As modern people's interest in health grows, wearable healthcare-related technologies that can collect biometric information and receive health-related services regardless of time and place are developing. This paper proposes the healthcare system based on voice recognition function. Unlike conventional wearable healthcare systems, the proposed system provides real-time telemedicine and diagnosis and the direct connection with doctors is possible through it. And almost all functions of the application in it are operated with voice commands to lower user access barriers. Because it deals with personal information including medical information, encryption algorithms have been applied between all data movements. Finally, the healthcare system proposed in this paper is expected to increase convenience in health care and reduce the medical gap.
분무건조법을 이용한 방출 제어형 케토로락 고형지질마이크로스피어의 제제설계

Ketorolac (KA) and ketorolac tromethamine (KT) is the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and has been used widely. To improve its frequent administration by control of drug release. we prepared SLM of KA and KT using Mirj 45 and 52 as surfactants and tripalmitin and tristearin as lipids by spry drying method SLM, as a disperse system for injection, were evaluated by measurement of particle sizes. SEM and drug release pattern As a result. spherical SLM were prepared and their particle size were in the range of 25-125 μm, which were dependant on the types and contents of lipid and sururfactants. Their dissolution rate were decreased as increasing lipid contents.

Fusarum species, which are common soil saprophytes, have been implicated as a pathogen causing a variety of opportunistic infections such as keratitis, onychomycosis, burn wound infection or disseminated systemic infections in immunocompromised hosts. We report a case of cutaneous infection caused by F. verticillioides in a 59-year-old man, with a long history of diabetes mellitus and alcoholic liver cirrhosis. He presented with a few papules and fluctuant cutaneous nodules on both forearms traumatized by woodstick 4 months ago. The diagnosis of F. verticillioides infection was established by histopathologic examination and findings of tissue cultures.

To improve administration of ketolorac tromethamine, we prepared matrix tablets with Eudragit (RS 100 or 30D), diluents (avicel:lactose=l:l or Ca phosphate) and Mg stearate using wet-granulation method. Sustained release matrix tablets using Eudragit® RS 100 7 and 10% decreased dissolution rate at pH 1.2 and 68 Ca. phosphate as diluents showed more decreased dissolution rate than that of avicel:lactose (1:l). Sustained release matrix tablets using Eudragit® RS 30D also showed very effective sustained release of KT.

This study fabricated low thermal conductive polyacrylonitrile (PAN)-based carbon fibers containing cellulose particles while maintaining their mechanical properties. The high thermal conductivity of carbon fibers limits their application as a high temperature insulator in various systems such as an insulator for propulsion parts in aerospace or missile systems. By controlling process parameters such as the heat treatment temperature of the cellulose particles and the amount of cellulose added, the thermal and mechanical properties of the PANbased carbon fibers were investigated. The results show that it is possible to manufacture composite carbon fibers with low thermal conductivity. That is, thermal conductivities were reduced by the cellulose particles in the PAN based carbon fibers while at the same time, the tensile strength loss was minimized, and the tensile modulus increased.
Role of CD4+CD25high+FOXP3+ Regulatory T Cells in Psoriasis

Background: CD4+CD25high+regulatory T cells (Tregs) are considered to be of vital importance for maintaining immunologic self-tolerance and preventing autoimmune diseases. These cells have been found to be deficient in skin lesions and in the peripheral blood of patients with psoriasis. Objective: To investigate the role of Tregs in the pathogenesis of psoriasis and to evaluate the changes in Tregs in relation to the severity and the clinical course of psoriasis. Methods: Immunohistochemistry (CD3, 4, 8, 79 and FOXP3) was performed in 22 psoriatic patients compared to 5 normal controls. Flow cytometry (CD3, 4, 8, 25 and FOXP3) was performed in 18 psoriatic patients and 8 normal volunteers and reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (foxp3 mRNA) was performed in 8 psoriasis patients. Results: An increase in the FOXP3+ cell fraction was detected in the lesional psoriatic skin irrespective of the severity of psoriasis as compared with the normal skin. However, a decrease in FOXP3+ cells was observed in the samples obtained from psoriasis of `acute course`. FOXP3+ Treg populations in the blood of the `acute course` psoriasis was not different compared to that of `chronic course` psoriasis and normal controls. Conclusion: The deficiency of FOXP3+ Tregs in the lesional psoriatic skin might be responsible for the exacerbation of psoriasis. (Ann Dermatol 22(4) 397~403, 2010)

Objective To overcome the limited effectiveness of standard case management services, the Seoul Intensive Case Management program (S-ICM) for patients with serious mental illnesses was introduced in 2017. This study aimed to evaluate its effectiveness in reducing the length of hospital stay.Methods Monitoring data from April 2019 to March 2020 were retrieved from the Seoul Mental Health Welfare Center. A total of 759 participants with serious mental illnesses were included. The average length of admission per month was compared between the pre-ICM (previous year) and during-ICM periods. For post-ICM observation subgroup, average length of admission per month was compared between pre-ICM, during-ICM, and post-ICM periods. To determine the relative contributions of risk factors for during-ICM and post-ICM admission, multivariate logistic regression analyses were performed.Results The average admission stay for pre-ICM period was significantly longer than that for during-ICM period (1.47 vs. 0.26 days). Among the predictors for during-ICM admission, pre-ICM psychiatric admission was the most important risk factor, followed by medical aid beneficiary and suicidal behavior. In the subgroup analysis of the post-ICM observation period, the pre-ICM, during-ICM, and post-ICM average admission stays were 1.45, 0.29, and 0.57 days/month, respectively. There was a significant difference in the average length of stay between the pre-ICM and during-ICM periods and between the pre-ICM and post-ICM periods. Post-ICM admission risks included pre-ICM admission, S-ICM duration <3 months, and chronic unstable symptoms.Conclusion The results suggest that the S-ICM effectively reduces psychiatric hospitalization duration, at least over a short-term period.
