한국 재벌기업집단 지배가족의 경영참여와 내부자본시장을 활용한 과잉투자: 지배가족 유형에 따른 조절효과 검증

본 연구에서는 한국의 재벌기업집단을 대상으로 지배가족의 경영참여가 내부자본시장을 활용한 과잉투자 문제에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 또한 지배가족의 유형에 따라 이러한 영향관계가 달라지는지 확인하였다. 분석기간은 공정거래위원회의 대규모기업집단 지정 기준이 변경된 2002년부터 2022년까지이다. 분석방법으로는 패널토빗회귀분석법을 사용하였다.실증분석 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 한국 재벌기업집단에서 내부자본시장이 존재하는 경우 기업의 과잉투자 유인이 증가한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 그렇지만 기업집단의 총수가 직접 경영에 참여하는 경우에는 내부자본시장을 활용한 과잉투자문제가 감소된다는 것을 확인하였다. 기업집단 내 특정기업에서 과잉투자와 같은 비효율적인 의사결정이 이루어지는 경우 동일 기업집단에 속한 다른 계열사에게도 부정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있으므로 총수는 기업집단 전체의 성과를 고려하여 자신이 직접 경영에 참여하고 있는 기업에 대해 내부자본시장을 활용한 과잉투자문제가 억제되도록 영향력을 행사하는 것으로 이해할 수 있었다.반면 총수 외의 지배가족이 경영에 참여하는 경우에는 지배가족이 내부자본시장을 활용한 과잉투자문제를 조절한다는 증거는 발견할 수 없었다. 총수 외의 지배가족의 경우 기업집단 내 계열사들이 연관되어 형성되는 내부자본시장을 활용하는 의사결정을 하기에는 총수와 달리 그 영향력이 제한되고, 기업집단 전체의 성과보다는 자신이 직접 경영에 참여하는 기업의 성과에 초점을 맞추는 경향이 있기 때문으로 이해되었다. This study investigates the ruling family management participation and internal capital market’s overinvestment in Korean Chaebol business groups using panel data on total 3,902 Korean listed firms. The analysis period was from 2002 to 2022. The results of the empirical analysis are summarized as follows. It was confirmed that the internal capital market acts as an incentive for overinvestment in the Korean chaebol business group. However, it was found that when the head of business groups participated in management, the problem of overinvestment using the internal capital market decreased. These results could be understood that inefficient decision-making, such as overinvestment in a particular company, could negatively affect other affiliates belonging to the same business group, resulting in the head of business groups limiting the incentives of such overinvestment. On the other hand, the analysis was conducted by dividing it into management participation of the entire ruling family and participation in management of the ruling family excluding the head of the business group, but the moderating effect on the problem of overinvestment using the internal capital market could not be confirmed. The ownership and control of the Korean chaebol business group were concentrated on the head of the business group, so it could be understood that the controlling family other than the head could not exert a significant influence on the entire business group.

대주주 기관투자자는 기업투자에 영향을 미치는가?

본 연구에서는 대주주 기관투자자(institutional blockholders)가 기업투자에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 분석기간은 2002년부터 2021년까지이다. 표본은 한국거래소 유가증권시장과 코스닥시장에 상장된 30,705개(연도-기업) 기업을 사용하였다. 분석을 위해 횡단면 자료를 시간적으로 연결한 불균형 패널자료를 형성하고, 패널자료회귀분석법을사용하여 분석하였다. 실증분석결과는 다음과 같다. 대주주 기관투자자의 지분율과 기업투자 간에는 역U자형 비선형관계를 갖는다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 대주주 기관투자자의 지분율이 0∼11.52% 구간에서는 기업투자에 정(+)의 영향을미치고, 11.52%를 초과하면 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 대주주 기관투자자의 지분율이 일정 수준보다 낮을 때에는 경영감시 유인이 크게 작동하여 과소투자 문제를 완화시키고, 기업가치 증대를 가져올 수 있는 기업투자를확대시키고자 하는 유인이 큰 것으로 이해할 수 있었다. 그렇지만 대주주 기관투자자가 일정 수준 이상으로 지분율을보유하게 되는 경우에는 기업에 대한 영향력이 증가하여 과잉투자문제를 완화시키거나, 대주주 기관투자자의 사적 이익추구 유인을 증가시켜 기업투자를 감소시키는 것으로 이해할 수 있었다. 이와 같이 대주주 기관투자자의 지분율과 기업투자 간에 역U자형 비선형관계는 재벌기업 보다 비재벌기업의 특성이 강하게 작용하기 때문인 것으로 이해되었다.

The schedulability of a set of independent periodic tasks on homogeneous multiprocessor systems is analyzed. Using real-time fixed priority preemptive scheduling method for tasks and assuming there is no task migration between processors, where task priorities are assigned by the Rate Monotonic policy, the scheduling problem reduces to assigning that a First Fit scheduling algorithm can be used to achieve such lower bound.

새로운 실시간 중첩 트랜잭션 모델에 관한 연구

In this paper we present a new model based upon the concept of subtransactions in real-time transaction systems. The nested transaction model originally proposed by J. Moss is extended for real-time uniprocessor transaction systems by adding explicit timing constraints. Based upon the model, an integrated concurrency control and scheduling algorithm is developed, that not only guarantees timing constraints of a set of real-time transactions but also maintains consistency of the database. The algorithm is based on the priority ceiling protocol of Sha et al. We prove that the Real-Time Nested Priority Ceiling Protocol prevents unbounded blocking and deadlock, and maintains the serializability of a set of real-time transactions. We use the upper bound on the duration that a transaction can be blocked to show that it is possible to analyze the schedulability of a transaction set using rate-monotonic priority assignment. This work is viewed as a first step toward multiprocessor/distributed real-time nested transaction systems.

ActiveX를 활용한 웹 기반 In/Outbound CTI 모듈 설계 및 구현에 관한 연구

The popularity of Internet has boosted the economy in recent years, especially the venture industries including SOHO(Small Office Home Office) businesses. Accordingly, CTI(Computer Telephony Integration), which is simultaneously utilizing PSTN and Broadband, has proven its effectiveness in Call Centers, UMS, Escorted Browing in internet shopping mall and eCRM. Especially, as a application field of the CTI, the web-based CRM which integrates the database technologies into ActiveX technique on the internet requires to be more efficient for the management of incoming and outgoing calls as well as normal flow of call controls. In this study, we has designed and implemented a small-scale CTI sub-system, a management of student-teacher interaction system, which enhances the web-based user interface for Automated Real-Time Inbound and Outbound call Monitoring. Such system is capable of utilizing the current CTI and ActiveX technologies more cost-effectively and adapt to the open environments more easily.

IP Telephony 및 멀티미디어 데이터베이스 응용 필수인 H.323 Protocol 에 관한 기본 개념 및 구성에 관한 연구

The basic concept and design issues of H.323 Protocol stack, which is the essential modules for IP telephony and emerging multimedia database applications, are reviewed. As for a practical solutions for buiding such areas, the H.323 gatekeeper, which contains an embedded H.323 stack are proposed in this study. These could be the core software building blocks which which H.323 application developers to create H.323-compliant hardware products and multimedia/real-time database applications.

안전하고 효율적인 온라인 상점 설계 및 구축에 관한 연구

This study suggests a design and implementation to build a secure electronic conlmerce using IIS5.0. The suggested method provides more secure and convenient environment for the users by applying the best known transaction security protocol and introducing the several functions such as click-on purchasing, shopping cart and automated ordering process. In addition, it provides the administrator easilyand efficiently to monitor the ordinary process of internet shopping mall operations. It is demonstrated the new system implemented using IIS5.0 is faster and more reliable than that with IIS4.0.

CTI Sub-System을 위한 자동화된 실시간 콜 모니터링용 사용자 인터페이스 향상에 관한 연구

In this study, we has designed and implemented a small-scale CTI suh-system which enhances the user interface for Automated Real-Time Call Monitoring. Such system is capable of utilizing the CO and extension lines more cost-effectively and adapt to the operating environments more easily.
