        Distribution of the Fairy Pitta (Pitta nympha) in the South Korea: A focus on protected areas

        국내 팔색조(Pitta nympha) 분포 현황을 알아보고자 전국 국립공원 등 보호지역 중심으로 총 19개 지역을 조사하였고, 전문가 네트워크를 통해 자료를 보강하였다. 전국 19개 지역을 조사한 결과 북한산, 지리산 등 내륙지역 7개 국립공원에서는 팔색조가 확인되지 않았고, 경남 거제, 남해, 해남, 장흥 고흥 등 남해안과 인접한 12개 지역에서 팔색조 서식이 확인되었다. 또한 전문가 네트워크를 통해 수집한 팔색조 출현 위치 정보 82건을 분석한 결과, 전국 8개 광역지자체 모두 팔색조 서식이 확인되었고, 내륙지역(26.8%)보다 해안지역(73.2%)에서 더 많이 출현하였다. 연구 결과를 종합해보면, 우리나라의 팔색조는 주로 제주도와 남해안 지역을 중심으로 많이 분포하며, 그 보다 적은 개체수가 내륙 지역에 넓게 분포하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. The present study investigated the current distribution of Fairy Pitta (Pitta nympha) in South Korea. A total of 19 study areas, including protected areas such as national and provincial parks in South Korea were surveyed, and additional data obtained from an expert network. According to the results, Fairy Pitta was absent in seven inland national parks, including Mt. Bukhan and Chiri parks. Fairy Pitta inhabited 12 areas near the southern coast of South Korea, including Geoje, Namhae, Haenam, Jangheung, Goheung, and Gyeongnam Province. The analysis results of 82 datasets obtained from experts with regard to the locations where Fairy Pitta have been spotted showed that the bird inhabits all the eight metropolitan regions in South Korea, and is more frequently spotted in coastal areas (73.2%) than in inland areas (26.8%). The findings demonstrate that Fairy Pitta is mainly distributed in Jeju Island and the southern coast of South Korea, and is distributed in inland areas at relatively lower numbers.

        시간 지연을 갖는 페이딩 채널의 전력 지연 분포 특성 분석 및 활용

        Applying an appropriate received signal processing algorithm based on the channel characteristics is important to improve the receiver performance. Wireless channels in general exhibit various time-delay characteristics depending on their power delay profile. When the estimated channel power summation is used to determine the amount of time delay, a channel adaptive receiver structure can be implemented. In this paper, we derive a closed-form expression for the error probability of the channel classification when the estimated channel power summation is used to classify channel groups having different time delay characteristics, and present the performance gain utilizing multiple estimation results. 통신 수신기 구현에 있어 채널의 특성을 파악하여 그에 적합한 수신 신호 처리를 수행하는 것은 수신 성능 향상을 위해 매우 중요하다. 무선 채널은 전력 지연 분포(power delay profile)에 따라 다양한 시간 지연 특성을 가지며, 추정된 채널의 전력 합산을 통해 시간 지연 정도를 판별 시, 채널 적응적인 수신 구조 구현이 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 전력 지연 분포의 합산을 통해 시간 지연의 상대적인 크기에 따른 채널 군으로 분류하는 경우에 있어 채널 판별 오류 확률을 closed-form 수식으로 유도하고, 다수 번의 추정 결과를 누적하여 활용 시 얻어지는 성능 이득을 제시한다.

        관광지 교육을 위한 교육용 챗봇 큐레이터

        A chatbot is a responsive chatting program that can communicate with people through text or voice. 'Siri' and 'Bixby' installed in smartphones are also representative artificial intelligences that use the chatbot system. With the rapid development of chatbots, users in various fields have also begun to pay attention to the food service industry. As machine learning technology developed, it became possible to use more flexible conversations, and it soon expanded to the realm of education. Userㄴs interact through conversations with chatbots, and active interactions stimulate users' desires and at the same time have a positive effect on learning motivation. Recommendation system programs using chatbots not only recommend products according to users' preferences, but also provide various additional information. This study planned a program that combined the chatbot system and tourism service. The chatbot curator will develop into a form of inducing interest and curiosity to users through learning, and then facilitating the desire for tourism. The purpose of this study is to lay the foundation for a chatbot curator based on previous studies.

        2D 텐서 보팅에 기반 한 손상된 텍스트 영상의 복원 및 분할

        본 논문에서는 잡음에 의해 손상된 텍스트 영상으로부터 복원 및 분할을 위한 새로운 접근 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 손상된 영역의 복원을 위하여 색상 및 비색상 성분을 2차 대칭 스틱 텐서로 표현하고 보팅 기반의 손상된 영역을 복원하였으며, 마지막으로 클러스터링 방법에 의해 분할을 수행한다. 먼저 우리는 제안된 색상 선택함수에 의해 잡음에 강건한 색상과 비색상 성분을 선택한다. 두 번째 단계에서는 각각의 선택된 특징 벡터들은 스틱 텐서로 표현하였으며 제한된 보팅 커널의 필드내에서 이웃하는 보터들과 통신을 통하여 새롭게 정의된다. 따라서 2차 보팅 후 각각의 스틱 텐서는 이웃하는 텐서와 같은 특성을 가지며 손상된 영역들을 복원할 수 있다. 마지막으로 복원된 영상의 성능을 평가하기 위하여 적응적 평균 이동 알고리즘과 클러스터링 알고리즘을 이용하여 영상 분할을 수행하였다. 실험에서 제안된 방법은 전체적인 처리과정을 자동적으로 수행 가능하였으며 배경 및 객체의 영역에서 효율적인 복원 및 분할을 수행할 수 있었다. A new approach is proposed for restoration of corrupted regions and segmentation in natural text images. The challenge is to fill in the corrupted regions on the basis of color feature analysis by second order symmetric stick tensor. It is show how feature analysis can benefit from analyzing features using tensor voting with chromatic and achromatic components. The proposed method is applied to text images corrupted by manifold types of various noises. Firstly, we decompose an image into chromatic and achromatic components to analyze images. Secondly, selected feature vectors are analyzed by second-order symmetric stick tensor. And tensors are redefined by voting information with neighbor voters, while restore the corrupted regions. Lastly, mode estimation and segmentation are performed by adaptive mean shift and separated clustering method respectively. This approach is automatically done, thereby allowing to easily fill-in corrupted regions containing completely different structures and surrounding backgrounds. Applications of proposed method include the restoration of damaged text images; removal of superimposed noises or streaks. We so can see that proposed approach is efficient and robust in terms of restoring and segmenting text images corrupted.

        GM-NHMM 기반 토양함수 모의결과를 이용한 합성가뭄지수 개발

        가뭄평가 시 단일 수문인자를 활용하여 가뭄지수를 산정하고 가뭄의 출현, 심도 및 지속기간 등을 평가하는 것이 일반적이다. 하지만 가뭄은 여러 요인이 복합적인 연관성을 가지며 나타나는 현상이므로 단일인자로 가뭄을 평가하는 경우 불확실성 및 한계가 존재한다. 이에 따라 다양한 수문기상 특성을 고려할 수 있는 가뭄지수의 개발이 지속적으로 요구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 강우량 및 토양수분을 이용하여 가뭄을 평가하고자 은닉 마코프 모형(Hidden Markov chain Model)기반의 토양수분 모의기법을 통해 과거(1973-2014년) 토양의 수분함량을 모의하였으며, Copula 함수를 활용하여 강우량과 토양수분을 동시에 고려한 합성가뭄지수를 산정하였다. 본 연구에서 제안된 토양수분산정 모델은 다중 회귀 모형의 모의결과와 비교를 통해 모델의 적합성을 검증하였으며, 가뭄의 지속기간과 심도를 고려하여 이변량 빈도해석을 수행하였다. 이변량 빈도해석결과 2015년 전라북도 지역에 발생하였던 가뭄은 약 20년의 재현기간을 갖는 것으로 분석되었다. The most drought assessments are based on a drought index, which depends on univariate variables such as precipitation and soil moisture. However, there is a limitation in representing the drought conditions with single variables due to their complexity. It has been acknowledged that a multivariate drought index can more effectively describe the complex drought state. In this context, this study propose a Copula-based drought index that can jointly consider precipitation and soil moisture. Unlike precipitation data, long-term soil moisture data is not readily available so that this study utilized a Gaussian Mixture Non-Homogeneous Hidden Markov chain Model (GM-NHMM) model to simulate the soil moisture using the observed precipitation and temperature ranging from 1973 to 2014. The GM-NHMM model showed a better performance in terms of reproducing key statistics of soil moisture, compared to a multiple regression model. Finally, a bivariate frequency analysis was performed for the drought duration and severity, and it was confirmed that the recent droughts over Jeollabuk-do in 2015 have a 20-year return period.

Rather than setting the post site of one body implant to a horizontal cross-section, it is advantageous to set it to a longitudinal cross-section, for interdental embrasure formation. When using an internal bone level implant, rather than using a two-piece abutment, using a one-piece abutment can more effectively secure space for interdental embrasure.

        요양병원 간호사의 전문직 자아개념과 직무만족

        Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between professional self-concept and job satisfaction of nurses working in long-term care hospitals and to consider strategies to improve these factors. Methods: Data were collected using structured questionnaires given to 135 nurses working at six long-term care hospitals in C City. The data were analyzed with SPSS 23.0 by descriptive statistics, Cronbach's α, t-test, one-way ANOVA, a Scheffé test, and with Pearson's correlation coefficient. Results: The average score for professional self-concept was 2.78 points (out of 4 points), and the average score for job satisfaction was 3.11 points (out of 5 points). Significant differences were found for professional self-concept according to age, marriage status, total work experience, number of patients per nurse, and position, while job satisfaction showed significant differences depending on age and the number of patients in the ward. Professional self-concept and job satisfaction showed a significant positive correlation (r=.46, p<.001). Conclusion: In long-term care hospitals, it is necessary to provide education programs about nursing practice, communication, and leadership to enhance the professional self-concept of nurses. With regard to job satisfaction for nurses, it is imperative to improve the work environment of long-term care hospitals.
