This paper describes experimental investigation on the forming limit for mash-seam welded sheets. The uniaxial tensile test was conducted to evaluate the mechanical properties of weld bead. Experimental forming limit diagrams were investigated for the different thicknesses and properties of welded sheets.
Baculovirus Vector System에 의해 발현된 재조합 Pseudorabies Virus Major Capsid Protein의 면역원성

The recombinant pseudorabies virus major capsid protein (rMCP) was produced by expression of the MCP gene in Sf-9 cell using baculovirus transfer vector system. Following evaluation of the immunochemical properties of the rMCP, the immunogenicity of the recombinant subunit protiens were investigated in guinea pig and swine to obtain the preliminary guide line for the subunit vaccine using rMCP and gP50. It was proved that ultrasonication and 30% ammonium sulfate was most efficient to concentrate and purify the protein. The rMCP was safe in mice, guinea pigs and piglets. In guinea pigs, rMCP mixed with various adjuvants induced substantial degree of serum neutralizing antibody titers, but revealed incomplete protecivity against challenge. In swine, the combination of rMCP and gP50 showed the higher serum neutralizing antibody titers and cellular immune responses than rMCP alone. However, the protectivity was lower in comparison with the commercial gI-deleted inactivated vaccine. We expect these results to contribute to characterization of MCP gene of Korean isolate of PRV and to ultilize as preliminary information for prodution and evaluation of PRV recombinant subunit vaccines.
수박 종자에서 Pseudomonas pseudoalcaligenes subsp. citrulli의 분리를 위한 선택배지

A semiselctive agar medium(PSC) was developed for the isolation of Pseudomonas pseudoalcaligenes subsp. citrulli(Ps.c.) from watermelon seed. The medium contains following per liter : 20g proteose peptone #3, 5.0㎖ glycerol, 1.5g K2HPO4, 1.5g MgSO47H2O, 15g agar, 1㎎ ampicillin, 100㎎ cycloheximide 1㎖ 1.5% bromthymol blue, 1㎖ 1.0% methyl violet and 1㎎ vancomycin. Colonies of Ps.c. were 3-4㎜ in diameter, smooth, round, slight convext, dark green(lighter margin) and glistening after 5 days at 39C on the PSC medium. The recovery of 10 strains including ATTC type 29625, on PSC medium in comparison to KB ranged from 93% to 105%(mean 97.8%). Reduction in seed flora of 10 watermelon seed lots on PSC medium was 97.2%. Recovery of Ps.c. added to watermelon seed ranged from 91.3% to 103.4%(mean 96.7%).
초기재령에 있어서 고강도콘크리트의 내동해성 평가에 관한 실험적 연구

Recently, the structure are more higher and larger, so that the application of high-strength concrete is increased. And as the development of construction skills, it is possible to place during the winter. Concrete work during winter is indispensable to shorten time of completion and cut costs. When Concrete work during winter is placed, it has anxiety that concrete freeze at low temperature. As repetition of concrete's freezing cause reduction of durability, it is necessary for mixing to pay attention to Air contents and W/C ratios. Accordingly, in this study, we estimate the Frost Resistance by Air contents and W/C ratios, and development of strength after Early-Frost Damage in the High-Strength Concrete during the cold weather. In this study, it could be confirmed that factors which were Air contents, W/C ratios and early curing period, affected on the Frost Resistance.

Aujeszky's disease virus(ADV), NYJ-1 strain, isolated from the diseased piglets in Korea was inactivated with binary ethyleneimine or formalin and absorbed in aluminum hydroxide gel. Safety and humoral and cellular immunogenicity of the antigens were investigated in mouse, guinea pig and piglets. In mouse inoculation test, the antigens showed 100% of safety and induced a significant level of ADV antibody. The protective potency following intracerebral challenge with the virulent ADV at 10^7.5TCID_50/0.2㎖ were 60% to 64.3%. In guinea pig inoculation test, it was found that the antigens were quite safe, inducing 63.2 to 124.9 of virus neutralization(VN) titers at the 5th week post inoculation(pi). The protectivity of the antigens against the challenge of the virulent ADV were 62.5% to 75.0%. In piglet inoculation test, the antigens were quite safe after the primary and booster injections, and induced 28.7 to 39.1 of VN titers at the 5th week pi. The high levels of ADV antibodies were also recognized by agar gel precipitation test, latex agglutination test and immunoenzyme assays. Leucocyte adherence inhibition(LAI) test for the piglets revealed 22.3±3.8% to 32.8±6.9% of LAI index at the 4th week pi, and the evident reactions of delayed type hypersensitivity was observed in subcutaneous inoculation of the antigen to the immunized piglets. Following the challenge, the immunized piglets showed none of specific clinical signs of AD and revealed the higher gain of body weight, and the lower secretion of ADV from the nasal cavity as compared with the control group.

This paper is related to the image restoration which is one of the image processing technologies, mainly used in multimedia technology nowadays. If the image gets faded and noised, it comes difficult to utilize the image. In this case, the image restoration method is mainly used. The early image restoration method employed concept in frequency domain, algebraic technology is recently a lot being used. In this paper, proposed method to restore the distorted image using optimization faculty of the genetic algorithm. Initial predictive image group is generated from the distorted image in order to get the original image. Genetic operation is applied to the individuals in the produced group in order to generate the next generation predictive image group. Predictive image which approaches the original image is obtained after generating several generations through reiterating this procedure.
