        조선조 음악의 『시경』 수용과 활용 양상

        고대 중국의 가장 오래된 시가집으로서의 『시경』은 사서삼경의 경전으로 우리나라에 유입되어 유학사(儒學史)에 큰 영향을 끼쳤다. 특히 『시경』은 음악과 관련된 경전으로서 원래 노랫말이 있는 음악이었으며, “『시경』은 곧 『악경』”이라고 보는 학자들도 있으리만치 음악적인 면에서 중요한 경전의 위치를 점하고 있다. 특히 유학의 심화가 이루어지는 조선조에 『시경』은 문학 텍스트만이 아닌, 노랫말 있는 음악이라는 시각이 확대되었다. 텍스트만 남은 시에 노래 선율이 있다면 그 선율의 모습은 사람들마다 다르게 그려질 수 있다. 따라서 조선에서는 학문적 권위를 지니는 주희가 선택한 시경 선율을 유입하고 그것을 손보아 여러 의례에서 활용하였다. 또 『시경』의 텍스트가 지니고 있는 교화적 기능은 그 노랫말에 당시 쓰이고 있는 여러 선율을 붙여 연주하는 시도로 이어기지도 했다. 조선 전기에 여러 의례를 제정하는 가운데 활용된 『시경』의 노랫말 선택 양상에서 그러한 시도들을 찾을 수 있다. 그런가 하면 조선 후기로 가면서 『시경』이 ‘시와 악’의 화두와 함께 학문적 논의가 심화되는 현상들이 이어진다. 이처럼 조선조 음악에서 『시경』을 수용하거나 활용하는 사례는 다양하다. 이 글에서 그와 같은 양상에 대해 논의하였다. 첫째, 『시경』의 음악이 남아 있지 않기 때문에 중국에서 모의시악(模擬詩樂)을 만들어 놓은 음악을 조선이 수용하고 그것을 활용하는 양상에 대한 것, 둘째, 텍스트만 남아 있는 『시경』의 가사에 제3의 선율을 입혀 활용하는 양상, 셋째, 그러한 『시경』 관련 음악들이 여러 의례에서 쓰이는 양상에 관한 내용을 살펴보았다. 또 『시경』이 ‘노래가 있는 음악’이라는 전제에서 성립한 시악학(詩樂學)으로의 전개 양상에 관한 것도 논의하였다. The Book of Songs, which is the oldest book of poetry of the ancient China, is one of the scriptures of the Seven Chinese Classics and influenced the history of Confucianism after entering Korea. Especially, the Book of Songs is a scripture related to music which used to have lyrics and takes an important position as a scripture in terms of music so that some scholars even view the Book of Songs as the Scripture of Music. Especially in the Joseon Dynasty when Confucianism took its root firmly, the view that considered the Book of Songs as music with lyrics, not just as literary text, spread widely. If a poem that used to have a melody has only its text left, its melody will be imagined differently by different people. So during the Joseon Dynasty, the melody of the Book of Songs that had been chosen by Zhu Xi, who held academic authority, was introduced to Joseon, touched up, and used in various ceremonies. In addition, the edifying function of the text of the Book of Songs led to the efforts to combine the lyrics with various melodies that were used at that time. Such efforts can be found in the aspect of choosing lyrics of the Book of Songs, which were used in establishing various ceremonies in the early Joseon era. In the meantime, in the late Joseon era, there were in-depth academic discussions on the Book of Songs along with the theme of ‘poetry and music’. Like this, there were various cases where music in the Joseon Dynasty accepted or used the Book of Songs and this paper discussed such aspect. First of all, this paper examined the aspect of how Joseon accepted and used what China made as trial poetry and music, since the music of the Book of Songs does not exist now. Second, it reviewed the aspect of combining the lyrics of the Book of Songs with a third melody. Third, it studied the aspect of how music related to the Book of Songs was used in various ceremonies. Also, it discussed the developing aspect of the study of poetry and music that was formed under the premise that the Book of Songs was ‘music with songs’.

        석북 한시의 공연예술화에 대한 소고

        석북 신광수는 시창(詩唱) 「관서악부(關西樂府)」의 작가로 잘 알려진 조선후기의 시인이다. 「관서악부」는 조선시대의 음악인들에게 인기가 있었던 시창이다. 그것을 통해 신광수의 한시에 선율을 붙여 노래 불렀던 전통이 이미 조선시대에 있었음이 확인된다. 이는 조선시대의 한시가 노랫말로 사용되었던 증거의 하나이다. 석북 외에도 조선시대의 문인들은 한시를 짓고 직접 노래했다. 이 경우 노래의 소통 공간은 작자 개인의 사랑방이 된다. 그러나 석북의 작품처럼 그것이 음악인들에 의해 노래로 불려질 때, 이는 많은 사람들과 소통하는 음악으로 공개된다. 이 글은 이미 조선시대에 사람들의 인기를 얻었던 석북 신광수의 한시와 음악을 이 시대의 무대에서도 소통될 수 있는 음악으로 만들기 위한 하나의 새로운 시도이다. 그의 한시를 일정 선율에 얹어 실제 무대를 통해 음악화한 작업의 사례를 소개함으로써 한시의 공연예술화에 대해 생각해 보는 기회를 갖기 위한 것이다. 신광수의 한시는 그 작품 수도 많지만 한시 하나하나에 그의 삶을 조망할 수 있는 내용이 포함되어 있다. 따라서 그의 한시 작품을 통해 그의 삶에서 있었던 주요한 사건을 이야기하는 ‘스토리텔링’이 가능해진다. 이에 본 연구에서는 신광수의 음악적 삶을 조명하고 그의 한시를 공연예술화하는 방식과 그 내용에 대해 소개해 보고자 한다. Shin Gwang-su (申光洙, 1712∼1775), also known as Seokbuk (石北), is a well-known poet and author of the song poetry (詩唱) “Gwanseo-akbu (Poems of the Gwanseo Region, 關西樂府)” in the late Joseon Dynasty. “Gwanseo-akbu” was popular among the Joseon Dynasty musicians. This fact confirms that the tradition of adding a melody to Shin Gwang-su’s “hansi (Korean poetry recorded in Chinese characters, 漢詩)” already existed in the Joseon Dynasty. It is also a proof that the hansi poem was used in songs. Besides Seokbuk, other literary figures in the Joseon Dynasty wrote and sang hansi. In that case, the place of communication for songs was a poet’s personal study, or “sarangbang.” But when, like the works by Seokbuk, poems were sung by musicians, they became available to the public to communicate through music. This study is one of the attempts to re-make Seokbuk Shin Gwang-su’s poems and songs, once popular among the Joseon Dynasty people, into the contemporary music that can be performed on stage. By adding a certain melody to his poems, this study introduces a case of musical work and offers an opportunity to consider hansi as performance art. There is a number of hansi works by Shin Gwang-su, and each poem includes material which can help survey Shin Gwang-su’s musical life. And, working on his hansi works makes it possible to narrate major events that took place in Shin’s life. Thus, this study attempts to focus Shin Gwang-su’s musical life and introduces methods and contents to stage his hansi poems as performance art.

        AB 슬라이드, 크런치 및 윗몸일으키기 운동이 복직근 근활성도에 미치는 효과 : Comparison of It `s Myoelectrical Activities with Crunch and Sit-Up

        The purpose of this study was to compare the effect of AB slide™ on abdominal muscles with Crunch and Sit-up. Myoelectrical activities of Rectus abdominis muscles produced by AB slide™, Crunch and Sit-up were recorded. Healthy male aged from 17 to 36 years(23.0±5.9 yrs) were included fo the test. Surface electrodes were attached to upper and lower part of Rectus abdominis of the study subjects. Averaged integrated electromyography(AIEMG) and Normalized integrated electromyography(NIEMG) were recorded. The results are summarized as follows; First, the AIEMG of Sit-up were highest among them with insignificant difference statistically. Second, the NIEMG of upper part of Rectus abdominis were higher than the one of lower part with significant difference statistically(p<0.05). This phenomenon was same irrespective of the type of exercises. AB slide™ was not more effective than Sit-up and Crunch for strengthening of Rectus abdominis muscle. The upper part of Rectus abdominis was more activated than the lower part by all three exercises.

        正祖의 樂書 편찬과 그 의미

        King Cho˘ngjo 正祖 was a scholarly king who led the golden age of Choso˘n 朝鮮 culture in the eighteenth century, leaving many achievements during his reign (1776-1800). He pursued profound studies, regarding himself to be a scholar king known as kunsa 君師 and left the most enormous collections of works among the successive kings, which was the result of his literary policies based on the solid academic foundation. Especially, several achievements by his musical policy, one of his literary policies under the reign of King Cho˘ngjo are remarkable. It seems that musical policies by King Cho˘ngjo were very organized with elaborate plans. One of them had something to do with the compilation of musical treatises. King Cho˘ngjo thought that the first basic task to lay the basis for flourishing Choso˘n musicology would be the compilation of musical treatises. In consequence, he compiled several books on music, such as Siak hwaso˘ng 『詩樂和聲』, Kukcho siak 『國朝詩樂』, and Akt'ong 『樂通』one after another. Siak hwaso˘ng bing compared to a draft for the rehabilitation of Choso˘n musicology, it is said that Kukcho siak was the result of the adjustment project of Akjang(樂章). Aktong written one year before the style renovation came to the front was the music texts which tried to make use of Chu Hsi's 朱熹 (also known as Chu Cha 朱子 in Sino-Korean) music King Cho˘ngjo admired and to restore the ancient system 古制. These writings were introduced in the part of king's anthology (called o˘jo˘ng 御定) from Hongjae cho˘nso˘ 『弘齋全書』, a collection of King Cho˘ngjo's works. The most noteworthy figure in the compilation of musical treatises by King Cho˘ngjo was So˘ Myo˘ng-u˘ng 徐命膺. He was in the core position to develop the musical policies of King Cho˘ngjo, transforming the age of King Cho˘ngjo into the 'age of compiling musical treatises' by writing many music books. The achievements of compiling music books by King Cho˘ngjo was one way to reach the ideal society where the principle of government was equipped. In the center of it, King Cho˘ngjo and music-understanding subordinate, So˘ Myo˘ng-u˘ng were located.

        국내 다기관에서 조사한 지역사회획득 메티실린내성 황색포도알균의 빈도와 임상적 특성

        목적 : 최근 전세계적으로 지역사회획득 메티실린내성 황색포도알균(community-associated methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, CA-MRSA)의 보고가 증가하고 있다. 하지만, 우리나라에서는 CA-MRSA 감염증에 대한 증례보고만 있을 뿐 아직까지 체계적인 연구결과가 없는 실정이다. 저자들은 국내에서 CA-MRSA의 빈도, 감염증의 임상적 양상, 분리된 균주의 항균제내성 양상을 조사하였다. 재료 및 방법 : 2005년 1월부터 2005년 6월까지 7개 병원에서 MRSA가 분리된 환자의 명단을 파악한 후 의무기록지와 건강보험심사평가원의 자료를 검토하였다. 외래나 응급실에서 혹은 입원 후 72시간 이내에 균주가 분리되고 MRSA 획득과 관련된 위험인자가 없는 경우 CA-MRSA로 정의하였으며, 분리된 균주의 임상적 의미에 따라 원인병원체(pathogen), 집락화(colonizer), 미결정(undetermined)으로 분류하였다. Penicillin과 oxacillin을 제외하고 3개 이상의 다른 계열 항균제에 내성이면 다제내성으로 정의하였다. 결과 : 연구기간동안 총 3,251주의 황색포도알균이 분리되었으며, 이 중 MRSA는 1,900주(58.4%)였다. MRSA 가운데 CA-MRSA는 114주(6.0%) 였으며, 이들이 분리된 부위는 귀(62주), 비뇨기계(14주), 피부 및 연부조직(11주), 호흡기계(10주), 혈액(3주) 등이었다. CA-MRSA 균주 가운데 집락균은 22주, 원인병원체는 22주였으며, 나머지 균주에 대해서는 그 임상적 의미를 결정할 수 없었다. 항균제 감수성 검사를 시행한 73균주 중 47주(64.4%)는 다제내성이었다. CA-MRSA 감염증 22예 중 피부 및 연부조직 감염(9예)과 중이염/외이도염(9예)이 가장 흔하였다. 침습적 감염증(invasive infection)은 4명(원발성 균혈증 3예, 감염성 관절염 1예)에서 확인되었지만, CA-MRSA 감염증으로 사망한 환자는 없었다. 결론 : 병원내 감염증에서는 MRSA가 심각한 문제이지만, 아직까지 지역사회 감염증에서 CA-MRSA는 흔하지 않았다. Background : Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infection has emerged in patients who do not have the established risk factors. In Korea, little is known about the epidemiology and clinical features of community-associated MRSA (CA-MRSA). Material and Methods : Clinical microbiology laboratory databases of 7 hospitals were reviewed to identify the patients from whom MRSA was isolated during the period of January to July 2005. Only one isolate per patient was enrolled. In order to identify the risk factors of MRSA acquisition, the medical records and the Health Insurance Review Agency databases were reviewed. CA-MRSA was defined as MRSA isolated from patient without established risk factors. We analyzed patient demographics, underlying medical conditions, characteristics of infection, and antimicrobial susceptibility profiles. Results : Of total 3,251 S. aureus isolates, 1900 (58.4%) were MRSAs. Of the MRSA isolates, 114 (6.0%) were CA-MRSA. Of 114 CA-MRSA isolates, 22 (19.3%) were colonizers, 22 (19.3%) were pathogens, and the clinical significance of remaining 70 (61.4%) could not be determined. Median age of the 22 patients with CA-MRSA disease was 47 years. Nine patients had skin and soft tissue infections, 9 ear infections, 3 bacteremia, 1 septic arthritis. Seven patients had underlying medical disease. None died of the CA-MRSA infections. Of the 73 isolates of CA-MRSA, 47 (64.4%) were resistant to more than 3 classes of antibiotics besides β-lactams. Conclusion : Although MRSA is highly prevalent among hospital-associated S. aureus infection, CA-MRSA infections are not common.

        The purpose of this study was to explore the attitudes about smoking and factor analysis among college women. The subject were 347 female students selected by random sampling from Gimcheon College in Korea. The data were collected by survey methods a period of 7days. The data were analyzed by SPSS 10.0 version, T-test. F-test and factor analysis. Analysis of the data resulted in identification of 8 factors in general group and 5 factors in smoking group. Major factor were involved in curiosity, viewpoint of smoking, health belief, friend-relationship, image, body weight loss, fault, and viewpoint of opposite sex The characteristics of smoking behavior: 1. The meaning of smoking behavior in college women is justifiable orregretable. 2. Smoking behavior is related to the perception of harmfulness to health, influence of 2nd generation. 3. Smoking in college women is not caused by antagonism toward male smokers. 4. The first smoking time was middle school students It is suggested that the results of this study may contribute to the development of strategies for the purpose of decreasing smoking behav-ior among female college students.

      • 조선후기 서울 음악인의 연주행위에 대한 보상체계 연구

        The compensation for the performance of meeting the external demand in the dimension of communication is the proper reward for the labor. In this respect, the compensation system has its universal ground. However, the space where the communication of music was achieved in the traditional society was very diverse and the form of compensation system was not uniform. For example, the purposes of performance were respectively different in cases of the ordinary performance and the conduct of special ceremony. In addition, the compensation system became different according to the specific conditions of the promoter, such as social, economic, and intellectual state. There are various compensation systems as follows: the active supports of the music activity by employing the musicians in their house, by giving the professional musicians the chance to perform the music freely, by promoting the expeditionary performance to the local area for the regional exchange of musicians, and by granting the government service as an honorary post. The compensation system for the performance served as an incentive to the musicians directly or indirectly. The musicians who had a high level of skill as professionals were guaranteed the best reward for their performance. To acquire the highest speciality of their music and to reach the most artistic stage, they tried their best continuously. The compensation for the trial sometimes ceased to be self-satisfactory without any grant but in other cases, it gave an enormous reward or mental compensation through the grant of honorary post. These kinds of compensation functioned as the materialistic base for the new artistic creation as well as the ground of musician's living conditions. At the moment, the subject of the compensation was the patrons of the art and the object of it was the professional musicians. The patronage of the artistic patron was sometimes disfunctional because it made the musician 'the subordinate technician'. However, it is true that the patronage of the artistic patrons contributed to the prosperity of music culture in the late Joseon Dynasty.

        병식 평가 척도-한국판(SUMD-K)의 신뢰도와 타당도 검증

        Objectives : This study was conducted to evaluate the reliability and the validity of the Korean version of the Scale to Assessment Unawareness of Mental Disorder (SUMD-K). Methods : The subjects were 55 schizophrenic patients between ages of 26 and 58 who were recruited from the psychiatric unit of the university hospital and the out-patient clinic. The SUMD-K and insight scale of PANSS were applied to the patients. Results : The range of inter-rater (Spearman's rho) of the general items of SUMD-K were .97-.98 on the current illness and .58-.98 on the past illness. The correlation coefficient between the sum and the general items of the SUMD-K showed high scores. The concurrent validity between SUMD-K and insight item of PANSS was high (scores between .59-.96). However,the reliability and the validity of the attribution items of symptoms showed low scores compared to the current symptoms. Conclusion : The SUMD-K was confirmed in its reliability and validity. It can be a useful clinician-rating scale for evaluating insight in schizophrenic patients as well as patients with other neuropsychiatric conditions.

        홍경모의 『國朝樂歌』연구

        『국조악가』 홍경모가 19세기 국가전례(national rituals)를 위한 악장을 모아 놓은 악장 모음집이다. 보다 정확하게 표현한다면 당시 국가전례에 쓰이거나, 혹은, 아직 쓰이고 있지는 않지만 언젠가 쓰이면 좋을 악장의 형태를 모으거나 수정하거나 보완하여 지은 것이다. 역대 우리나라 樂歌로 종묘, 교사, 사직, 선농, 선잠제, 대보단, 문묘 등의 吉禮에 쓰이는 악장, 조회, 연향 등의 嘉禮에 쓰이는 악장을 모으고 저자 자신의 견해를 추가하여 보완해야 할 부분이나 수정해야 할 내용 등을 포함시켜 엮었으며, 고대 중국의 葛天氏 아래로 三代, 三皇 이하 殷에 이르는 십대(十代)의 이름으로만 전해지는 고대악가를 새로 지어 엮은 악장 모음집이다. 그러나 『국조악가』에 수록된 여러 악장과 儀禮는 홍경모가 제시한 틀 그대로 실행된 것은 아니다. 따라서 19세기 중반 당시의 국가전례에 실제 사용하기 위한 책이라기 보다는 홍경모가 생각하고 있는 국가전례의 이상적 틀을 제시한 책으로 평가된다. Kukjo'akga is a collection of Akjang(樂章) for the national rituals in the nineteenth century compiled by Hong Kyeong-mo. To be precisely speaking, this book was a more revised and supplemented anthology of Akjang including the Akjang which could be used for the national rituals in the future. This book collected the Akjang that were used in auspicious ceremonies, such as sacrificial rites for the Royal ancestor(宗廟), farming(先農), sericulture(先蠶), and confucian shrine(文廟) etc. with Hong Kyeong-mo's annotation, and revised the ancient songs sung in the official ceremonies handed down from the early ancient China. However, the various Akjang and rituals shown by Hong, Kyeong-mo in Kukjoakga were not equally performed in actuality. Therefore, this anthology can be evaluated as a book presenting the ideal frame of the national rituals Hong Kyeong-mo thought rather than a practical book used for the real rituals in the middle nineteenth century.
