        한국인에서 D16S539 유전좌의 유전적 다형성

        The D165539 locus was investigated to collect population genetic data in the Korean population. The selected subject was unrelated 293 Korean people. DNA was extracted from the samples and PCR was performed with fluorescent primer. The amplified fragment was analysed by automated DNA sequencer and it's application software. Among the Korean population, 7 allele and 18 geneotype were observed and allele No. 9 is mostly frequent(0.2679) and then allele No. 11(0.2679), allele No. 9(0.2645). The observed heterozygosity and the expected heterozygosity is 0.7466, 0.7829 each. The polymorphism information content(PIC) is 0.7466. The power of discrimination(PD) and the mean exclusion chance(MEC) are calculated to be 0.9190 and 0.5775.

        The Merits of Mannitol in the Repair of Orbital Blowout Fracture

        Background One of the main concerns in orbital blowout fracture repair is a narrow operation field, due mainly to the innate complex three dimensions of the orbit; however, a deep location and extensive area of the fracture and soft tissue edema can also cause concern. Swelling of the orbital contents progresses as the operation continues. Mannitol has been used empirically in glaucoma, cerebral hemorrhage, and orbital compartment syndrome for decompression. The authors adopted mannitol for the control of intraorbital edema and pressure in orbital blowout fracture repair. Methods This prospective study included 108 consecutive patients who were treated for a pure blowout fracture from January 2007 to October 2012. For group I, mannitol was administered during the operation. Under general anesthesia, all patients underwent surgery by open reduction and insertion of an absorbable mesh implant. The authors compared postoperative complications, the reoperation rate, operation time, and surgical field improvement between the two groups. Results In patients who received intraoperative administration of mannitol, the reoperation rate and operation time were decreased; however, the difference was not statistically significant. The total postoperative complication rates did not differ. Panel assessment for the intraoperative surgical field video recordings showed significantly improved vision in group I. Conclusions For six years, mannitol proved itself an effective, reliable, and safe adjunctive drug in the repair of orbital blowout fractures. With its rapid onset and short duration of action, mannitol could be one of the best methods for obtaining a wider surgical field in blowout fracture defects.

        Evaluation of antioxidant activity of the residues generated from ethanol concentration of lignocellulosic biomass using pervaporation

        In this study, bioethanol was separated and concentrated by a pervaporation system, and the residue wassubsequently evaluated for antioxidant activity. The hydrolysate contained high acetic acid, furfural, andtotal phenolic compounds (TPC) as fermentation inhibitors. The bioethanol was produced from theelectrodialysis-treated hydrolysate, with sulfuric and maleic acid (14.00 g/L and 13.33 g/L, respectively). The amount of TPC in the ethyl acetate extract of the residue, generated from the ethanol pervaporationafter the fermentation of the maleic acid hydrolysate (MA-F-E), was as high as 100.78 mg/100 g. The IC50values of the DPPH and ABTS radical scavenging activities and the EC50 value of the reducing power werethe lowest with the MA-F-E at 0.85 mg/mL, 0.73 mg/mL, and 0.54 mg/mL, respectively. Among thephenolic compounds, vanillic alcohol, benzoic acid, and 3-vanil-1,2-propane were the most abundantcompounds in the ethyl acetate extracts of the residue.

        상담자 언어반응유목별 상담자와 내담자의 반응시간

        The purpose of this study was to investigate at which counselor verbal response catory(CVRC) the counselor and the client used over 5-second silence as a response time. The percentages the counselor and the client used 5-second response time were higher on interpretation and confrontation and lower on restatement, close-ended question, and reflection. These results suggest that the demand on processing capacity of interpretation and confrontation are heavy and that of restatement, close-ended question, and reflection are not heavy. In this study also, the clients tended to synchronize their response times to those of counselor's. Because the counselor can control the duration of response time that it is suggested that if the counselor uses enough time to produce interventions which have heavy processing capacity the client will synchronize their response time to that of the counselor's and improve the quality of their responses. So the counselor needs to allow the client to have enough response time. 본 연구는 상담자와 내담자가 상담자의 어떤 언어반응유목에 대해 5초 작업시간을 소요하는지를 Hill의 상담자언어반응유목을 사용하여 살펴보았다. 상담자는 해석과 직면으로 개입 할 때, 내담자는 상담자의 해석과 직면에 반응할 때 5초 이상의 침묵시간을 갖는 비율이 높았다. 반면, 상담자가 재언급 한정질문 반영으로 개입 할 때 그리고 이들 상담자의 개입들에 대해서 내담자가 반응을 할 때는 5초 작업시간을 갖는 비율이 낮았다. 이러한 결과는 해석과 직면이 그것을 산출할 때나 그에 대해 반응을 할 때 5초 작업시간이 소요될 만큼 처리할 정보부하량이 많은 반면, 한정질문 재언급 반영 등은 이들 반응을 산출할 때나 그에 대해 반응을 할 때 5초 작업시간을 소요할 만큼 처리할 정보부하량이 많지 않다는 것을 시사한다. 본 연구에서도 내담자는 상담자가 소요한 반응시간에 자신의 반응시간을 일치시키는 경향이 있었다. 상담자는 자신의 반응시간의 길이를 조절할 수 있으며, 처리부하량이 높은 개입에 대해 상담자가 충분한 작업 시간을 갖는다면 내담자는 상담자의 반응시간에 자신의 반응시간을 일치시켜 작업할 충분한 시간을 확보하여 발언의 질을 향상시킬 수 있을 것으로 시사된다. 따라서 상담자는 내담자에게 충분한 반응시간을 허용할 필요가 있다.

        효율적인 가변차원 하모닉 크기 양자화기법

        본 논문은 스펙트럴 크기 파라미터들에 대한 효율적인 가변 차원 양자화 기법을 제안한다. 특히, 하모닉 부호화 기에서의 스펙트럴 크기값 계수들은 가변차원이기 때문에 가변 차원의 양자화를 필요로 한다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 스펙트럴 크기값 계수들에 대해 가변 이산 코사인 변환(DCT: Discrete Cosine Transform) 및 가변 차원에 적합한 훈련구조를 가지는 비정방형 변환 벡터 양자화 (NSTVQ: Nonsquare Transform Vector Quantization)를 홀수/짝수 구조 및 분할(Split) 구조 그리고 다단계(Multi-stage) 구조 등과 결합시킨 효율적인 양자화 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 양자화 기법의 성능평가는 스펙트럴의 크기값에 대한 주파수 왜곡(SD: Spectral Distortion) 값을 사용하였으며, 다단계 비정방형 변환 벡터 양자화(MSNSTVQ: Multi-Stage Nonsquare Transform Vector Quantization)가 가장 좋은 성능을 나타내었다. In this paper, we present a variable dimension vector quantization for spectral magnitudes. Espectially, spectral magnitudes of the Harmonic coder, need variable dimension quantizer because those are not fixed dimension. So, this paper present efficient quantization methods. These methods use variable Discrete Cosine Transform(DCT) for spectral magnitude parameters and NSTVQ which is combined odd/even, split and multi-stage structure, proposed quantization methods use Spectral Distortion(SD) for performance measure. Consequently, Multi-Stage Nonsquare Transform Vector Quantization(MSNSTVQ) is the best in performance measure.
