본 연구는 산업 분야에서 온실가스 배출 및 경제의 영향을 파악할 때 사용되는 Log Mean Divisia Index(LMDI) 모형을 이용하여 광공업 산업 전체 및 세부 업종별 2016-2019년 온실가스 저감 성과를 분석하였다. 본 연구에서는 LMDI를 통해 분해한 경제성장 효과와 탄소집약도 효과를 바탕으로 4가지 저감 성과 유형을 설정하고, 이를 통하여 광공업 세부 업종별로 어떠한 상황에 놓여 있는지 정량적 살펴보았으며 또한 분석된 결과를 바탕으로 산업 부문에서 경제 성장과 배출량 저감을 동시에 달성하는 것이 가능한지를 논의해 보았다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 광공업 업종에서는 경제성장의 효용과 탄소집약도 효용이 서로 상쇄되는 문제가 발생하여 실질적인 저감 목표 달성이 어려운 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 세부 업종별로 저감 성과 유형을 살펴보았을 때 업종의 종류에 따라서 다른 유형에 놓이게 되었으며 또한 시간에 따라서 위치가 유동적으로 이동하는 특성이 나타났다. 연구의 결과는 산업 부문을 관리하는 정책의 목표와 방향성이 세분화 되어야 하고 또한 수시로 조정되어야 함을 실증적으로 뒷받침하였다.

Our environment is faced with serious problems related to the air pollution from automobiles in these days. In particular, the exhaust emissions of diesel engines are recognized as main causes of the air pollution. DI diesel engine is widely used for the sake of minimization on exhaust emission. Because biodiesel fuel is a renewable and alternative fuel for diesel engine, its usability is expanded. The smoke emission of esterfied rapeseed oil is reduced remarkably in comparison with commercial gas oil, that is, it was reduced approximately 44.5% at 1500rpm. But, brake specific energy consumption showed very slight differences. It was concluded that esterfied rapeseed oil can utilize effectively as an alternative and renew-able fuel for diesel engine.

The potential possibility of oxygenated fuel for di-ether group oxygenated additives such as Methyl tertiary butyl ether(MTBE) and diethylene glycol dimethyl ether(DGM) were investigated for the sake of exhausted smoke reduction from diesel engine. They include oxygen content approximately from 18% to 36%, it is a kind of oxygenated fuel that the smoke emission of them is reduced remarkably compared with commercial diesel fuel. In the experiment by gas chromatography, unburned hydrocarbons of oxygenated fuel were reduced than those of commercial diesel fuel.
디젤기관에서 EGR 적용시의 배기배출특성에 관한 실험적 연구

The Effects of cooled and hot EGR(exhaust gas recirculation) on the characteristics of Smoke and NOx emission have been investigated using a single cylinder, water-cooled, four cycle, DI diesel engine at several loads and speeds. In this study, a manually controlled EGR system was installed on an agricultural diesel engine which was operated at various operating system. The effects of hot EGR and cooled EGR on smoke and NOx emission were compared. The results showed that cooled EGR method was more effective than hot EGR method in reducing smoke and NOx emission.
직접분사식 농용 디젤기관에서 함산소연료의 배기 배출 특성

Diesel-powered vehicles are popular for heavy-load transportation because their fuel efficiency is higher than that of gasoline-powered. Although diesel engines provide convenience in our daily life, their emission smell bad and contain many type of toxic air pollutants. Improvements in fuel properties have become essential for emission reduction as well as for optimization of directly-related design factors and exhaust gas aftertreatment. In this study, the potential possibility of oxygenated fuel such as ethylene glycol mono-n-butyl ether(EGBE) was investigated for the sake of smoke reduction from diesel engine. Because EGBE include oxygen content approximately 27.1%, it is a kind of effective oxygenated fuel that the smoke emission of EGBE is reduced remarkably in comparison with commercial diesel fuel, that is, it can supply oxygen component sufficient at high load and speed in diesel engine.
