This paper presents an efficient method which can approximate unknow systems using Laguerre models. This method is to approximate system from only input-output information, which can exclude additional procedure for system description. and thus reduce the required computational burden. The proposed method has the advantage that an unknown system can be modelled without structural knowledge and assumption about the true model order and time delay.
hp-adaptive finite element method for linear elasticity using higher-order virtual node method

Higher-order polygonal finite elements are developed for adaptive analyses of linear elastic problem. These elements are constructedusing virtual node method based on partition of unity coupled with polynomial enrichment functions. Because the element shape functionsare polynomials, the stiffness matrix is computed precisely with standard Gauss quadrature rules. Several numerical examples oflinear elasticity are presented to validate the accuracy and convergence of the proposed elements. One of the advantages of the proposedelements is that they can be used as transition elements with hanging nodes on higher-order approximation meshes. Building on this advantage,h- and hp-adaptive finite element analyses of numerical examples with local singularities are performed on triangular quadtreemeshes in order to demonstrate the performance of the adaptive strategies using the proposed elements.
비구 골절의 관혈적 정복술 후 골반강내 핀 이동에 의한 지연성 장관 손상 -증례 보고-

고관절 골절 치료에 사용된 Kirschner 강선이나 Steinman 핀의 골반강내로의 이동은 드물게 발생하나, 매우 심각한 합병증을 일으킬 수 있다. 저자들은 비구 골절 수술 후 10년이 경과한 경우에서 골반강내 핀 이동에 의해 발생한 지연성 장관 손상을 경 험하였다. 이러한 잠재적인 합병증을 방지하기 위해서는 골절 치료 시 핀은 일시적인 고정을 목적으로 사용하여야 하며, 반드시 끝을 구부려 놓아야 한다. 또한 이러한 환자들은 장기간 임상적 검사 및 방사선 검사 등으로 추시하여야 하며 핀 이동이 관찰된 다면, 제거하도록 하여야 한다. Intrapelvic pin migration of the Kirschner wires or the Steinman pins that are used for the treatment of hip fracture is rare, but it can be serious when it occurs. We experienced a delayed intestinal injury that was caused by the migration of an intrapelvic pin, and this happened 10 years after performing fixation for an acetabular fracture. For preventing this potential complication, the pins have to be used only as a temporary fixation and the end of the pins should be bent. Further, the patients should be followed up clinically and radiographically for a long time. If pin migration does occur, the pin should be removed.
