        디아스포라 정체성과 혼종성 다시쓰기 : 줌파 라히리의 『질병 통역사』를 중심으로

        Recent diaspora studies, which investigate historical, political and cultural importance of migration and diasporas, tend to focus on the interlocking issues of identity and assimilation by categorizing the features of diasporic subjectivity and hybridity. That is, current diaspora studies are prone to confine its subject matters to identity crisis and assimilation by categorizing diverse modes of diaspora into one identical entity, which reveal a lack of consideration of complex issues of diasporic identity and hybridity. However, in this essay I argue that the way in which Indian American writer Jhumpa Lahiri composes the stories of Interpreter of Maladies is intended to criticize and challenge the existing categorical conceptualization and theorization of diasporic identity and hybridity. I claim that Lahiri’s stories collectively serve to complicate the issues of diasporic identity and hybridity by representing the ambiguous existential dimensions and aspects of diaspora in reality. The purpose of this essay is to shed a new light on how Lahiri represents the underlying ambiguities that are formative of diasporic identity and hybridity so as to disprove the formulaic categorization of a diversity of diasporic subjects. Therefore, identity and hybridity are not effects of diaspora but its constitutive conditions.

        외식고객의 구전성향에 따른 온라인 구전 커뮤니케이션 평가 연구

        This paper investigates factors influencing WOM(word of mouth) effects focusing on restaurant reviews on the internet to setup the online marketing strategy for restaurant administrations. Using observed and questionnaire data, authors attempt to find out whether customer's WOM disposition is affecting evaluation of restaurant reviews and which factor of restaurant evaluations is recognized more important as WOM disposition. Based on survey data, WOM disposition was measured with three components. The results identified WOM disposition as a factor to take the effect into the reputation of restaurant reviews on the web and there are differences between components of restaurant evaluation as WOM disposition. Curiously, few have attempted to address this factor despite the rise of online WOM communication studies.

        Waiting time could not be eliminated entirely from all service operations and the perception of waiting time is particularly important when customers feel time-pressured. Authors' paper in this sense is to study how caring for and utilizing customer waiting time at restaurant service encounters impact the customer's perception of waiting time, and how they relate to customer's emotional response, acceptable length of waiting time, service satisfaction and intention to leave the service place. The results of this study have significant implications for both theory and practice.

        레스토랑 내의 어린이 놀이시설과 레스토랑선택속성에 대한 연구

        This study was designed to find out how customers perceived the idea of the kids-playground in a restaurant which has increased the role in making decision on which restaurant to choose. An attempt to provide an empirical resource that marketing activities for kids has pivotal effect on parents deciding which place to go eat, family gathering occasions were considered in this study. To accomplish such purposes, the current customers and potential customers were participated in a survey to express how they perceived the importance of play-ground facilities in a particular restaurant and their involvement of the facilities. Based on the results of those perceptions, this study investigates how the perception influenced when the customers choose a restaurant. The results showed that perceived importance of the attributes in kids’ play facilities were different according to how they considered those facilities especially, kid’s play facilities’ safety and their entertainment. The importance of the attributes of kid’s playground facilities and the customers involvement of kid’s play facilities were significantly influenced in choosing a restaurant.         일본의 경관시민운동의 성격에 관한 일고찰― 세키씨의 숲(関さんの森)의 사례를 통해 본 갈등적 측면 ―

        本稿では日本における景観市民運動に関してその葛藤的な側面を紹介し新しい社会運動の観点から考察する。日本では1970年代頃から景観に対する関心が高まり、景観市民運動が展開されてきた。その流れの中で、景観法や景観条例など法的整備も行われてきた。景観市民運動は景観の保護、整備などを巡り、市民と行政(あるいは開発業者)が対立することもある。運動の参加者は景観侵害、景観破壊などを理由にマンションや道路の建設などに反対する。しかし、その裏側には生活の利便性を求め、建設に賛成する人も存在する。筆者は、このように景観市民運動に内在する利害関係を巡る対立が果たして新しい社会運動の理念と合致するのかに問題を提起する。そこで、景観市民運動の事例を通してそこにある利害関係の一面を紹介することによって景観市民運動の葛藤的な側面を提示し、景観市民運動がこのような利害関係をどのように克服して展開されるべきかを考える。

        레스토랑 서비스 사고의 법적 환경에 대한 연구

        This paper was examined on the legal environment of accidental losses in restaurant service, and it was measured how well foodservice workers in restaurant industry understand the law coveringthose accidental losses. A review of the casesin previous researches, precedents, interviews, and internet portal sites showed that the accidental losses in restaurant service were classified into 11 types as follows; losses of personal belongings with posted warning, losses of personal belongings without posted warning, injuries in a restaurant with posted warning, injuries in a restaurant without posted warning, injuries while eating, food poisoning, injuries from defective tableware, allergic reactions, illegal or unsanitary food supplies, and false labeling of countries of origin. A survey was conducted for the study in July of 2005, and 169 questionnaires were collected. The results of descriptive analysis have proved that the respondents had little understanding on the responsibility of accidental losses and its applicationsof the law.         핵심역량 강화를 위한 플렉시블 아이덴티티 교육 프로그램 개발 연구

        Information in the New Media Age is being visualized and the society is becoming more and more the age of image communication. The purpose of this study is to develop a flexible identity education program for university students and analyze the educational effect of the program based on the core competency of university students. The method of research is literature review, design of learning model, class progress and result analysis, design of core competency and analysis of educational effect through checklist. The flexible identity education program was conducted in eight semesters, and the class was conducted for 102 university students in Gyeonggi-do from 2016 to 2017. After the program, the result of analyzing the effect of education, the core competencies to be achieved through research have been strengthened. First, high satisfaction in communication ability through visual storytelling method. Second, matrix puzzle-based teaching methods in the way of expand ideas have improved the overall thinking power. Third, satisfaction of information gathering and analytical ability was high through the use of media. Fourth, satisfaction of self - directed learning ability and problem solving ability was high. The core competency is an important ability that applies not only to university students preparing for the future society but also to everyone. The flexible identity education program that developed in this study will be activated in the education field, and It is expected that various follow-up studies will be conducted in the area of design education based on core competencies. 뉴미디어 매체시대의 정보는 시각적으로 표현되어지고 있으며, 사회는 점점 더 이미지 소통의 시대가 되고 있다. 이에 본 연구의 목적은 대학생을 대상으로 플렉시블 아이덴티티 교육 프로그램을 개발하고 대학생 핵심역량을 기반으로 프로그램의 교육효과를 분석하는 것이다. 연구방법은 문헌 조사, 학습모형 설계, 수업진행 및 결과물 분석, 교육핵심역량을 설계하고 체크리스트를 통해 교육효과를 분석하였다. 플렉시블 아이덴티티 교육프로그램은 총 8차시로 진행되었고, 수업은 2016년도부터 2017까지 경기도에 소재한 대학생 102명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 프로그램 진행 후, 학습자 평가 도구를 설계하여 교육효과를 분석한 결과, 이 연구를 통해 도달하고자 했던 핵심역량이 향상되는 긍정적인 결과가 도출되었다. 첫째, 시각적 스토리텔링을 통한 의사소통 역량에서 높은 만족도를 나타내었다. 둘째, 아이디어 확산 방법에서 매트릭스 퍼즐을 활용한 교육방법은 종합적 사고력을 향상시켜주었다. 셋째, 매체의 활용으로 정보의 수집과 분석 능력이 향상되었다. 넷째, 자기관리능력을 통해 문제해결에 관한 능력이 향상되었다. 핵심역량은 미래 사회를 대비하는 대학생뿐만 아니라 누구에게나 공통으로 적용되는 중요한 능력이다. 이에 본 연구에서 개발된 플렉시블 아이덴티티 교육 프로그램이 교육현장에서 활성화되길 바라며, 핵심역량을 기반으로 한 디자인교육 분야의 다양한 후속 연구가 진행되기를 기대해본다.

        수단-목적 연쇄이론의 피라미드 계층구조와 소비자 인지에 대한 분류과정

        The means-end chain theory suggests that consumers perceive and judge products as the means to achieving a desired end-state in a given product-use situation. This study presents the unique pyramid-structure of the means-end chain; a model linking perceived product attribute to values. In addition, the categorization process in a product-use situation, the concept necessary to the explication was discussed in the last. Understanding these concepts provide opportunities for managers to target market segmentation and advertising based on the customers' desired end-states.
