より良い飜譯を目指した對話的な學び -合意形成プロセスに着目して-

本硏究は、繪本の飜譯文をめぐる話し合い活動において、どのような話し合いが行われているかその實際を明らかにしようとするものである。 本稿では、仲間と共により良い譯文を檢討する過程を「合意形成プロセス」の視点から捉え、お互いの考えや意見をすり合わせながら、ことばの意味づけをしていく過程を明らかにした。注目される点は、それぞれが飜譯案の根據を示したり、自身の考えを表明したりすることで、學習者自身が論点を提示し、合意形成に向けた判斷基準を示しながら、主體的に學習を進めていたことである。本硏究で判斷基準となっていたのは、Ⅰ言語知識やことばのイメ一ジ、Ⅱ 前後の文脈、Ⅲ 繪による視覺的イメ一ジ、Ⅳ 比喩的表現とメッセ一ジ性の關係、Ⅴ その他で、それらを手がかりに合意形成を圖っていた。 本硏究で檢討したのは母語での話し合いであるが、協動での飜譯作業によって「ことば」を對象化することにより、日ごろ無意識に使っている母語(韓國語)や學習言語である日本語が改めて意識化され、見つめ直される。本硏究から、話し合いに參加する學習者が、それぞれが持つことばに關する旣有知識やイメ一ジを共有し合い、ことばの意味をすり合わせるプロセスそのものが、生き生きとした言語學習の場となることが明らかになった。 The purpose of this paper is to analyze the discussion activity over the translation of picture books of students majoring in Japanese at a university in Korea. Consensus building (also known as collaborative problem solving or collaboration) is a conflict-resolution process used mainly to settle complex, multiparty disputes. The process of consensus building allows various way of thinking and to develop a mutually acceptable ideas, together. This paper focuses on the thought process of students while building a better translation in collaboratively to analyze how students learn Japanese in the process The criteria for judgment were (1) images of words (linguistic knowledge), (2) contexts before and after the story, (3) visual images such as pictures, and (4) relationships between message quality and metaphor. In the discussion, in the process of expressing the grounds and thoughts of their own translated sentences, such judgment standards were presented and consensus formation was planned. It can be said that the process of consensus building on translation is drawing out student's proactive learning.

일본어학습을 목적으로 번역 활동을 할 때 그림책을 활용하는 경우가 있는데, 그것은 ‘그림’이라는 시각적인 텍스트를 통해 얻어지는 언어적인 부분이 있기 때문이다. 실제로 그림책의 번역문에 대한 토론이 진행될 때, 학습자가 그림을 단서로 해서 상황을 파악하고, 이미지의 공유를 통해 납득이 가는 번역문인가를 검토하는 모습을 볼 수 있다. 본고에서는 그림책의 번역문을 둘러싸고, 학습자가 그림에 대해 언급한 장면을 “공동주시”장면으로 파악하였다. 그 장면의 협동토론을 통해 그림의 기능과 언어학습과의 관계를 살펴보았다. 분석 결과 일본 그림책인 “よるのかえりみち”를 이용한 토론에서는 총22개 장면 중 9개 장면의 번역에서 그림에 대한 언급이 있었다. 학생들은 ‘그림을 함께 보는 것’으로 문맥이나 상황을 파악하였고, 단어의〈감소/추가〉, 〈동사의 상〉, 〈바꾸어 말하기〉, 〈의성어/의태어〉, 〈어휘나 조사의 선택〉 등을 판단하였다. 그림책 번역에 있어서 그림이 언어를 이끌어내고, 언어가 그림의 의미를 더욱 뚜렷하게 해 주는 양적 상승효과로 인해 스토리의 이해가 쉬워진다. 그림책을 활용한 번역활동은, 지도에 있어 풍부한 이미지를 동반한 언어학습이 가능해지도록 할 것이다. In translation activities as a Japanese learning using picture books, visual text seems to bring out language awareness. In fact, when discussing the translation of a picture book, you can see the students understand the context by sharing pictures. In this paper, we focus on “Joint Attention” as a situation that students seeing picture with others for translate. As a result, Joint Attention was able to be confirmed in 9 scenes out of 22 scenes in the discussion using Japanese picture book “The Way Home in the Night”. And students understood the context by pictures and decided the addition/reduction of word, aspects, paraphrase, onomatopoeic word. In the translation of a picture book, the picture(visual image) is not just a supplement. It (visual image) draws out the meaning of words and the words are deepen the meaning of the picture, the synergistic effect of both of the picture and the words are deepens the story. To translate a picture book, it brings rich image in the language learning in Japanese class.
