A shop floor control system(SFCS), a central part of agile manufacturing, performs the production activities required to fill orders. In order to effectively control these activities, CSCW (computer supported cooperative work) is adopted where a supervisor does not exist. In this paper, we define functional perspective of CSCW-based shop floor control using planning, scheduling, and execution functions. In particular, we focus on an execution model than can coordinate the planning and scheduling functions. Execution can be defined informally as a function the downloads and performs a set of scheduled tasks. Execution is also responsible for identifying and resolving various errors whether they come from hardware of software. The purpose of this research is to identify all the execution activities and solving techniques under the assumptions of CSCW-based heterarchical control architecture. This paper also proposes a classification scheme for execution activities of CSCW-based heterarchical control architecture. Petri-nets are used as a unified framework for modeling and controlling execution activities. For solving the nonexistence of a supervisor, A negotiation-based solution technique is utilized.
Order Batch Formations for Less Picker Blocking in a Narrow-Aisle Picking System

This paper analyses the best batch formations for order picking throughput in narrow-aisle order picking systems. Our analytical comparison finds that a high pick density variation leads to a heavy picker blocking. Simulation experiments show that a distance-based batching algorithm reduces picker blocking by decreasing the number of aisles visited and stabilizing the variation in number of picks per aisle by packing orders tightly, and that the solution quality and mechanism for determining the batch size dictated by the sorting strategy causes varying amounts of blocking. We conclude that combining a distance-based batching method with an appropriate batch sizing strategy will reduce picker blocking and shorten travel in narrow-aisle picking systems.
학교요인과 가정요인이 청소년의 학업적 자기효능감에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to examine the factors that affect adolescents’ academic self-efficacy by analyzing their middle and high school periods based on gender and household income. To achieve the purpose, 2,845 data from students participating in“Korea Education Longitudinal Study”in 2005, 2006 and 2009 was analyzed. The results of the analysis were like the following: First, the factors affecting their academic self-efficacy in the middle school and that in the high school were very different. The father’s educational background and the pressure for achievement had a positive effect in middle school years. In high school years, the mother's educational background and academic supports contributed to their academic self-efficacy. Second, the family factor had a positive influence on the female adolescents while their grade levels were increasing. whereas the school factor was the main cause for the male adolescents’academic self-efficacy. Finally, the factors affecting academic self-efficacy in the high school periods were more various than those in the middle school periods as the household income was increasing. The study was significant in that the role of factors on the development stage of adolescents was specifically investigated according to gender and household income, in addition to the previous studies. 본 연구는 학교요인과 가정요인이 청소년의 학업적 자기효능감에 미치는 영향요인을 탐색하기 위해 성 그리고 가구소득을 중심으로 동일대상의 중, 고등학교 두 시기를 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 한국교육종단연구(Korea Education Longitudinal Study)의 1차(2005년), 2차(2006년), 5차(2009년) 자료를 활용하여 총 2,845명의 데이터를 분석대상으로 삼았다. 연구결과, 중학교보다는 고등학교 시기에 학업적 자기효능감이 감소하였고 중학교에는 아버지의 학력과 교사의 성취압력이, 고등학교에는 어머니의 학력과 학업지원이 학업적 자기효능감에 주요한 영향을 미쳤다. 여자 청소년은 학년이 높아질수록 학업에 대한 가정요인이 학업적 자기효능감에 매우 긍정적으로 영향을 미치며, 남자의 경우 학교요인이 긍정적 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 시기에 상관없이 가구소득이 낮을수록 학업적 자기효능감이 낮게 나타났으며, 중학교보다 고등학교에는 소득이 높을수록 영향을 주는 요인이 다양해졌다. 본 연구는 선행연구에서 이루어진 중고교별, 성 및 가구소득에 따른 학업적 자기효능감의 차이를 확인하는 것에 더하여 발달단계에 따라 학업적 자기효능감에 미치는 영향요인이 성, 가구소득별로 어떻게 다른지 구체적으로 검증하여 선행 연구들의 성과를 심화시켰다는 데 의미가 있다.
