This paper presents the on-vehicle information system that displays the states of the vehicle in brief words instead of symbols. Main functions of this system include a system check function, trip function, warning function, and clock function. With this system, a driver can obtain all sorts of useful information related to various conditions of the vehicle, and if any problem arises in the vehicle, he can recognize it by the displayed words with a warning sound. Also, this system is very helpful for safety driving because it displays whatever a driver wants to have concerning trip information. By experimental test and driving test, the development system shows good results for each function.<br/>

In this paper, discrete-time H∞ controller design in δ-domaion using Normalized Coprime Factor plant description is proposed and the loop-shaping method developed by McFalane[2], which is known to be very simple and systematic method, is adopted here in H∞ controller design. In particular, we show that δ-H∞ controller proposed here is a unified form for the continuous and discrete-time cases.

In this paper we investigate the connection between the continuous-time FIR(finite impulse response) filter and the corresponding discrete-time FIR filter with fast sampling. The interconnection is established by formulating the discrete-time case using delta operators which has superior numerical properties in discretizing procedure. The aim of this paper is to present a unified FIR filter us the δ-opera tor and to show that, as sampling interval Δ approaches to zero, the results of this filter converge to the corresponding continuous-time results, which implies that the unified FIR filter unifies continuous-time FIR filter and discrete-time FIR filter.
