Commercially available extracellular matrix(ECM) hydrogel-coated culture plates have been used tostudy the relationship between the ECM microenvironmentand stem cell behavior. However, it is unclear whetherECM-coated dishes mimic the natural ECM microenvironmentbecause the architecture of the ECM is constructedof randomly distributed fibers. The purpose of thisstudy was the production and confirmation of humanengineered cell lines stably expressing large ECM proteinssuch as collagen I/II and fibronectin. First, large (over10 kb) ECM vectors encoding human collagen I/II andfibronectin were constructed and the circular vectors werelinearized. Second, the linear ECM vectors were introducedinto immortalized human embryonic kidney cellsusing various transfection methods. The polyethylenimineand liposome methods showed higher efficiencies thanelectroporation for transfection of these large vectors. Third, human ECM engineered cells were established bystable integration of the vector into the genomic DNA andresulted in stable overexpression of mRNA and proteins. Insummary, human engineered cell lines stably expressinglarge ECM proteins such as human collagen I/II andfibronectin were successfully prepared, and secretion of the ECM components into the surrounding environment wasconfirmed by immunocytochemistry. Thus, human ECMengineered cells naturally secreting ECM componentscould be valuable for studying the relationship between thenative ECM microenvironment and stem cell behavior.

We developed KOINONIA to transfer high speed data and multimedia data in the WPAN area. master and slave can make a piconet as star topology. this technology guarantee QOS of the multimedia traffic using TDMA which allocate the channel. but when KOINONIA is used with host system, the method of interface between KOINONIA and host system affect heavily the performance of traffic transfer. thus, we proposed new method of interface between KOINONIA and host system which can guarantee the performance of maxim traffic transfer in the MAC layer.
스마트 그리드 응용에 적합한 고속 Hybrid MAC 구현에 관한 연구

In this paper, high-speed Hybrid MAC (Medium Access Control layer) implementation suitable for smart grid applications is researched. MB-OFDM (Multi-Band Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) is considered for high-speed communication method in smart grid application. In this paper, the MAC adopts the distributed network managing method. Also, the MB-OFDM merit of high-speed transfer rate of up to 480Mbps must be supported. Hence, this paper presents an efficient hardware-software integration (co-design) method in order to realize a high- speed transmission, and a realizing method of distribution network. Finally, MAC performance and reliability based on MB-OFDM PHY (PHYsical layer) are confirmed through simulation and emulation.
모터펌프설비의 운전효율 관리를 위한 무선통신 기술 구현

모터펌프설비의 최적운전효율관리 기술의 핵심은 펌프시스템의 운전상태를 실시간으로 모니터링하고 운전효율을 분석하여 펌프가 최적의 상태로 운전되고 있는지를 진단하는 것이다. 이를 구현하기 위해서는 센서네트워크를 구성하고 필요한 데이터를 수집하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 기존 지그비 무선통신의 단점을 보완한 IEEE802.15.4e 기반의 무선통신 기술을 구현하여 모터펌프설비의 운전효율관리 시스템에 적용하고자 한다.
Binary CDMA 기술을 이용한 무선 원격검침 시스템 구현

This paper presents the AMR (Automatic Meter Reading) system using the binary CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) radio technology. The binary CDMA is the new radio technology in domestic research. Main implementation topics includes the binary CDMA remote meter reading system, the wireless piconet configuration for the wireless automatic meter reading, and the transmission scheduling for sending and receiving data. Also, the wireless packet data encryption is very important topics for the wireless automatic meter reading. The proposed AMR system is implemented as a pilot project in Jeju and Gangwon. It can be seen that the wireless remote reading using the binary CDMA wireless technology can be applied to the AMR system.
