<P>This paper presents novel hybrid push-pull protocols for peer-to-peer video streaming. Our approaches intend to reap the best of push- and pull-based schemes by adaptively switching back and forth between the two modes according to video chunk distributions. The efficacy of the proposed protocols is validated through an evaluation study that demonstrates substantial performance gains.</P>

주문형 비디오 서비스와 라이브 스트리밍 서비스는 보편화와 급격한 성장을 바탕으로 보다 나은 품질의 스트리밍 서비스를 제공하기 위한 연구가 진행되어 왔다. 이 과정에서 P2P 시스템을 이용한 비디오 스트리밍은 서비스 공급자에게 비용상으로 큰 이점을 안겨 주었을 뿐만 아니라 사용자에게는 보다 나은 다운로드 속도를 제공하는 등 많은 장점을 가져왔다. 본 논문에서는 P2P 비디오스트리밍의 대표 방식인 push 와 pull 을 혼합하여 시기 적절하게 사용하는 새로운 push/pull 방식을 제안한다. 본 방식은 push 와 pull 을 chunk 분포도에 기초하여 선택적으로 사용하기 때문에 push 와 pull 방식의 장점을 모두 포함하게 된다

This is a study for the deformation and contact pressure of the squeezing roller used in the sizing processing industry. The deformation(roller bending) of a squeezing roller will affect the fiber property, the squeezing roller design insuring uniform contact pressure is very important. The improved squeezing roller model was obtained by changing the roller diameter, coating rubber thickness, sizing roller length and sizing roller support plate gap. As a result, the design parameters at which the deformation(roller bending) of roller was nearly uniform was found.

In the present study, polyester-melamine coating systems with natural wood fiber (NWF) were prepared and the effects of NWF on the corrosion protectiveness of the polyester-melamine coating were examined using EIS analysis. From the results, higher average surface roughness was observed with increase of NWF content. Water diffusivity and water uptake into the polyester-melamine coatings with NWF were much higher than that into the pure polyester-melamine coating. The decrease in the impedance modulus |Z| was associated with the localized corrosion on carbon steel, confirming that corrosion protection of the polyester-melamine coatings with NWF well agrees with its water transport behavior.
