        스트레스 측정의 방법론적, 기술적 고찰

        The purpose of this study is to research and develop a Stress Measurement Model for disabled persons who face greater challenges to their mental stability due to limitations placed on their life by various physical handicaps. Prior to this, the systematic study of stress closely related to mental and physical health was attempted almost entirely through theoretical and methodological approaches. On the contrary, this study proposes the reconceptualization of stress, a revaluation of the factors influencing stress, and the development of a specific method of stress measu rement. In order to approach the problem of the reappraisal of the concept of stress itself, we tried to reconceptualize the idea of permanent stress by elaborating upon a biochemical model developed by Hans Selye(1936) and Pierre and Henri Loo(1986). We further considered a socio-psychological concept of stress formed within a socio-occupational envi ronment. From the methodological point of view we explored the type of stress which may be caused by person-environment interactions. We proposed research problems and developed stress measurement methods Wlich were based on biochemical, psychosocial, and psychopathological factors. The research problems focused on are as follows : 1. What is the function of stress in human life? 2. What kind of stress is the greatest priority to reduce? 3. In what ways can stress be reduced, not only in daily life, but in occupational situation? 4. How can we establish a correlation model of stress to properly benefit human beings' efficiency and vitality? 5. How can we relieve the feeling of powerlessness experienced by so many human beings? If the concept of stress, which has become a topic across many fields of both the social and hard sciences, can be acknowledged as an operational concept, it would be useful for the promotion of health and for the rehabililitation of our clients.

        스트레스-대처 모델의 통합적 접근에 관한 고찰

        The concept of stress has received considerable theoretical and empirical attention in recent years, yet much confusion and controversy remain. Attempts have been made to integrate various points of view. While the concept of coping is intimately tied to that of stress, it has been largely neglected by researchers until rather recently. There was a growing conviction that all coping processes, including those traditionally considered undesirable such as defense mechanisms, have both positive and negative consequences for an individual, and that any evaluation of coping and adaptation must take into account diverse levels of analysis and the specific nature of the situation in question. This study attempted to integrate two theoretical approaches of the stress-coping model: the cognitive approach and the cognitive phenomenological approach. The traditional approach was structure-oriented model. It was emphasized structural and stable aspects such as general coping traits, styles, or dispositions, and focused on individual differance. The cognitive phenomenological approach was transactional and process-oriented model. It was centered on a process approach to the assessment of coping. The term transaction means that the person and the environment are in dynamic and mutually reciprocal relationship. Coping is constantly changing cognitive and behavioral efforts to manage external and/or internal demands that are appraised as taxing or exceeding the resources of the person(Lazarus & Folkman, 1984a). Integrated model based on two representative approches to stress-coping process was implied that personal cognitive characteristics, situational factors, and coping behaviors have to be considered together. Nursing has a unique opportunity to develop a scientific base for stress, coping, and related health outcome. Integrated model was helpful to understand client’s stress and useful for effective and efficient stress management.

        독자적 간호중재로서의 치료적 접촉

        Therapeutic Touch is a healing practice based on the conscious use of the hands to direct or modulate, for therapeutic purposes, selected nonphysical human energies that activate the physical body. There were four of scientific premises of Therapeutic Touch(Krieger,1993); 1. All the life sciences agree that, physically, a human being is an open energy system. 2. Anatomically, a human being is bilaterally symmetrical. 3. Illness is imbalance in an individual's energy field. 4. Human beings have natural abilities to transform and transcend their conditions of living. The process of Therapeutic Touch consists of four steps: centering, assessment, unruffling, and transferring energy. There were several consistent and highly reliable results of the Therapeutic Touch interaction: relaxation, pain reduction, accelerated healing process, and alleviation of psychosomatic illness. In nursing, the purpose of Therapeutic Touch was to restore order and harmony of the energy pattern by intentional and specific interaction between the nurse’s energy field and the energy field of the client.

        뇌졸중 환자의 급성기간호 사례연구

        As the 21 st century approaches, one of the very important issue for nursing is the increased prevalences of chronic condition such as stroke. The stroke is reported the highest rate of death in Korea, 1998. A stroke is always stressful for the family. Therefore, the preventive measures for stroke should be emphasized. And the health education is provided to stroke survivors and caregivers for their adjustment to the change related to stroke. The purpose of this paper is to discuss issues in acute phase care for a stroke survivor. This case study presents a nursing process of a client, 65, female, who has middle cerebral artery infarction. The important nursing diagnoses are Self care deficit, Impaired verbal communication, Altered nutrition: less than body requirements, and Risk for injury et al .. The positive self-concept and motivation are focused on early rehabilitation for overcoming disability. Fortunately, the client has strong will and supportive family for rehabilitaion. So, we expect this case is improving. 뇌졸중은 뇌에 혈액을 공급하고 있는 혈관이 막히거나 파열되어 뇌의 일부가 손상되는 병을 말하는데 노인 인구에서 발생률이 높으며 평균 수명의 연장, 식생활 및 생활환경의 변화에 따른 성인병 증가와 더불어 그 발생 빈도가 증가추세에 있으며 발병 연령이 점차 낮아지고 있는 중년기 이후의 만성질환이다. 그리고 가정이나 사회 중요한 역할을 맡고 있는 40대에서 70 대 사이에 발병률이 높아서 사회 국가적으로 중요한 보건 문제가 되고 있으며 현재 우리 나라 사망 원인의 1위를 나타내는 질환이다.

        보육시설 과학 특별활동 프로그램의 개발과 적용

        The purpose of this study was to develop early childhood science activities, which could be utilized as an extracurricular program in the day-care center. The program is based on the Constructivist theory(Piaget and Vygotsky) and the nation-wide survey data on the extracurricular programs and science activities in the day-care center. After the manuals for the program was monitored and corrected by the professionals, the application of each activities was empirically tested by the teachers in the day-care setting. The effects of the sample program(6 activities) were conducted using Tegano, Sawyers & Moran(1989)'s Scientific problem-solving scale and Lee(2001)'s Scientific attitude scale. Subject of thirty nine children were administered by the pre-test and post-test and experimental group participated the program for six weeks. The results showed that the program was effective for enhancement of scientific problem-solving ability and scientific attitude of young children in day-care setting.

      • 6세 아동의 성역할 고정관념과 창의성과의 관계

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between childrns's creativity and sex-role stereotypes at age 6. The subjects for tis study were 155 six-yeare-old boys and girls selteted from two kindergartens in Seoul. Children were tested in groups, with Torrance test of Creative Thinking-Figural A, and individully with the Sex Stereotype Measure(williams, Bennet, & Best, 1975). The data were analyzed aby frequency,percentile,mean,standard deviation,t-test, one way ANOVA,and correlations. The major findings were as follows: First, there was a statically significant difference in children' sex-role stereotypes by sex. But no statically signficant difference in children' sex-role stereotypes by birth order was found. Second, there were statically significant differences in the sub domains of creativity and total creativity score by birth order. Finally, The sex-role sterotypes were statically significantly related to children's creativity-fluencey, originality, abstractiveness of titles, elaboration, resistance of closure, and total creativity score.

        영아기 첫자녀를 둔 어머니의 아동발달지식에 관한 연구

        본 연구에서는 자녀 양육 초기 영아모의 아동발달지식 수준을 살펴보기 위하여 만2세 미만의 영아를 자녀로 둔 어머니를 대상으로 아동발달지식 수준과 특성을 살펴보았다. 본 연구를 수행하기 위하여 만2세 미만의 첫 자녀를 둔 어머니 156명을 대상으로 양육관련 설문지와 KCDI(Knowledge of Child Development Inventory, Larsen, & Juhasz, 1986)를 실시하였고, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 11.5 프로그램을 사용하여 t-test, ANOVA 등을 실시하여 결과를 처리하였다. 본 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 영아모의 아동발달지식에 대한 평균 정답률은 70.0%로 나타났고, 하위영역별로 살펴보면 인지발달, 정서발달, 사회성발달, 신체발달 순으로 자녀의 발달에 대한 지식을 지니고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 양육관련 변인에 따른 어머니의 아동발달지식의 차이를 살펴본 결과, 여아를 자녀로 둔 어머니일수록 유아의 정서발달에 관한 지식이 많은 것으로 나타났고, 교육수준이 높을수록, 가족 월수입 정도가 많을수록 지식이 많은 것으로 나타났다. 출생시 체중이 많았던 자녀를 둔 어머니일수록 신체발달에 관한 지식 정도가 높게 나타났고, 수유방법에 따른 아동발달지식의 차이를 살펴본 결과 혼합수유를 하는 어머니가 모유수유, 인공유 수유를 하는 어머니보다 자녀의 인지발달, 사회성발달에 관한 지식이 보다 풍부한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 남편, 시부모가 기대하지 않았던 성의 자녀를 키우는 어머니일수록 아동발달지식을 더 많이 갖고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 향후 영아모 대상의 부모교육, 임산부 교실, 특수아동 자녀를 둔 부모대상 교육 프로그램, 입양센터, 미혼모센터 등의 프로그램을 개발하는 데 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
