일제하 서울 종로상인의 자산운용 -1910, 20년대 수남상회의 자료를 중심으로-

이 글은 일제하에 서울 종로에서 수남상회라는 포목상점을 운영한 김씨가의 사례를 통해서 1910, 20년대 서울 상인들의 자산운용 실태를 살펴본 것이다. 크게 두 가지가 주목된다. 첫째, 당시 서울 상인들은 서울에서 점포만 운영한 게아니라 각지에 농지 등 부동산을 소유하여 임대료 수입과 매매차익을 얻었고, 대부자금을 운용하여 이자수입을 얻었으며, 유가증권을 소유하여 배당금과 매매차익을 얻고 때로는 그걸 매개로 그 회사 중역이 되어 상당액의 보수도 받았다. 이들은 상인이자 지주, 자본가, 대금업자이고 기업경영자인 복합적인 존재였다. 둘째, 서울상인들은, 비록 평균적으로는 유가증권 수익률이 농지수익률보다 낮았지만, 유가증권 투자를 통해서 그 회사 중역이 될 경우 거액의 상여금을 받아 농지수익률보다 더 큰 수익률을 올릴수 있었다. 일제시기에 지주들의 유가증권 투자가 계속되고 특히 유가증권 투자를 통해서 기업의 중역이 되어 회사경영에도 직접 참여하였던 지주 겸 부르주아지들이 그 후 단순한 지주로 되돌아간 예가 흔치 않았던 데는 이런 배경이 있었던 것으로 보인다. This paper examines the Gim family, which managed the dry goods store Sunam sanghoe in the Jongno district of Seoul, as a case study of the asset management practices of Seoul merchants in the 1910s and 1920s. There are two main findings. First, Seoul merchants did not simply operate stores in Seoul but also owned various types of real estate, including farmland, from which they collected rents and made capital gains. They also earned interest on loans and purchased securities which provided dividends and capital gains. Through the securities purchases, they occasionally became key figures in companies and collected significant payouts. These people assumed multiple roles as merchants, landlords, capitalists, moneylenders, and business managers. The second finding is that the Seoul merchants earned less income on average from securities than from farmland. However, when their investment in securities allowed them to become key members of companies, then they could make more money than they could make from farmland. Landlords during the colonial period who invested in securities and rose to become direct participants in company management were landlords-cum-bourgeoisie. However, there were very few cases where these landlord-bourgeoisie divested their holdings and went back to becoming simple landlords.

인체생리(⼈體⽣理)에 대한 의역사상(醫易思想) 고찰

본 연구의 목적은 고대 동양철학에서 역(易)과 의(醫)를 결합하여 동체이용(同體異用)으로써 사람의 생리를 고찰한 것이다. 이와 같은 연구목적을 달성하기 위한 연구방법은 문헌분석 방법으로써, 역과 의가 어떻게 결합하여 적용되고 있는지를 살펴보고자 하였으며 크게 두 가지로 나누어 관련 문헌을 첫째, 역의 음양과 생리작용, 둘째, 역의 괘상(卦象)과 장상(臟象) 관계 등으로 양분하여 고찰하였다. 본 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 동양 의(醫)와 역(易)의 원리는 태극과 음양 그리고 천인합일(天人合一)의 자연과 인간을 하나로 보는 우주관에서 출발한 같은 근본을 가지고 있다. 둘째, 그 이론의 핵심은 의역동원(醫易同原)의 이치이며 여기에 의거하여 의역학(醫易學)이라는 개념적 정의도 가능하였다. 본 연구는 역(易)과 의(醫)의 원리는 우주 만물의 규칙과 양상이 함축되고 근본이 동일함을 고찰한 연구의의가 있으며 연구의 깊이에 한계점이 있으니 역(易)을 바탕으로 의(醫)를 고찰하는 후속연구가 필요하다. The purpose of this study was to review the literature on human physiology by combining the Yeok (the Book of Changes) and the Ui (medicine) in ancient Eastern philosophy with the same body and different uses. As a way to deal with this, I tried to examine how the Yeok and the Ui are combined and applied, and divided into two main categories: 1. yin and yang and physiological action of the Yeok, and 2. the relationship between the Jangsang and the Gwae was discussed in the literature record. As a result, the principles of the Ui and the Yeok are the same root that started from the cosmic view that sees nature and humans as one as Taiji, yin and yang and the unity of the heavenly beings. The center of the theory is the Yeok, which is the same as the principle of the Ui. It is also called the Ui-Yeokhak. Based on this, the rules and flow of all things in the universe are clearly defined.

Traditional soccer balls are usually constructed from 32 pentagonal and hexagonal panels. However, recently, the FIFA Would Cup official soccer balls, constructed from 14, 8 and 6 panels, respectively. Consequently, soccer ball panels have evolved significantly beyond the conventional in terms of their shape and design. Therefore, the present study investigates the flight and aerodynamic characteristics for modern soccer balls using the wind tunnel and kicking robot. Firstly, the wind tunnel tests showed substantial differences in the aerodynamics acting on the ball, depending on its shape. Furthermore, the tests for the kicking robot, revealed large variations in the flight trajectory depending on the ball types and their orientations. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the shape of the soccer ball substantially affects its.

만다라미술치료를 병행한 감정자유기법이 중년여성의 우울감 해소와 자존감 향상에 관한 사례연구

본 연구의 목적은 그림을 그리면서 자신의 내면이 반영되는 만다라 미술치료를 자아의 정체성 확인 및 개별화 과정으로 인식하고 이를 병행한 EFT가 중년여성의 우울증 개선과 자존감 향상에 대해 미치는 영향을 고찰하는 것이다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 단일사례연구로 심리적 변화를 추적하고 K-BDI-Ⅱ와 CES-D 및 RSE를 이용하여 사전사후 효과를 검증하였다. 그 결과 K-BDI-Ⅱ는 -31점 CES-D는 -17점으로 우울증의 감소효과가 있었고, RSE검사는 +32점의 자존감 향상의 변화를 나타냈다. 따라서 만다라 미술치료를 병행한 EFT의 효과가 중년여성의 우울증 개선과 자존감 향상에 대해 효과를 확인할 수 있었다. 그러나 이 글은 단일사례 연구에 그치고 있어 일반화하기에는 부족함이 있다는 한계점이 있으므로 연구의 다양성을 확보하고 실용성을 증대시킬 수 있는 후속연구가 필요하다. The purpose of this study is to improve the depression and self-esteem of middle-aged women by EFT, which recognizes Mandara as a process of identifying and individualizing herself and reflects her inner self while drawing Mandara. Psychological changes were tracked with phenomenological single case studies and pre-post effects were verified using K-BDI-II, CES-D, and RSE. As a result, K-BDI-II scored -31 points, CES-D scored -17 points, indicating a decrease in depression, and RSE test showed a change in self-esteem improvement of +32 points. Therefore, it is confirmed that the effect of EFT combined with mandala art therapy is effective, but it cannot be generalized as a single case, and it is thought that there will be various studies and practical value on this.

Real-time Global Stereo Matching Implementation On FPGA

There are growing needs in stereo vision applications for accuracy, fast calculation, and compact hardware implementation. The global matching techniques based on belief propagation (BP) show robust results with low error rates. However, BP has enormous time and memory complexity that obstruct realization of real-time systems. We present a new parallel architecture with high memory efficiency. The architecture was designed by HDL code and implemented in FPGA chip. With 160 processors that fully operate in parallel, our system is capable of processing video frame with size of 160 480 × at the speed of 15 frames per second. Overall memory usage was reduced 19 times from BP, and average disparity errors were same as BP.

Fast Belief Propagation for Segmentation

For the segmentation, there are mainly typical cut and normalization cut among the graph based techniques which show good results due to the approximated global methods on the 2D MRF. Toward a real-time color image segmentation, we will present a high-speed and parallel fast belief propagation(FBP) algorithm which is based on the GBP’s typical cut method. At N by M 2D MRF image and T iterations, O(NMT) time complexity can be reduced to O(MT) with N Processors and it has a smaller distributed memory resources O(NT) than typical cut’s O(NM), due to the small T. With a linear systolic array structure, we can increase the computational speed by the cascaded parallel processors.

Anti-inflammatory activity of 6-O-phospho-7-hydroxycoumarin in LPS-induced RAW 264.7 cells

Esculetin (also known as 6, 7-dihydroxycoumarin) a type of coumarin, has been exhibited anti-inflammatory and antiaging effects. Biorenovation is the microbe-mediated enhancement of biological efficacies and structurally diversified compounds relative to their substrate compounds. The production of different kinds of esculetin derivatives using Bacillus sp. JD3-7 and their effects on lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-triggered inflammatory response in RAW 26.7 cells were assessed. One of the biorenovation products, identified as esculetin 6-O-phosphate (ESP), at concentrations of 1.25, 2.5, and 5 μM inhibited the LPSstimulated production of inflammation markers of nitric oxide synthase 2 and cyclooxygenase 2 as well as their respective enzymatic reaction products of nitric oxide and prostaglandin E2 in the order of increasing concentrations (1.25, 2.5, and 5 μM). Additionally, ESP treatment suppressed the LPS-stimulated secretion of pro-inflammatory cytokines of interleukin (IL)-1β, IL-6, and tumor necrosis factor- α. Furthermore, these antiinflammatory effect of ESP was associated with the downregulation of mitogen-activated protein kinase signaling, that is, extracellular signal-regulated kinase, c-Jun NH2-terminal kinase, and p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase signaling pathways. This study would therefore provide interesting insights into the biorenovationassisted generation of a novel anti-inflammatory compound. ESP may be used to develop treatments for inflammatory disorders.
