        Duck Ho Oh.1997. A Study of the Narrative Degree in the Gospels. Collected Papers on Christian Language Culture, A narrative shows a complex system of tellers or voices located on various levels (narrative degrees) of the discourse. Narrative degrees are determined by who the teller is and who the audience is. Since the meaning of the passage is profoundly influenced by the teller and the audience of the passage, the study of the narrative degrees of the Gospels is crucial to understand them. Several important merits of the study of the narrative degrees are to help the reader 1) to decide the extent of a passage: 2) to find the unity of the passage; 3) to recognize the irony of the text; and 4) to understand the message of a text more clearly (Honam Theological University & Seminary)

      • 야생너구리(Nyctereutes procyonoides)의 혈액 및 혈액화학치

        This study was performed to determine the blood and blood chemical values on captured 16 raccoon dogs (Nyctereutes procyonoides). Hematological examination revealed that RBC, Hb, PCV, MCV, MCH and MCHC values were 7.9±0.8x10^(6)/㎕, 14.0±2 g/dl, 44.1±5.5 %, 56.9±3.8 fl, 18.0±1.4 pg and 31.9±2.9 g/dl. respectively, and also revealed that WBC, neutrophil, lymphocyte. eosinophil and monocyte values were 13.6±2.4x10^(3)/㎕, 8.9±2.1x10^(3)/㎕, 2.7±0.8x10^(3)/㎕, 1.1±0.5x10^(3)/㎕ and 1.0±0.4x10^(3)/㎕, respectively. Blood chemical examination showed that total protein, albumin, globulin and A/G ratio values were 7.9±0.9 g/dl, 3.0±0.3 g/dl, 4.8±0.7 g/dl and 0.6±0.1, respectively, and also showed that ALT, AST, BUN. Creatinine and glucose values were 95.8±57.8 1U/ℓ, 64.4±30.1 1U/ℓ, 20.8±5.4 ㎎/dl, 0.7±0.1 ㎎/dl and 58.5±19.1 ㎎/dl, respectively.

      • 내부 EGR 효과를 이용한 메탄-공기 예혼합기의 연소특성에 관한 연구

        Exhaust gas emissions from internal combustion engines are one of the major sources of air pollution. And, it is extremely difficult to increase gasoline engine efficiency and to reduce NOx and PM(particulate matter) simultaneously in diesel combustion. This paper offers some basic concepts to overcome the above problems. To solve the problems, a recommended technique is CAI(controlled auto-ignition) combustion. In this paper, internal EGR(exhaust gas recirculation) effect is suggested to realize CAI combustion. An experimental study was carried out to achieve CAI combustion using homogeneous premixed gas mixture in the constant volume combustion chamber(CVCC). A flame trap was used to simulate internal EGR effect in the CVCC. Flame propagation photos and pressure signals were acquired to verify internal EGR effect. Flame trap creates high speed burned gas jet. It achieves higher flame propagation speed and more stable combustion due to the effect of geometry and burned gas jet.

        여성호르몬 대체요법후 체중변화와 베타3 아드레날린 수용체 유전자형의 연관성에 관한 연구

        연구배경: 폐경 전후에서의 체중 증가와 여성호르몬과의 연관성이 지속적으로 논의되어왔다 교감 신경계는 지방대사를 촉진하여 대사적 열생산을 증가시키는 작용을 가지고 있으므로 이와 관련하여 베타3아드레날린 수용체의 유전자형이 폐경여성에서 여성호르몬 대체요법 이후의 체중증가와 연관이 있는지를 밝히고자 본 연구를 시행하였다. 방법: 1995년부터 2002년 5월까지 삼성제일병윈 비만클리닉 및 갱년기 클리닉에 방문하여 여성 호르몬 대체요법을 시행 받았으며, 폐경에 관련한 과거력, 여성 호르몬 투여 전후의 체중, 체질량 지수에 대한 자료를 확보할 수 있곤, 베타3 아드레날린 수용체 유전자의 다형성을 분석한 92명을 최종 연구 대상자로 하였다. 결과: 베타3 아드레날린 수용체 유전자 다형성 분포는 Trp64Trp형 39.1%, Trp64Arg형 25.0%,Arg64Arg형 34.8%,로 나타났다 여성호르몬 투여 전 체중의 평균은 61.07±7.06이었으며, 여성 호르몬대체요법 후 체중 변화의 평균은 1.28±3.20 증가로 나타났으나, 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다 β3 아드레날린 수용체 유전자 아형에 따른 체중의 평균 변화는 Trp64Trp형에서 1.86±2.94 증가, Trp64Arg형 0.74±2.97 증가, Arg64Arg형 1,00±3.61 증가로 나타났으나 이들 모두 통계적 유의성은 없었으며, 세 아형간의 변화량도 유의하지 않았다. 결론: 폐경여성에서 여성호르몬 대체요법 후 체중이 증가하였으나 통계적으로 유의하지 않았으며, β3아드레날린 수용체 유전자 아형에 따른 차이를 관찰할 수 없었다. Background: The study results to determine the relationship between postmenopausal estrogen use and weight gain have not been consistent. Genetic studies have reported the association of BMI with the beta3-adrenergic receptor gene polymorhism. This study as designed to indentify association of beta3-adrenergic receptor gene polymorhism with weight gain related to HRT in postmenopausal women. Methods: 192 postmenopausal women at a general hospital, Bariatric and climacteric clinic have been collected. Subtypes of beta3 adrenergic receptors were measured and physical, anthropomeric data including body fat and BMI was obtained before and after HRT. Results: Arg/Arg group was 34.8%, Trp/Arg group was 25.0%, Trp/Trp group was 39.1%. Mean weight gain in 192 postmenopausal women was 1.28±3.20 kg and the percent changes in weight gain between initial and final point was 2.32±5.66% but these resulst had no statistical significance (p>0.05). Weight gain(%) were 2.24%(95% C.I 0.35~4.13) in Arg/Arg group, 1.08%(-1.17~3.29) in Trp/Arg group and 3.18%(1.49~4.92) in Trp/Trp, but these results did not show statistical significance(F=1.13, p=0.03). Conclusion: Polymorphism of beta3 adrenergic receptor gene was not associated with weight gain after HRT in postmenopausal women. From these results, we may conclude that polymorhism of beta3 adrenergic receptor may not be the predicting factor to understand the weight gain after HRT in postmenopausal women.

      • 가막만에 분포하는 대형저서동물의 계절적 분포 및 출현

        This study was coducted to describe the distribution and appearance pattern of macrobenthos in Kamak Bay, the southern coastal of Korea. Sampling was perfound seasonally using Van Veen grab(0.1㎡) from April 2001 to December 2001. A total of 22 macrobenthic species occured: Bivalvia accounted for 12 species(55%), and Mollusca 5 species(23%). The mean density of macrobenthos was 153.9ind./㎡, a major dominant species were a Bivalvia, Paphia undulata(28.3ind./㎡), and a Cirripedia, Chthamalus challengeri(5ind./㎡), which frequency occur in the costral area. These species showed very low density at station 1 in the Kamak Bay.

      • 種目別 運動選手들의 足型과 體格에 關한 硏究

        On the supposition that feet have a certain influences on each athletic sports playing ability, athletic lessons should need to be given under the obvious recognition of the relationship between athletic ability and weight, height, chestgirth and essential foot shapes which consist of foot-length, foot-width, interior-height, outerior-height ankle-width, foot-round and LR angle. And by analzing statistically foot-shape conditions through study of subject of the athlete with over 3 years of experience according to each athletics. I aimed at athletic lesson teaching, reasonable player-plcking out efficient training measure, gaining basic data for the improvement of playing ability Used 1BM system of Electronic computer room of korea univ., and gotten these conclusions. 1. ‘Body build’turned out to be larger in each group of Korean-style wrestling and sprint players, and smaller in each group of distance race and field hockey players, than other groups. And it is found that weight and cheat girth are different according to each athletic sports. 2. ‘Foot shape’ judging from correlation between foot-length, foot-round and foot-weidth, it is showed that thin leg of each group of distance race and cycling players are suitable for endurance, and short foot-length and wide foot-width of each group of Korean style wrestling, field hockey players is stable to balance. Each group of foot shape shows an alogical difference in foot-width, outerior-height and foot-round(p<0.005), and analogical difference in foot-length, interior, foot-round and L-R angle(p<0.05). 3. Real angle turned out to be largest in a group of cycling players, and smallest in a group of fencing players.

      • 韓國國民學校 敎科書에 登場하는 人物像에 관한 硏究

        Purpose: Text-books for elementary school have been examined, classfied and assessed in order to give essential resource to those who have influences on youngsters in elementary schools to form their character. Method: Following to the method of contents analysis, the preference of names listed in this paper was defined only to those figures who were explained to get youngsters to accept their view of value, in other words the pofriles concerned mainly with a means of interpreting of historical events or of other educational functions were excluded. Therefore, the total number of 77 text books for elementary school, 9 subjects from the first grade to sixth, has formerly been examined. Outcome: 1. The educational idea was concentrated on the instruction for allegiance, namely, the overwhelming majority was classfied to belong among such patriots as those who dedicated to their home country for the restoration of independence or to get over the national disasters. 2. Most of them were not only Koreans and tended to follow formally stipulated social norms but also loyal-oriented. It was derived from the characteristic of Korean history that was weaved in a sense with the incessant foreign invasions and against them throughout its long past. 3. Most great men were composed of the upper classes and in the proportion of frequencies to the apperance, females appeared much less than males. This tendency seems to reflect implicity class consiousness. 4. The foreigners could be distinguishable as those who dedicated to their society by their own striving as well as by their own establishment. 5. The verbal portraits of Koreans depicted in stereo-typed phrases and also in complete, super-beings. Therefore, the distance between the extremes was so immense that there might be some difficulties for youngsters'making a comparision between them to get kids to accept supermen's norms of value. 6. Most Koreans can hardly instil the ideas to criticize the contradictions of social systems and to reform the social evils into youngsters, because thay acted in obedience to the specified social institutions. Suggestion 1. There should be also listed such persons who dedicated to their country not at the cost of life or self-renunciation, but with self-respect or self-affirmation. 2. The lower people is expectant to appear more frequently in the text books and women, too. 3. In the way of verbal-portraits, it is an advisable way of expression to represent them not as complete, super-persons, but as those who can have mutual relations with ordinary persons, and also they shold not be represented as they became well-kwown from beginning of their birth, but the way of depicting the greatness should be replaced by as many famous men have emerged from common people and poverty, mean surroundings.

      • 大學柔道選手들의 Body Density 推定回歸式 作成

        The purpose of this study was to measure accurately the body fat of 37 male university Judo players based on the underwater weighing method, to calculate the body density and the body fat using Futrex, Impedance, Caliper, Skyndex and Ultra-sound and to present the prediction formula of residual volume and calculate the body density by regression equations based on the data from anthropometric measurements. 1. The body % fat of Judo players from the underwater weighing method was 72± 2.44%. 2. The residual volume was 1.3350±0.2476(1) by the oxygen rebreathing method and 1.0977±0.1238(1) by the indirect method of vital capacity. The regression equation using the vital capacity was : Residual volume(1)=0.2165+0.000245×vital capacity. 3. The regression equations of the body density calculated from the measurement of skinfold thickness were as follows: The body density by Caliper(g/ml)=1.0941-0.00088×subscapular-0.001026×triceps. The body density by Skyndex(g/ml)=1.0932-0.001137×subscapular-0.00070×triceps. The body density by Ultra-sound(g/ml)=1.1095-0.00306×triceps-0.0015×femoral. 4. The regression equations of the body density caculated from anthropometric measurements were as follow: 1) The regression equation of the body fat on skinfold thickness The body density(g/ml)+1.1007+0.000507×grith of hip-0.00145×grith of thigh+0.00122×grith of lower thigh. 2) The regression equation of the body density based on skinfold thickness by Caliper, grith of the body, height, weight and age. 3) The regression equation of the body density based on skinfold thickness by skyndex, grith of the body, height, weight and age. The body density(g/ml)=1.0808-0.0010The regression equation of the body density based on skinfold thickness by subscapular-0.0011The regression equation of the body density based on skinfold thickness by triceps+0.0002×height-0.0016×age. 4) The regression equation of the body density based on skinfold thickness by Ultra-sound, grith of the body, height, weigth, and age. The body density(g/ml)=1.1228-0.0030×triceps-0.0017×femora+0.0004×minimum grith of lower thigh-0.0010×age.
