 신체 특성 및 각 행위 특성과 주택 내 이동방법을 기준으로 노인을 6집단으로 유형화하였고, 유형화 결과를 활용하여 노인 퍼소나를 개발하였다. 6가지 퍼소나별 8개 행위 시나리오를 개발하였으며 주택개조 관점에서 시나리오 행위별 생활상의 문제 및 문제발생요인을 도출하였다. 마지막으로 행위별 생활상의 문제에 대응하기 위한 개조요소를 도출하여 최종적으로 주택 내 행위를 기반한 노인 주택개조 매뉴얼을 개발하였다. (결론) 본 연구는 퍼소나 기반 시나리오 방법론을 적용하여 주택개조 요소들을 도출하는 과정을 구체적으로 제시하였다. 이 자료는 주거공간연구에서 퍼소나 기반 시나리오 방법론 적용 가능성을 파악하였다는 점과 관련 연구자 및 실무자에게 매뉴얼 개발 과정을 실증적으로 보여줬다는 것에 의의가 있다. 또한 기존의 주거공간별로 건축적 요소 그 자체의 성능과 디자인을 개선하는 방식이 아닌 거주자의 행위를 지원할 수 있도록 공간성능을 향상시킨다는 접근방식을 적용하여 거주자 중심의 주택개조 가능성을 보여줬다는 것에 의의가 있다. (Background and Purpose) The elderly want to live in their homes and communities if possible, even if aging progresses, and to realize these elderly people's need for Aging in Place, home modification which reflects the aging charateristics is essential. However, the implementation of home modification for the elderly has not been activated. Therefore, recognizing the need to develop a home modification manual for the elderly to enhance the effectiveness of home modification for the elderly, the researchers of this study developed a home modification manual based on the scenario of elderly behaviors in their housing. The purpose of this study is to show the specific process of developing this manual. (Method) Effective home modification requires an integrated approach to the behavior characteristics and physical space. A one-on-one interview survey and an observation survey for identifying elders’ behaviors in a residential area were conducted to collect data, such as the situation and problems of the elders' behavior, in order to develop a persona-based scenario. Persona-based scenario method was applied to identify various situations in older residents’ space use and difficulties in performing their behaviors. The home modification factors were derived to cope with the pain point of each behavior (Results) Through these data, the researchers defined 4 levels of independence(independence, semi-independence, semi-dependence, dependence) and characteristics of each behaviors. A cluster analysis was performed based on the level of independence. The cluster analysis result was grouped into six groups. Six type of elderly personas were developed based on the six groups. The scenarios for six personas described sub-behaviors to complete the eight behaviors in a series of processes. Finally, eight behavioral scenarios of six personas were developed, with a total of 48 scenarios being developed. Pain points and context factors were derived from the perspective of home modification by scenarios. Home modification factors were proposed for responding to difficulties and problem factors by specific behaviors, and modification elements were proposed to help performing behavior on their own as much as possible and reduce the burden of their caregiver. (Conclusions)The purpose of this study was to provide information applicable to the project sites so that the home modification could be carried out through analysis of the situation according to the detailed behavior of the elderly. There is also a meaningful significance that the approach in this study showed a shift in the home modification paradigm from architectural perspective to residential-oriented improvements by applying an approach that improves spatial performance to support the behavior of residents, rather than the performance and design improvements of the architectural elements themselves.
호남고속철도 계획노선에서의 피에조콘 관입시험(CPTu)에 의한 연약지반 특성 평가

Piezocone penetration testing(CPTu) results such as cone resistance(q<SUB>c</SUB>), sleeve friction(f<SUB>s</SUB>), and pore pressure(u), have been carried out at 5 sites in Honam high-speed railway areas of Korea, in order to continuously estimate the characteristics of soil layers and the undrained shear strength(S<SUB>u</SUB>) in a soft ground. For the applications of the conventional CPTu results to undrained shear strength, the cone factors(N<SUB>kt</SUB>) were deduced based on Field vane tests, and Monte-Carlo Simulation(MCS). Moreover the correlations of the undrained shear strength of CPTu by soil depths were compared and revised with the results of triaxial compression(UU test), field vane and Dilatometer tests(DMT). The depths of soft foundation at 5 sites in Honam high-speed railway areas were calculated based on the results of the various field tests in addition CPTu. The applicability of CPTu for a soft foundation criterion referred to the criteria of high-speed railway and related agencies in Korea was evaluated.
Analysis of Tidal Stream around Ship Impact Protection of Incheon Bridge Using CFD

Recently, the massive offshore bridges in a ship passage have been constructed on the sea. Therefore, the ship impact protection for the bridge-piers are installed to consider the possibility of vessel collision danger. Due to the ship impact protection, the flow-field characteristics are changed in comparison with the condition without the ship impact protection. Especially, the fluid velocity between the pier and the ship impact protection is possible to increase due to the contraction of the cross sectional area of flow. In this study, the tidal energy magnitude around the ship impact protection of Incheon bridge is assessed by simulating the flow-field by using FLOW-3D software.

An active application of concrete track is being expected for the future construction of Korean railroad. For the successful concrete track construction and design in earthwork areas, the residual settlement should be reasonably estimated using the proper method. The concrete track is extremely vulnerable to the damage of residual settlement. However, at the transition areas such as bridge approach, differential settlement will likely occur due to difference of stiffness, poor drainage and poor ground treatment. The maintenance is very difficult for excessive settlement on existing line, it is need to constrain the residual settlement in step of design. In this paper, it is performed the analysis of the residual settlement measured data, test results and reference to understand the residual settlement behavior of concrete track roadbed
콘크리트 궤도의 시공 및 유지관리를 위한 침하관리 통합 시스템의 구축 및 활용

In construction of high speed railway, the fan shape is limited to achieve reduction of required travel time and concrete railway which has structural stability and induces small maintenance cost with allowable ground settlement is recently applied. So construction of concrete railway on soft ground in which considerable ground settlement occurs increases and settlement management in soft ground section is required. Field monitoring on ground movement and integrated geotechnical information system which manages construction, design, and field monitoring data are essential for settlement management of concrete railway subgrade. Site investigation data are also required due to future repair work. Therefore in this study, integrated geotechnical information system for construction and maintenance of concrete railway is developed. The developed system consists of a database and an application program. The database contains site investigation, construction, design, and field monitoring data throughout a railway. Application program performs various functions on managing and utilizing information in the database with graphic visualization of output. And by providing integrating information with comprehensible visual displays, the applicability and effectiveness of the developed system for construction and maintenance management were confirmed.
