The hydrolysis kinetics of 2-furyl chalcone derivatives [Ⅰ]~[Ⅴ] was investigated by ultraviolet spectrophotometery in 30% dioxane-H_2O at 25℃ and the structure of these compounds were ascertained by means of ultraviolet, infrared and NMR spectra. The rate equations which were applied over a wide pH range(pH 1.0~12.0) were obtained. The substituent effects on 2-furyl chalcone derivatives [Ⅰ]~[Ⅴ] were studied, and the hydrolysis were facilitated by the electron attrecting groups. On the basis of the rate equation, substituent effect, general base effect and final product, the plausible hydrolysis mechanism was proposed: Below pH 4.0, it was only proportional to concentration of hydronium ion, at pH 4.0~9.0, neutral H_2O molecule competitively attacked on the double bond. By contrast, above pH 9.0, it was proportional to concentration of hydroxide ion.
인쇄 제판용 Photoresist의 합성과 G.S법에 의한 감광특성 비교;인쇄 제판용 Photoresist의 연구[II]

Naphthoquinone-1,2-diazide-5-sulfonyl [NDS]derivatives members of Quinone diazide compound that are utilizable as photoresist for printing plate were synthesized, and photoresist were prepared by mixing these derivatives with a matrix resin(PF, CF) at various weight ratios. Photosensitive characteristics of photoresist were studied by Gray scale method, and SEM to analyze if they can be used as photosensitive material in a printing plate. Experimental results showed using IR, UV, NDS derivatives were photoconverted and developer-soluble photoresist were produced. Photoresist in the mixing ratio of 1:4 of NDS[II] and CF resin gave rise to the highest dissolution rate. In addition, photoresist obtained at this condition resulted in the most superior sensitivity.
Dextran - Phthalylsulfathiazole 합성과 항균성

Drug Dclivcry System (DDS) purpose to getting better remedial result by improving medication from ordinary methods. Applied for DDS, to improve selectivity and continuity during absorbing and delivery step, polmer drug (prodrug) was prepared by the esterification with dextran in such of biodegradable polymer and phthalylsulfathiazole with is efficient for entilitis. The polymer Burg was prepared with dextran and phthalylsulfathiazole by the esterification. The synthetic procedures of polymer drug was performed by acid chloride and DCC methods. Polymer drug was synthesized in high yield by acid chloride method than DCC method. The antibiotic activitis of polymer drug exhibited growth-inhibitory activity against Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, E. cola, Salmonella typhimurium, Klebsiella pneumoniae at the concentration of 500 ug/ml in general through in vitro. As a result of test, polymer drug has 1/2 MIC than phthalylsulfathiazole. Also, it has high level MIC as much as phthalylsulfathiazole with Proteus, Pseudomonas. We conducted possibility of DDS as an applied for medicine with synthesized polymer drug by using natrural polymer. We consider that clinical research must be followed to verify safety and efficacy for controlled release, activity and toxicity.
환상 Keto Ester로부터 Naphthalene 유도체의 합성

3,4-Dihydro-3-methoxycarbonyl-1(2H)-naphthalenone〔1〕과 3,4-dihydro-2-ethoxy-carbonyl-1(2H)-naphthalenone〔9a〕를 각각 Grignard 시약과 반응을 시켜, 1,3-및 1,2-dialkylnaphthalen과 3종의 naphthothiophene 유도체를 합성하였다. 환상 r-Keto ester〔1〕과 Grignard 시약과의 반응에서는 예상했던 diol〔2〕, keto alcohol 〔3〕및 1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-1,1-dimethylnaphthalene-3-carboxylic acid [4a]의 혼합물을 얻었다. [2]와 [4]로부터 3-isopropyl-1-methylnapthalene[7a〕를, 〔3〕으로부터는 3-ispropyl-1-naphthol〔7b〕를 합성하였다. 한편 환상 B-keto ester〔9a〕의 Grignard 반응에 의한 생성물은 예상했던 keto alcohol〔10〕이었으며, 그의 탈수반응으로 공액불포화 ketone〔11a〕를 얻을 수 있었다. 〔11a〕와 Grignard 시약으로부터 1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-1-methylene-2-isopropylidenenaphthalene 〔12〕와 3,4-dihydro-2t-bytyl-1(2H)naphthalenone〔13〕을 얻었다. 또, 〔12〕와 〔13〕으로 부터는 각각 2-isopropyl-1-methylnaphthalene〔7c〕와 2-t-butyl-1-methylnaphthalene 〔7c〕와 2-t-butyl-1-methylnaphthalene〔7e〕를 합성하였다. 〔7a〕의 피크르산염은 녹는 점이 문헌과 다르게 나타났으므로, 〔9a〕의 4-methyl 유도체로부터 별도로 합성하여 확인하였다. 또, 황으로 탈수소시킬 때 부산물로 얻은 naphtho〔1,2-b〕thiophene〔8〕과〔15〕및 naph-tho〔1,2-c〕thiophene〔14〕의 구조도 검토하여 보았다. 3,4-Dihydro-3-methoxycarbonyl-1(2H)-naphthalenone〔1〕and 3,4-dihydro-2-ethox-ycarbonyl-1(2H)-naphthalenone 〔9a〕were allowed to react with methylmagnesium iodide, and from their products 1,3-or 1,2-dialkylnaphthalenes and three naphtho-thiophene derivatives were synthesized. The reaction of 〔1〕with Grignard reagent yielded a mixture of the expected diol〔2〕, keto alcohol〔3〕, and 1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-1,-1-dimethylnaphthalene-3-carboxylic acid〔4a〕. By heating〔2〕 with sulfur, 3-isopropyl-1-methylnaphthalene〔7a〕 was obtained. On the other hand, 〔9a〕reacted with Grignard reagent to yield the desired keto alcohol〔10〕. When it was dehydrated, a,B-unsaturated ketone〔11a〕was obtained. The melting point of picrate of 〔7a〕was 105.5~106.5℃, but that shown in the literature is 84℃. In order to identify the hydrocarbon〔7a〕, it was also synthesi-zed from 4-methyl derivative of〔9a〕, and in this synthesis 3,5-dimethylnaphtho〔1,2-b〕thiophene〔15〕was obtained as a by-product.

In 2001, eight small-sized dogs and three medium-sized dogs with or without clinical signs such as vomiting, dyspnea and enlargement of superficial lymph nodes were diagnosed as lymphoma by radiography, ultrasonography and cytology. Among them, six were female mainly over 7 years old and others were male around 4 years old. There were six cases of multicentric form lymphoma, three cases of mediastinal form, an alimentary and an extranodal form, respectively. Radiographic findings were enlarged cranial mediastinal lymph node, sternal lymph node, and tracheobronchial lymph nodes on thorax and hepatomegaly, splenomegaly, and enlarged sublumbar lymph nodes on abdomen. Ultrasonographic findings revealed enlarged abdominal lymph nodes and multifocal hypoechoic lesions on the liver. Especially, severe wall thickness of small bowel was observed in a dog with alimentary lymphoma. Three dogs were dead during chemotherapy, and three dogs were dead without any treatment. Three dogs did not return and two treated dog showed normal status. Radiography and ultrasonography, although not giving an final diagnosis for lymphoma, are useful for assessment and diagnosis of lymphoma.
