청소년 자녀를 둔 한부모의 그릿에 영향을 미치는 요인 : 개인적 자원과 가족자원을 중심으로

그릿(Grit)은 장기적인 목표를 달성하고자 하는 열정과 인내를 의미하며, 심리적 건강과 적응을 예측하는 성격 특성이다. 본 연구는 한부모가 다양한 어려움 속에서도 자녀양육에 관심을 가지고 꾸준히 노력할 수 있도록 한부모의 그릿을 향상시킬 수 있는 실제적인 자원들을 밝히고자 하였다. 한국아동·청소년패널조사 2018(KCYPS 2018)의 4차년도 패널자료를 활용하 여 총 284명의 한부모를 대상으로 빈도, 평균 등의 기술통계 및 상관관계분석을 실시하였으며, 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하여 한부모의 그릿에 영향을 미치는 인구사회학적 변인, 개인적 자원(심리자원, 생활시간 및 건강 자원), 가족자원(가족관계 및 자녀 자원, 경제자원)을 탐색하였다. 첫째, 상관관계 분석결과, 한부모의 그릿은 인구사회학적 변인 중 연령, 학력, 개인적 자원 중 삶의 만족도, 행복감, 자아존중감, 스마트폰 의존도, 운동시간, 아침식사 횟수, 가족자원 중 가구원수, 자녀성 적만족도, 자녀학교생활만족도, 주관적 가정경제수준, 월평균 사교육비와 유의한 상관관계를 보였다. 둘째, 위계적 회귀분석 을 실시한 결과, 인구사회학적 변인 중 학력, 개인적 자원 중 자아존중감, 근로 여부, 스마트폰 의존도, 운동시간, 가족자원 중 가구원수, 자녀성적만족도, 주관적 가정경제수준이 한부모의 그릿에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 한부모가 자녀양육을 잘 해낼 수 있도록 한부모의 그릿을 증진시키는 개인 및 가족 자원을 밝혔으며, 이를 통해 한부모가족의 안정적인 자녀양육 환경을 조성하기 위한 프로그램 및 정책의 방향성을 제시하였다는 점에서 연구의 의의가 있다. Grit is a personʼs passion and perseverance that drive them to achieve long-term and meaningful goals. The purpose of this study was to identify practical resources that can affect single parentsʼ grit. Using the fourth-year panel data from the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey 2018 (KCYPS 2018), descriptive statistics were produced and a correlation analysis was conducted for 284 single parents. Hierarchical regression analysis was also performed to explore the demographic factors, personal resources(psychological, lifestyle/health), and family resources(family relationships/child, economic) that affect single parentsʼ grit. First, the correlation analysis revealed that single parentsʼ grit had a significant correlation with age, education status, life satisfaction, happiness, self-esteem, smartphone dependency, physical activity time, frequency of breakfast consumption, household size, parentʼs satisfaction with childʼs school achievement and school adjustment, subjective family economic status, and private education expenses. Second, the hierarchical regression analysis revealed that education status, self-esteem, employment status, smartphone dependency, physical activity time, household size, parentʼs satisfaction with childʼs school achievement, and subjective family economic status were significant factors affecting single parentsʼ grit. Based on the research results, this study suggests directions for programs and policies to provide a stable environment for single-parent families to raise their children.

가족친화적 지역사회 특성과 초등학령기 자녀를 둔 취업모의 삶의 만족도 : 일-가족 갈등 및 촉진의 매개효과

본 연구는 가족친화적 지역사회 특성이 초등학령기 자녀를 둔 취업모의 삶의 만족도에 어떠한 관련이 있는지를 살펴보고 그 관계가 취업모의 일-가족 갈등과 촉진에 의해 매개되는지를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해, 한국아동패널(Panel Study on Korean Children, PSKC) 11차년 자료(2019) 중 취업모 627명의 응답자료를 사용하였고, PROCESS를 사용하여 다중매 개효과 분석을 실시하였다. 주요 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 이웃의 지지수준이 높을수록 일-가족 촉진이 유의하게 높으며 이는 삶의 만족도를 유의하게 높이는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 양육환경 적절성과 지역사회 서비스인프라 이용만족도는 일-가족 촉진을 높이고 갈등을 낮추는 것을 통해 삶의 만족도와 유의한 관련성을 보이는 간접효과를 확인하였 다. 특히, 양육환경 적절성은 일-가족 갈등 및 촉진에 의한 간접효과 외에도 삶의 만족도에 직접적으로 관련된 변인으로 나타났다. 반면, 지역사회 서비스인프라 접근 편리성은 일-가족 촉진을 낮춰 삶의 만족도를 낮추는 것으로 나타나, 이와 관련한 후속연구가 필요함을 확인하였다. 이상의 연구결과를 통해, 지역사회의 가족친화적 특성이 취업모의 일-가족 상호접 점에 유의하게 관련된 요인임을 확인하고, 지역사회차원에서 이러한 특성을 향상시키고자 하는 노력을 지속적으로 확대해야 할 경험적 근거를 제공했다는 점에서 연구의 의의가 있다. This study examined the relationship between family-friendly community characteristics and the life satisfaction of working mothers with elementary school children, and investigated whether the relationship was mediated by work-family conflict and facilitation of working mothers. For the analysis, the study used the response data of 627 working mothers from the 11th wave of the Panel Study on Korean Children (PSKC, 2019) and multi-mediation effect analyses were conducted using PROCESS. The main results are as follows. First, the higher neighbor support, the higher the work-family facilitation, which significantly increased life satisfaction. Second, the appropriateness of parenting environment and community service infrastructure satisfaction showed significant indirect effects with life satisfaction through increasing work-family facilitation and lowering work-family conflict. Moreover, the appropriateness of parenting environment was positively related with life satisfaction and it was a only variable that was directly associated with life satisfaction. On the other hand, the convenient access to community service infrastructure was found to lower work-family facilitation and lower life satisfaction, confirming the need for follow-up studies. This study shows that the family-friendly characteristics of the community are important for working mothers with elementary school-age children and provides empirical evidence to improve the family-friendly community characteristics.

가족다양성을 고려한 가족센터 사업 운영에 대한 연구 : 가족센터 실무자를 중심으로

본 연구는 「제4차 건강가정기본계획」의 ʻ가족다양성 인정ʼ이라는 주요 정책 목표 하에 운영되고 있는 가족다양성 관련 사업에 대한 가족센터 실무자의 운영 경험을 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 가족서비스 실무경험이 풍부한 시·군·구 가족센터의 센터장 혹은 중간관리자 12명을 대상으로 초점집단면접을 실시하였다. 초점집단면접 자료 분석은 중심주제분석(thematic analysis)을 사용하였다. 분석 결과를 통해 가족센터 실무자들은 가족 정책 환경 변화에 따라 가족다 양성 개념을 이해하고 가족센터 운영에 여러 형태로 적용하고 있음을 발견하였다. 그러나 가족다양성 적용을 고려한 사업 운영 과정에서 다양한 가족 사업을 위한 자원 부족, 개별 가족서비스 목표와 가족다양성 관련 사업 목표 간의 갈등, 다양한 가족 대상자 발굴의 어려움 등을 경험하고 있었다. 향후 가족다양성 관련 서비스 확대를 위해 가족다양성에 대한 종사자 교육, 지역 특성을 반영한 가족 사업 운영, 다양한 가족 이해 및 인식개선 프로그램 확대와 다양한 가족이 함께 어우러질 수 있는 사업 주제 발굴 등과 같은 운영 방식의 변화, 가족센터 홍보 강화 및 대상자 확대, 가족다양성 사업 운영을 위한 예산 확대 필요성을 강조하였다. 본 연구 결과는 가족다양성 적용과 확장을 위한 가족서비스 개편 근거 및 가족서비스 실무자가 가족다양성 관점을 적용한 가족 사업과 서비스를 기획하고 실행할 수 있는 업무 역량 강화를 위한 교육 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다. The purpose of this study is to explore the family diversity–related service experiences of Family Center practitioners under the main policy goal of recognizing family diversity set out in the Fourth Master Plan for Healthy Families. To this end, a focus group interview was conducted with 12 Family Center practitioners in multiple cities and districts who had extensive family service experiences. The focus group interview data were analyzed using thematic analysis. The analysis found that Family Center practitioners understood the concept of family diversity according to the changes in the family policy environment and applied it in various forms to the administration of their respective centers. However, while administering the family support services considering the aspect of family diversity, they experienced a lack of resources for various family service programs, conflicts between each family service goal and the family diversity-related program goal, and difficulties in identifying the recipients. To expand family diversity-related services in the future, the interviewees emphasized the need for education programs about family diversity targeted at Family Center practitioners, and family support services that reflect regional characteristics. They also stressed the need for changes in program operation methods, such as expanding family diversity education, and developing family service programs appropriate for diverse families. Lastly, they highlighted the need for mounting a publicity campaign for Family Centers, widening the target recipients of family programs, and expanding the budget for the administration of the family diversity project. The results of this study can serve as a basis for restructuring family services for the application and expansion of family diversity practices, and as educational material that can be used to strengthen the capacity of family service practitioners to plan and execute family support programs that take family diversity into consideration.
