An early checking of the product quality and subsequent feedbacking is crucial in producing program. In a macro approach, it is possible to statistically estimate the number of bugs contained in a set of product. In this thesis, two prediction methods are studied as means of quality checking: One is static prediction which employs a predictive approach within a range of information obtained through manufacturing process, and the other is dynamic prediction which infers product quality by excuting an operation similar to inspection before delivering program as a product. Static prediction method, by having its vertical axis represent prediction about quality progress after production point and its horizontal axis represent prediction about entire quality, estimates the number of bugs in program as a way of product quality checking. Whereas, dynamic prediction which is a kind of quality probe is also studied in detail. This thesis illustrates execution samples of these two prediction methods, thus modelling the program development process and inferring the date of program completion by estimating the number of actual bugs. It was proved that in program production these prediction methods could be employed to reduce processing time and also to improve product quality.

The computer system widely used in business enterprises and government agencies, and the computer related expenditure is rapidly increasing. Consequently the cost-benefit analysis is essential to investigate the feasibility of computer sytem operation. Among the ways analyzing the cost-benefit, the present-value method is most satisfactory because when the computer installation cost is regarded as an investment, the payment must be made now and its effect is realized only in installments over some period of years. It can be seen that there exists a difference in time between the payment for the computer installation and the effect for the computer utillization. The pressent-value methed can overcome the difference in time by applying a certain discount rate compensating the waiting and uncertainly period related tot he future. Here the discount rate is shwon as the reciprocal concept of the compound interest formula. This paper discusses all concepts and processes related to the cost-benefit analysis study of the computer system operation by analyzing the covered present value from the future cost and benefit. In addition, it is also used in determining alteratives for the investment -pur-chasing or leasing- of a computer.
국제표준에 따른 사무용 문서의 디코딩 시스템에 관한 연구

본 논문에서는 다양한 ODA 데이타 형식을 ASN.1에 따라 정의할 수 있고 이러한 데이타 형식을 받아들여서 원하고자 하는 디코더를 생성시키는 translator를 구성하였다. 이 translator는 C언어로 된 디코더를 생성시킨다. 또한 디코더는 X.209에 정의된 엔코딩 규칙에 따라서 만든 octet 스트림을 입력으로 하고 출력으로써 ASN.1 표기법에 따른 값들을 출력시킨다. 본 논문의 연구가 혼합형 터미널 개발과 PC통신, 다양한 문서 형식의 교환 시스템 개발, MHS 개발에 유용하리라 기대된다. This paper can define raried ODA date formats according to ASN. 1 and compose the translator that produces the decoder which we want after it receives that date format. This translator produces the decoder which is formed in C language. Also, in input the decoder receives octet stream made according to encoding rules defined in X. 209 and in output produces values by ASN. 1 represeatation. The study of this paper is expected to be useful in mixed mode development, PC communication, communication system development of varied document format and MHS development.

본 연구는 광주·전남지역의 정보통신 기반을 조성하기 위해 국내외 ISDN 통신망 현황, 시범서비스와 상용서비스 사업 현황과 정부 차원의 ISDN 사업계획 등을 토대로 하여 사용자 수요에 대한 요구 분석을 중심으로 이 지역의 ISDN활성화를 위한 방안을 연구하였다. 이를 위한 연구방법은 현장성과 실행성을 위하여 기존의 통신망과 ISDN 시범망 이용실태를 조사하고, 설문지를 통한 ISDN 사용자의 요구를 분석한 후 지역 특성에 적합한 효율적 활성화 방안을 제시하였다. Rapid advances in computer and communication technologies have resulted in the increasing merger of these two fields. The ISDN is based on the development of digital transmission and switching technologies and their use to construct an integrated digital network. The ISDN will be a worldwide public telecommunications network that will deliver a wide variety of services with data, voice, and image informations. This paper described the architectural and operational characteristics and the national business activities of the ISDN. And the environment of telecommunications in Kwangju-Chonnam area is analyzed. Thereafter the activation of the ISDN is proposed.
