        The characteristics of domestic sewage discharged from residential area can have a profound effect on the operation and design of sewage treatment plant. In order to improve sewage treatment and disposal alternatives effectively, investigating unit loading factors of pollutant is necessary. Investigating measurements were carried out for two residential area to quantify the unit loading factors of various pollutants. The sewage discharged from the residential areas was sampled two days a week at two sites and during four seasons. The analysis of the pollutant loadings such as BOD, COD, ss, VSS, TKN and TP were made every three hours a day. The results of the study were as follows ; (1) The average unit sewage flowrate 231 L/capita/day, (2) The average unit loadings for BOD, COD, SS, VSS, TKN and TP were computed to be 31.2, 63.9, 21.3, 18.1, 5.5 and 1.5 g/capita/day, respectively.

        구속신장시험에 의한 토목섬유의 인장력-변형률거동 특성

        In this study, stress-strain relationships were investigated by performing the confined extension tests for seven types of geosynthetics such as geotextiles, composite geosynthetics and geogrids. A comparison was made between unconfined and confined moduli for each geosynthetic material to quantify the soil confinement effect on stress-strain properties. A comparison was also made between the increase of moduli at the same strain level with the types of the geosynthetics to demonstrate the different stress-strain responses. Based on the result of the extension tests, the higher the confining stress, the larger the secant modulus of geosynthetics. The secant modulus at 5% strain is twice as much as that of 10% strain, especially there is a noticeable increasing of secant modulus for the two nonwoven geotextiles.

        다성분 농도상관행렬로부터 상관수를 구하여 횡계 송천수계의 수질상관을 알아보고자 하였다. 도암중앞의 수질에 가장 영향을 많이 미치는 지류는 재건교 지류였으며 저수지 입구의 수질은 용평입구의 지류에 큰 영향을 받고있다. The correlation of water quality in the Songcheon Stream, Hoeng-gye was investigated by correlation number derived from multi-component correlation matrix. Doam middle school station was most highly affected by Jaegeon bridge station, and Mouth of reservoir station was more affected by Yongpyung resort entrance station.

      • Baculovirus Vector System에 의해 발현된 재조합 Pseudorabies Virus Major Capsid Protein의 면역원성

        The recombinant pseudorabies virus major capsid protein (rMCP) was produced by expression of the MCP gene in Sf-9 cell using baculovirus transfer vector system. Following evaluation of the immunochemical properties of the rMCP, the immunogenicity of the recombinant subunit protiens were investigated in guinea pig and swine to obtain the preliminary guide line for the subunit vaccine using rMCP and gP50. It was proved that ultrasonication and 30% ammonium sulfate was most efficient to concentrate and purify the protein. The rMCP was safe in mice, guinea pigs and piglets. In guinea pigs, rMCP mixed with various adjuvants induced substantial degree of serum neutralizing antibody titers, but revealed incomplete protecivity against challenge. In swine, the combination of rMCP and gP50 showed the higher serum neutralizing antibody titers and cellular immune responses than rMCP alone. However, the protectivity was lower in comparison with the commercial gI-deleted inactivated vaccine. We expect these results to contribute to characterization of MCP gene of Korean isolate of PRV and to ultilize as preliminary information for prodution and evaluation of PRV recombinant subunit vaccines.

      • 개선된 구조의 3.3V CMOS 전류모드 적분기 설계

        In this paper, a CMOS current-mode integrator adequate to design low-voltage, low-power and high frequency application circuit. The designed current-mode integrator has a new architecture that is simple. When the designed integrator is compared with typical current-mode integrator, the new integrator has lower power dissipation, lower chip size and higher frequency range. The results of PSPICE simulation using ORBIT company's 1.2㎛ CMOS n-well processing parameter shows that 1.2mW power dissipation for 3.3V power supply.

      • 해조 원형질체 분리를 위한 한국산 조식동물에서의 세포벽 분해효소의 개발 2.명주고둥 아세톤분말의 Alginate lyase 효소안정성에 대하여

        Alginate lyase from Chlorostma xanthostigma was stabilized in vitro by optimizing buffer ingradients. The extraction buffer consists of 25mM acetate, pH 5.5, 20mM MgCl₂, 100mM NaCl and 3mM PMSF. The alginate lyase extracted with this buffer gave a decay rate of less then 1% per hr at 30℃ for at least 6h. In vitro instability of alginate lyase may be due to proteolytic degradation.

      • 강릉수력발전소의 발전수 방류가 강릉남대천의 수질에 미치는 영향

        강릉수력발전소의 발전수 방류가 강릉 남대천의 수질에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 1988년 5월 (방류전) 및 1991년 5월 (방류후)의 두번에 걸쳐 7개 정점에서 하천수를 채취하고 수온, 수소이온농도, 용존산소량, 생물화학적산소요구량, 화학적 산소요구량, 질산태 질소, 아질산태 질소, 암모니아태 질소 및 무기인산의 농도를 측정하였다. 또 발전수 방류 전후의 각 정점간의 유사도를 알아보고자 집괴분석을 시도하였다. 그 결과 정점 3상류지역의 강릉수력발전소 방류는 수질에 상당한 영향을 끼쳐 정점 3 및 정점 4의 수질은 악화되고 정점 5, 정점 6 및 정점 7의 수질은 개선되었으며, 수질측면에서 강릉수력발전소 발전수 방류 상류지역(정점 1 및 정점 2)과 강릉수력발전소 발전수 방류 하류지역(정점 3∼정점 7)으로 집괴가 뚜렷히 구별됨을 알 수 있었다. To elucidate the effect of water outflow Kangnung Hydropower Plant on the water quality of Namdaecheon Stream, Kangnung, water temperature, DO, BOD, COD, NO₃-N, NO₂-N, NH₄-N and PO₄-P of the water samples of May, 1988 (before the outflow) and May, 1991 (after the outflow) from seven stations were analyzed. Cluster analysis was also applied for the grouping of seven stations before and after the outflow. The water outflow above station 3 affected the water quality significantly; the water quality of station 3 and station 4 took a turn for the worse, however that of station 5, station 6 and station 7 changed for the better. The seven stations were clearly clustured into 2 groups on the water quality basis, upstream (station 1 and station 2) and downstream (station 3∼station 7).

      • 맥반석 첨가에 의한 녹차 수용성 추출물의 수율 및 항산화 효과

        맥반석 입자의 크기별 (10,325 및 600 mesh)로 용출시킨 수용액으로 침출시캔 녹차 추출물을 얻어 생리활성 물질 함량 및 항산화 활성을 측정하였다. 그결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 수율은 325 mesh 추출물에서 가장 높은 27.2%를 나타내었다. 2. 총 폴리패놀 화합물 함량은 56.2~59.5 mg/g를 나타내었다. 3. DPPH법에 의한 항산화 활성은 0.01%에서 61.0~64.2% 범위였다. 4. TBARS법에 의한 항산화 활성은 36.2~75.8& 이었다. Measuring the amount of physiologically active compounds and antioxidative activity of green tea extract made by a solution eluted by various sized of quartz porphyry. The results are as follows; 1. The yield at its most at 325 mesh presenting 27.2% 2. Total amount of polyphenol compound was 56.2~59.5 mg/g and for the glutamic acid the total amount was 15~635 mg/g 3. Performing DPPH method at 0.01%, the antioxidative activity showed 61.0~64.2% 4. The antioxidative activity measured based on TBARS method showed 36.2~75.8%

      • 도암호의 수화현상과 환경요인분석

        수화를 일으키는 원인종을 찾고, 수화에 미치는 각각의 환경요인의 영향을 밝히기 위하여 요인분석을 시도하였다. 수화를 일으키는 원인종은 Microcystis aeruginosa로 밝혀졌다. 제1요인은 식물성 플랑크톤에 의한 수화와 관계가 있었는데 이는 엽록소 a에 대한 인자부하량이 +0.93으로 나타났기 때문이다. 식물성 플랑크톤은 호소표층수에서 인을 소모시키는 것으로 나타났으며 pH, 부유물질량, 탁도등을 증가시켰다. 제2요인은 유기오염과 관계가 있었는데 이는 생물화학적 산소요구량과 대장균군수의 인자부하량이 각각 +0.68과 +0.78로 나타났기 때문이다. The water bloom forming species were investigated, and factor analysis was applied to scrutinize the influence of different environmental factor on water blooming. The water bloom forming species was identified as Microcystis aeruginosa. The first factor was phytoplankton blooming, because it has positive loadings for chlorophy11 a (+0.93). It showed that phytoplankton cause deprivation of phosphorus from lake surface water and increases of pH, suspended solid and turbidity. The second factor was organic pollution because it has positive loadings for biochemical oxygen demand (+0.68) and MPN (+0.78).
