전통놀이 프로그램이 뇌성마비 초등학생의 대동작 기술 및 사회정서적 발달에 미치는 효과

This paper was to study the effect of the traditional game program on gross motor skills and social-emotional development of the children with cerebral palsy. As its subjects, 12(6, 6) elementary school students with cerebral palsy in a special school were selected and conducted this program twice a week during ten weeks to examine statistically the differences of scores between two groups applied and not applied it. In conclusion, firstly, the experimental group under the program showed more noticeable improvement than another controlled group in lying, rolling, sitting, kneeling, and crawling among sub-areas of gross motor skills, while they had no evident improvement in standing activities such as walking, running, and jumping. Secondly, the experimental group displayed more statistically noticeable betterment in social-emotional development than the another group. This shows that, when it covers safe environment for standing activities like walking, the students can be highly possibilities to improve their physical abilities by using this program, and be also helpful to social-emotional development including no-dependence on teachers, interaction with peers, stabilities in school, motive of accomplishment, and curiosities. 이 연구는 전통놀이 프로그램이 뇌성마비 아동의 대동작 기술 및 사회ㆍ정서 발달에 미치는 효과를 규명하기 위해서, 특수학교에 재학 중인 초등학교 고학년 뇌성마비 학생 12명(6, 6)을 대상으로 전통놀이 프로그램을 10주간 주 2회씩 실시한 후 두 집단 간의 점수 차이를 통계적으로 검증하였다. 그 결과로서, 첫째, 전통놀이 프로그램에 참여한 집단은 통제집단과 비교하여 대동작 기술의 하위영역인 눕기와 뒤집기, 앉기, 네발기기와 무릎서기에는 유의한 차이가 있었고 걷기, 달리기, 뛰기 등의 서서 하는 활동에는 유의미한 차이가 없었다. 둘째, 사회ㆍ정서적 발달에 있어서도 전통놀이 프로그램에 참여한 실험집단이 통제집단에 비하여 통계적으로 의미 있는 차이를 나타내었다. 이와 같은 결과는 걷기 등 서서 하는 활동에 대한 안전장치가 마련된다면 전통놀이를 통해 뇌성마비를 가진 초등학생들의 신체 능력 향상에 전반적으로 도움이 될 가능성이 높고, 교사에의 비의존성, 또래와의 상호작용, 학교에서의 안정감, 성취동기 및 호기심 등 사회정서적 측면의 발달에도 도움이 될 수 있음을 보여준다.
고양이에서 난소자궁적출술 후 복강 내 Bupivacaine 투여가 통증 감소와 행동 변화에 미치는 영향

Perioperative pain relief is essential in veterinary practice. However, the cat is one of the most poorly understood species regarding pain control management. Ovariohysterectomy(OHE) produces considerable postoperative pain in cats. Practitioners are often reluctant to administer analgesics due to lack of familiarity with available drugs, concern about side effects, or frustration with the need for record keeping of controlled substances. The purpose of this study was to determine if intraperitoneal administration of bupivacaine can provide relief of pain following OHE in cats. Twelve healthy female cats were randomly divided into two groups. OHE was performed under general inhalation anesthesia. Just prior to complete closure of the linea alba, 6 cats in SAL group received 0.88 ml/kg 0.9% saline, 6 cats in BUP group received 4.4 mg/kg 0.75% bupivacaine diluted to an equivalent volume with saline in the intraperitoneal space. Cats were scored at 0, 1, 2, 4, 8, 12 and 24 hours post-extubation by one observer. Cats were evaluated using a visual analogue scale(VAS) and composite pain scale(CPS) that included physiologic variables. There were no significant differences in body weight, anesthesia time, surgery time, and incision length between the two groups. Cats in the BUP group had significantly(p < 0.05) lower VAS-pain scores than cats in the SAL group at 4, 8, 12 hours after surgery. Cats in the BUP group had significantly lower CPS scores than cats in the SAL group at 8, 12 hours after surgery. No adverse side effects were observed. These results support that the intraperitoneal administration of bupivacaine following OHE can be used for the prevention of postoperative pain and pain-induced behavioral changes in cats.
Kirschner 철사와 원형 철사를 이용하여 개의 휘어진 경골 골절을 정복한 증례

A four months old, 3.6 kg intact female Miniature Dachshund dog was referred for non-weight bearing lameness at right hind limb due to car accident. On physical examination, the patient was non-weight bearing on the right hind leg and had moderate swelling in the proximal to middle tibia region. There was palpable crepitus. Radiographs revealed a slightly displaced, spiral, oblique fracture involving the proximal diaphyseal region of the right tibia. Fibular fracture was also noted. Internal fixation was performed to repair the fracture. Due to bowed shape of fractured tibia, it was not possible to apply K-wire, containing appropriate diameter (60~80% of bone marrow diameter) for intramedullary fixation. We fixed the bowed tibia fracture using a smaller diameter (30% of bone marrow diameter) K-wire with cross pins and cerclage wires. Four weeks after the operation, radiographs demonstrated healing of the tibia fracture as well as the fibular fracture.
TAM3에 기반한 경험여부에 따른 대학 FMS 사용자의 태도 차이분석

The facility management solution (FMS) has recently been introduced to a number of higher education facilities; however, the actual use rates of FMS are still low. To identify the reasons for differences between FMS experienced and unexperienced in terms of FMS evaluation, a survey was conducted with 68 facility managers from three universities using 12 questions developed on the basis of technology acceptance model3 (TAM3). For statistical analysis of the resulting data was used. The survey results show that 64.9% of FMS users were not satisfied with FMS due to lack of information, while 83.3% evaluated FMS as complicated. However, 58.9% of users replied that FMS helped to improve task efficiency. Task efficiency improvement is not only the major expectation of FMS but also the major benefit of FMS as perceived by both users and non-users. The survey also highlighted statistical differences, with FMS users stressing on-the-job relevance as a factor in considering FMS adoption, and non-users expressing an interest in the expected effects of FMS. There were also differences between users and non-users in terms of users’ attitudes and preferred assistance methods, with users indicating a more passive attitude than non-users. Finally, the results revealed a correlation between experiences of FMS and three factors (perceived job relevance, self-evaluation of the ability to operate new technology, and preferred assistance methods in the case of errors).
BIM 기반 병원설계 검토 자동화 기술의 개발방향 및 우선순위에 관한 연구

Hospital design review is challenging because design requirements for hospitals are more complex than other facilities, and many design changes occur due to changes of medical device specifications during a construction period and request from experts in various fields. Building Information Modeling (BIM) has recently been adopted in a hospital design process to improve design quality and reduce design errors. A possibility of automated check of hospital design using BIM has been demonstrated. However, the current use of BIM is too limited to satisfy the needs of practice. The main goals of this study are to survey the needs for the BIM-based hospital design validation technology and to propose the development direction and priority through a survey with experts and professionals in hospital design and construction. As the results, among various hospital-related design codes and guidelines, practitioners perceived that design change orders during a construction process and an overwhelming amount of design requirements were the most important and most repeatedly examined items. When BIM-based design validation was adopted, the central medical department, wards, and the outpatient department were regarded as the most beneficial spaces, clash detection between architectural and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) components as the most beneficial work type, and the design development phase as the most beneficial phase. The development priority and direction of a BIM-based hospital design validation technology found in this study are expected to be used as a blueprint for developing and improving BIM-based hospital design validation systems in the future.
