A quantum light source is an essential element for quantum information technology, including quantum communication, quantum sensor, and quantum computer. Quantum light sources including photon number state, entangled state, and squeezed state can be divided into two types according to the generation mechanism, namely single emitter and non-linear based systems. The single emitter platform contains atom/ion trap, solid-state defect/color center, two-dimensional material, and semiconductor quantum dot, which can emit deterministic photons. The non-linear based platform contains spontaneous parametric down-conversion and spontaneous four-wave mixing, which can emit probabilistic photon pairs. For each platform, we give an overview of the recent research trends of the generation, manipulation, and integration of single photon and entangled photon sources. The characteristics of quantum light sources are investigated for each platform. In addition, we briefly introduce quantum sensing, quantum communication, and quantum computing applications based on quantum light sources. We discuss the challenges and prospects of quantum light sources for quantum information technology.
다물체 동역학 프로그램을 이용한 50 톤급 건설기계용 진동 리퍼의 링크 모듈 해석에 관한 연구

Virbo ripper is a construction equipment developed for rock cracking and ripping. It is different from the existing hydraulic breaker. In developing 50-ton vibro rippers, link modules are an important part of improving the vibration efficiency of gearboxes and ensuring durability against digging forces. This paper focuses on checking the stress distribution of the link module, which is the component of interest when the vibro ripper hits the rock, and predicting the weak spots and reflecting them in the component design. The dynamic behavior analysis of the vibro ripper was used to identify the structural weakness of the link module using Daful®, a multibody dynamics commercial program, and the fatigue life was estimated using the results obtained through the simulation.

In recent years, various forms of indentation testing have been increasingly used to determine the material properties of specimens. This technique, particularly the nano-indentation method , has been extended to the testing of coating systems in order to calculate the individual properties of the thin coatings and the substrates.However, the interpretation of the test data to achieve this is complex and continues to be a widely studied subject. Based on the finite element method of coated surfaces indented by a Berkovich diamond tip, this paper describes methods for combining FEM and experimental indentation testing to determine coating modulus and hardness independent of substrate effects. Using this proposed methodology, testing and FEM to measure coefficients of friction of sheet steel for outer panel were studied.
유산소성 트레이닝이 흰쥐의 골격근 내 carnitine 농도에 미치는 영향

To investigate the effects of the acute exercise and the long-term aerobic training on carnitine concentration in skeletal muscle, we made Sprague-Dawley rats undergo the acute exercise and the long-term aerobic training (20-25 m/min, 10˚ incline, 60 min/day, 5 days/week, 12 weeks), then finally we came to conclusion like this. TC of liver decreased significantly in the AA (after 12 weeks acute exercise) group and the LE (12 weeks long-term exercise) group than in the AC (after 12weeks control) group (p<.05). The concentration of free carnitine in soleus muscle increased significantly in the LE group than in the AC group. In red-type gastrocnemius muscle, the concentration of free carnitine and total carnitine decreased significantly in the AA group, but increased significantly in the LE group, so consequently those kept the level of AC group (p<.05). In white-type gastrocnemius muscle, the concentration of long chain acylcarnitine increased in the AA group and LE group than in the AC group, especially increased in AA group (p<.05). In other hand, there was no difference among the groups in plantaris muscle. Camitine is quaternary amine related deeply with the aerobic metabolism, and their activation in coleus muscle, and red-type gastrocnemius muscle increased significantly. In this result, we can suppose that soleus muscle and red-type gastrocnemius muscle are consisted of suitable muscle fiber for aerobic metabolism.
