        우리나라 중소기업의 생산성, 기술혁신, 기술추격 및 특허권의 상관관계에 관한 연구

        본 논문은 우리나라 중소기업의 특허권이 생산성, 기술혁신 및 기술추격에 미치는 영향을 정량적으로 분석하였다. 2001년부터 2012년까지 미국특허상표국에 등록된 특허와 한국기업데이터의 재무자료를 병합하여 자료를 구성하였으며,확률적 변경분석법을 이용하여 추정한 우리나라 중소기업의 생산성 변화율에 특허권이 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 생산성, 기술추격 및 규모효과 및배분효율성의 경우 특허권을 갖고 있는 기업이 높았으나 기술혁신의 경우 특허권을 갖고 있지 않은 기업이 높았다. 이와 같은 정량분석을 바탕으로 우수한 기술수준을 보유한 기업 역시 지속적인 기술혁신을 위한 대안 마련이 필요함을 간략하게 제시하였다. This paper measures the relationship among productivity,technological innovation, technological catch-up and patent rights. Forthe empirical investigation, we merged the USPTO patent grants andKED financial statement information between 2001 and 2012. We usedstochastic frontier analysis in order to decompose productivity ofKorean SMEs for the merged data set. Empirical results show thatproductivity growth, technological catch-up, scale component andallocative efficiency of firms having patent rights are higher than thosewithout patent rights, whilst technological innovation of firms withoutpatent rights is higher than that of those having patent rights. Policyimplications are provided based on the empirical results.

        A Sphaghetti Sign in the Abdominal Radiograph Consistent with Spleno-Systemic Shunts in a Cat

        A 8-year-old spayed female Korean short-haired cat was presented with respiratory distress. CBC, serum chemistry analysis, plain radiography, and abdominal ultrasonography were performed. Besides hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) suspected by the thoracic radiograph, a tubular, tortuous soft tissue structure was detected at the region of the left retroperitoneal cavity on the abdominal radiograph. On the abdominal ultrasonography, a shunt vessel is identified caudo-lateral to the left kidney region. These findings are consistent with spleno-systemic shunts in cats. Furthermore, portal hypertension and diffuse hepatic lesion were also identified. Although the cause of a shunt vessel is not easy to diagnose, it is important to include spleno-systemic shunt into differential diagnosis list, when convoluted, tubular soft tissue opacity is seen on the digital radiography (DR). This report will allow clinicians to raise awareness of complications of portosystemic shunt (PSS) and better treat PSS suspected feline patients when the advanced modalities such as computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging are not available.

        저비용 염료감응 태양전지를 위한 방추형 Fe<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> 나노입자가 코팅된 탄소나노섬유 복합체

        Carbon nanofiber (CNF) composites coated with spindle-shaped $Fe_2O_3$ nanoparticles (NPs) are fabricated by a combination of an electrospinning method and a hydrothermal method, and their morphological, structural, and chemical properties are measured by field-emission scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. For comparison, CNFs and spindle-shaped $Fe_2O_3$ NPs are prepared by either an electrospinning method or a hydrothermal method, respectively. Dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) fabricated with the composites exhibit enhanced open circuit voltage (0.70 V), short-circuit current density ($12.82mA/cm^2$), fill factor (61.30%), and power conversion efficiency (5.52%) compared to those of the CNFs (0.66 V, $11.61mA/cm^2$, 51.96%, and 3.97%) and spindle-shaped $Fe_2O_3$ NPs (0.67 V, $11.45mA/cm^2$, 50.17%, and 3.86%). This performance improvement can be attributed to a synergistic effect of a superb catalytic reaction of spindle-shaped $Fe_2O_3$ NPs and efficient charge transfer relative to the one-dimensional nanostructure of the CNFs. Therefore, spindle-shaped $Fe_2O_3$-NP-coated CNF composites may be proposed as a potential alternative material for low-cost counter electrodes in DSSCs.

        자폐 스펙트럼 장애 아동ㆍ청소년 대상 컴퓨터 기반 눈맞춤 및 전체윤곽처리 훈련 프로그램(FaceA)의 효과성 검증

        As research on the relationship between impaired social interaction ability in autistic spectrum disorder(ASD) and difficulty in facial recognition is actively being done, the hypothesis on holistic processing of the face and avoidance of the eyes has been raised as a mechanism behind the difficulty in facial recognition characteristic to ASD. Facial perception training programs that have been developed on the basis of the mentioned hypothesis only reflect one mechanism, or partially reflect the two mechanisms, and therefore have the limitation of not being able to directly compare the effectiveness of each mechanism. The purpose of this study was to develop a computer-based training program designed to train in holistic processing of the face and eye contact ability, and to compare its relative effectiveness to a control group. For this purpose, 52 participants who met the ASD diagnosis criteria were each assigned to either the holistic processing training group, the eye contact training group, or the control group. The computer training consisted of 60 days, and computer tasks and questionnaires were conducted before and after the training to measure facial perception ability. After training, the eye contact training group showed significantly increased facial identity recognition based on the eye area, and the holistic processing training group showed significantly increased eye contact ability and facial expression recognition in daily life. Based on these results, the differing training effectiveness of each mechanism are discussed, and evidence based treatments and future directions of face perception training programs of the social training paradigm are suggested. 자폐 스펙트럼 장애의 손상된 사회적 상호작용 능력과 얼굴 지각 결함 간의 연관성에 대한 연구가 활발히 이루어지면서, ASD의 얼굴 지각 결함의 기제로 얼굴에 대한 전체윤곽처리의 어려움과 눈에 대한 회피 가설이 제기되었다. 이를 근거로 개발된 얼굴 지각 훈련 프로그램들은 두 가지 기제를 모두 반영하였거나 혹은 일부만 반영하였기에, 각 기제의 효과성을 직접적으로 비교하지 못했다는 한계가 있다. 본 연구에서는 얼굴에 대한 전체윤곽처리와 눈맞춤 능력을 각각 훈련시키도록 기획된 컴퓨터 기반 훈련 프로그램을 개발하고, 그 상대적인 효과성을 대기집단과 비교하여 검정하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 자폐증 진단 기준을 충족한 52명의 참가자를 눈맞춤 훈련 집단, 전체윤곽처리 훈련 집단, 대기 집단에 각각 할당하여 60일간의 컴퓨터 훈련을 진행하였으며, 훈련 전후로 얼굴 지각 능력을 측정하는 컴퓨터 과제와 설문들을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 눈맞춤 훈련을 받은 집단은 훈련 후 눈 부분을 기반으로 얼굴 정체성을 재인하는 능력이 유의미하게 향상되었고, 전체윤곽처리 훈련을 받은 집단은 일상에서의 얼굴 표정 지각 능력과 타인과의 눈맞춤 능력이 향상되었다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 각 기제의 서로 다른 효과성에 대해 논의하였으며, 지각 수준의 사회성 훈련 패러다임의 근거 기반 치료화 및 향후 얼굴 지각 훈련 프로그램 제작 방향을 제시하였다.

        Bacillus cereus에 의하여 자연 판막에 발생한 감염성 심내막염 1예

        Bacillus cereus is a ubiquitous organism that often contaminates microbiological cultures but rarely causes serious infections in humans. It is the causative organism of infective endocarditis (IE), a disease typically associated with intravenous (IV)drug abusers. Thus, almost all reported cases have involved the tricuspid valve. We report a case of native mitral valve (MV) IE caused by B. cereus in a 54 year-oldman with moderate MV regurgitation but no apparent history of IV drug use. He presented with fever and dyspnea on exertion, symptoms which had been ongoing for 2 months. B. cereus infection was determined by blood culture examination. A transthoracic echocardiography revealed that mobile vegetations had attached to the MV. He was treated with IV antibiotics for a total of 6 weeks and received MV replacement surgery. He has maintained a good clinical recovery without complications since discharge.
