죄인에서 명현으로: 김식의 ‘망명’을 해명하는 글쓰기의 전략과 복권운동과의 관계

The repute of Kim Shik(김식, 金湜,1482∼1520) had fluctuated dramatically through and after his last days. As a prominent figure of Jo Gwang-jo's party, he was one of the main targets of the Purge of 1519. After his abscondence and suicide, he was blamed as the 'disgrace' of Gimyo group. Inheritors of the group sought strategies to defend his abscondence, as their repute was gravely related to those of their ancestors. This study focuses on the defending strategies and their relations to later reinstatement of Kim Shik. It discusses how the abscondence impacted and what debates has made after his decease. Discussion on the relation between writings on him in later generations and the movement for his reinstatement follows the examination of defending strategies found in memory-making writings on him.
Mobile Oriented Future Internet (MOFI): Architectural Design and Implementations

With the recent growth in smartphone services, the “mobile” environment has become a key factor to consider in the design of the future Internet. In this paper, we propose Mobile-Oriented Future Internet (MOFI), which is a new architecture for the future Internet for mobile-oriented environments. The MOFI architecture is designed with three functional features: global identifier and local locator in the identifier-locator separation, query-first data delivery for route optimization, and distributed control of identifier-locator mapping. The proposed architecture and functional operations are implemented and tested using the Linux platform. From the experiment results, we see that the MOFI architecture performs better than the existing identifier-locator separation schemes, such as Proxy Mobile IP and Host Identity Protocol, in terms of data throughout, mapping control overhead, and handover delay.
알랭 바디우의 비미학적 관점에서 본 농당스 연구 -제롬 벨의 작품 「저자가 부여한 이름, Nom Donneˊ par L’Auteur」을 중심으로-

The purpose of this study is to investigate the aesthetic significance of non-danse and to suggest the possibility of expanding the scope of dance. We analyze Jérôme Bel’s Nom Donné par L’Auteur based on Alain Badiou’s theory of inesthetics. In the process of analysis, this study intends to reconsider the perception of ‘what dance is’. As a result of interpreting Jérôme Bel’s work into ‘the six principles of dance’ suggested by Badiou in his essay “Dance as a Metaphor of Thought”, it is found that non-danse, a form of experimental art, provided artistic significance suitable for the new era. As such, when the ontological significance and characteristics of dance are discussed in various ways from the perspective of a new aesthetic transformation, the extension of dance art will be expanded and diversified, and its value will be rediscovered.
서양 예수회 선교사가 청나라 궁정화가가 된 과정에 관한 선교학적 고찰 - 주세페 카스틸리오네(Giuseppe Castiglione)를 중심으로 -

This paper deals with historical cultural mission case by looking into the Jesuits’ art theological background and the dispatch process of the European Jesuits to the Qing court as court painters. This paper specifically focuses on the life of Giuseppe Castiglione who was an Italian Jesuit painter in the 17th and 18th century and was sent to Qing as a Qing court painter for about fifty years under the rule of three Emperors. His life and artwork need to be approached both from European and Chinese contexts. In European context, this paper explores his growing background, Jesuits’ art theology and art mission strategies during his period and his dispatch process to Qing court. In Chinese context, the paper looks into Qing Emperors’ favor of the western culture and Qing Emperors and court’s interactions with western Jesuit court painters who worked under the limited and restricted Qing court. These two contexts reveal that Jesuits missionaries made great efforts to understand and adopt the Qing courts’ manner and culture, while trying to show God’s presence both in all aspects of their life and artworks through mutual interactions with the Qing emperor and the Chinese people. Although Jesuits’ mission efforts in Qing court can be viewed as not so successful from the narrow perspective of conversions’ rate, their cultural mission can be evaluated positively in that they made great efforts in understanding the culture of the mission fields and communicating mutually with people in that field based on their art theology. This case provides opportunity to reflect critically on Korean protestants’ cultural mission strategies which tend to implant the Korean cultural Christianity overseas. 이 글은 유럽의 예수회가 청나라에 선교사를 파송하여 궁정화가로서 활동하게 한 예수회의 예술 신학적 배경과 그 과정을 연구함으로서 문화선교의 역사적인 예를 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 17-18 세기에 이태리 화가로서 청나라에 가서 세 황제 아래서 50여 년간 궁정화가로서 활동했던 주세페 카스틸리오네(Giuseppe Castiglione, 1688-1766)의 삶과 예술을 유럽적 맥락과 중국적 맥락에서 고찰하였다. 먼저 유럽적 환경에서의 성장배경과 당시 예수회의 예술신학적인 배경과 예수회 평수사로서의 훈련과정과 청나라에 보내지는 과정을 살펴보았다. 그 다음으로 청나라 황제의 서양문물에 대한 관심을 가지는 과정을 알아보고 중국적인 문맥에서 청나라의 황제와 궁정이 서양에서 온 화가들을 어떻게 받아들이고 궁정화가로서 고용하여 이들이 어떤 제약된 환경에서 활동했는지를 살펴보았다. 이 과정 속에서 복음을 전하는 당시 예수회 선교사들의 태도가 주도적이고 일방적이기 보다는 오히려 청궁정의 예술과 문화를 이해하려 노력하면서 황제와 중국인들과 서로 소통하려 노력을 기울였는지 살펴본다. 또한 선교사들의 삶과 예술 활동을 통해 어떻게 만물 안에 계시는 하나님의 모습을 청나라 사람들에게 보여주려고 노력 했는지를 추적하였다. 이들의 선교적 노력은 비록 중국인들에게 복음을 직접 전하고 개종자를 많이 늘리는 측면에서는 ‘실패한 선교’라고 하겠으나, 예수회의 예술신학을 가지고 전문적인 예술인으로서 선교지에 가서 예술을 매개체로 혹은 접촉점으로 하여 선교지의 문화와 예술을 이해하려 노력하는 가운데 중국인들과 상호작용하고 소통하려 했던 역사적 실례는 오늘날 개신교가 선교본국의 문화를 일방적으로 전하고 있는 문화선교 방식을 반성하고 돌아보는데 많은 점을 시사해 주리라고 본다.
