Robust tool path generation for three-axis ball-end milling of sculptured surfaces

Tool path generation is the main issue in the finishing stage of NC machining. In order to satisfy surface finish quality, tool paths are generated so that the scallop height formed by two adjacent tool paths is controlled within a predefined machining tolerance. In order to fill this requirement, the path interval should be small enough, and consequently, the machining efficiency is limited. To achieve a significant improvement in machining efficiency, the scallop height is kept at a constant which is equal to the predefined machining tolerance. This constant scallop height machining was first proposed by Suresh and Yang [4]. Improvements on the preliminary work were later proposed by Lin and Koren [2] and Sarma and Dutta [3]. Several rough approximations were used in their algorithms, and consequently, the generated tool paths cannot guarantee that the scallop height is even within the predefined machining tolerance. To improve the machining accuracy of constant scallop height machining, Feng and Li [1] proposed an iterative approach for tool path generation using a thorough understanding of the machining geometry. In the iterative algorithm, it was utilized a function which indicates the distance to the design surface. The bisection method could be used because the distance function is continuous. The present author found that the distance function is also differentiable and analytic [5]. There-fore the bisection method could be superseded by the Newton method, and consequently, the total computing time is reduced. In the works of Feng and Li [1] and Yoon [5], the iterative algorithms need the explicit solution of the orthogonal projection to the design surface for a point. However, modern CAD/CAM systems fail to provide sufficiently robust method for the orthogonal projection. In this talk, I will suggest a new iterative approach for constant scallop height machining while avoiding the projection and therefore also improving the computational speed significantly. In order to avoid the point projection, it is proposed a new model denoted by effective cutting profile for the machined strip detection.

Balasubramaniam and Muralisankar (2004) proved the existence and uniqueness of fuzzy solutions for the semilinear fuzzy integrodifferential equations with nonlocal initial condition. Park et al. (2006) found the sufficient condition of this system. Recently, Kwun et al. (2006) proved the existence and uniqueness of solutions for the semilinear fuzzy integrodifferential equations with nonlocal initial conditions and forcing term with memory in $E_N$. In this paper, we study the controllability for this system by using the concept of fuzzy number whose values are normal, convex, upper semicontinuous and compactly supported interval in $E_N$.

Analysis of Uterine Bacteria to Increase Reproductive Efficiency in Hanwoo(Korean Native Cattle)

The objective of this study was to evaluate several types of uterine bacteria in Hanwoo. uterine bacteria from randomly selected 5 uterus was collected by flushing methods into a sterilized 1.5 ml centrifuge tube and was inoculated onto MacConkey agar and blood agar, respectively. After being incubated for 5% CO2, aerobic or anaerobic condition at 37℃ during 48h, bacterial colonies were selected and re-inoculated onto blood agar plates. Re-cultured colonies were identified by Gram staining and finally identified using Vitek system. The identified bacteria were Staphylococcus lentus, Staphylococcus sciuri, Staphylococcus vitulinus, Staphylococcus warneri of Gram (+) and Rhizobium radiobacter, Sphingomonas paucimobilis of Gram () bacteria. Although, pathogenicity of identified bacteria was unclear, the bacteria can have an effect on the uterine microenvironment. Therefore, repetitive research will be required to determine the effects of bacteria in cattle exposed to a various environment.

This article deals with the teacher training for a minor in mathematics. We investigate the drawbacks of the teacher training which is enforced to resolve the overabundant teachers. And we claim that theachers must get a master's degree in a graduate school of education if they get a secondary teaching certificate.

The advent of tourism applications has changed tour patterns through making it easy to access information intourism industry. This study extends the tourism acceptance model (TAM) by introducing two determinants,perceived enjoyment and perceived cost savings, to better explain and predict users` behavioral intentions to usetourism applications specifically in regard to specific age groups who are active travelers and heavy smartphoneowners. In order to conduct empirical research, an online survey on smartphone was carried out by mobile researchservice, ‘OpenSurvey’, and data from 300 participants were analyzed by structural equation modeling (SEM). Theresults show that the impact of perceived usefulness and perceived cost savings on behaviour intention is greater thanperceived enjoyment and perceived ease of use. Perceived ease of use has little direct effect on intention to usetourism applications but indirectly influences through perceived usefulness. Perceived cost savings in time, effortsand monetary value have significant influences on the decision of using tourism applications, but the fun-aspect ofapplications does not greatly help to affect behavior intention. This study offers some practical implications fortourism marketing as a tourism travel tool.

We prove that if graphs of bounded degree are roughly isometric to each other, then the spaces of bounded energy finite solutions of the Schr$\ddot{o}$dinger operator on the graphs are isomorphic to each other. This is a direct generalization of the results of Soardi [5] and of Lee [3].
