Vanadium 을 첨가한 고장력강의 기계적 성질에 관한 연구

본 실험은 Vanadium의 첨가량과 소려온도의 변화에 따른 저탄소 Vanadium강의 기계적 성질의 변화를 조사한 것이다. Vanadium첨가량은 0∼0.16%까지 변화시켜 보았으며, 그 결과 0.106%까지는 첨가량이 증가할수록 경도, 인장강도, 항복강도, 내마멸성 등이 개선되였으나 0.16%에서는 기계적 성질이 더 이상 개선되지 않았다. 또한 소려온도는 500℃, 600℃, 700℃로 변화시켰으며, 기계적 성질은 600℃에서 가장 좋았다. 소입 및 소려된 Vanadium강에서의 Vanadium 탄화물의 석출은 전위 및 폐라이트 기지 내에 불규칙하게 분포되어 있었으며 기계적 성질의 개선은 이들 탄화물에 의한 입자의 미세화 및 전위의 고착, 전위 이동의 방해 등에 기인되는 것으로 보여진다. Effect of vanadium contents and tempering temperature on the mechanical properties of low carbon vanadium steel was studied with V content ranging from zero to 0.16% and tempering temperature of 500℃, 600℃ and 700℃. As the results, hardness, tensile strength, yield strength and wear resistance were increased with the increase of vanadium content and the maximum value was shown when 0.106% of vanadium was added and tempered at 600℃ for 1 hr. Vanadium carbides were dispersed in ferrite and randomly precipitated at dislocation sites. The improvement of the mechamical properties was interpreted in terms of grain refinement and locking of dislocations due to vanadium carbides.

An Empirical Study on Entry Mode of Korean Internet Firms

This study is to test the determinants of entry mode for entering overseas markets based on 92 Korean international IT firms. After reviewing previous studies, company's characters, industry's characters, and market environmental factors are considered as research model. The study framework includes eight variables: firm's size, international business experience, service inseparability, asset specificity, cultural distance, market growth, country risk, and investment incentive policy. Entry modes are divided into export and foreign direct investment. The researcher concludes that the great international business experience, the high service inseparability and the high asset specificity are related to the entry mode of foreign direct investment, and high country risk is related to the export entry mode. However the firm's size, the cultural distance, the market growth, and the investment incentive policy are statistically insignificant in relation to entry mode.

가중함수의 주파수 영역 해석에 따른 $H_\infty$ 최적 제어기 구성

본 연구는 가중함수의 주파수 영역 해석에 의한 H∞ 최적 제어기를 설계하고 이를 대상 시스템에 적용하여 해석하였다. 이는 가중함수와 개 루프 전달함수에서 견실성을 만족하는 영역과 매개변수 γ의 최적 값이 존재하는 영역을 도시하고 H∞ 최적 제어기를 구성하기 위한 알고리즘을 간략화 시킬 수 있다. 또한 제안된 방법에 의해 설계된 제어기는 플랜트 불확실성의 변화에도 불구하고 어떠한 동작점에서도 원하는 사양과 성능을 만족하였다. This study presents an H$_{\infty}$ optimal controller synthesis by the frequency domain analysis of weighting function. The main purpose of our study is to visualize weighting function domains and open loop transfer function domains that satisfy robustness and performance. Also we aim to simplify the iterative algorithm for H$\infty$ optimal controller synthesis. We report that the designed regulator by the proposed method in this paper satisfies the desired specifications and performance in spite of the plant uncertainty variation at any operating point.

JPEG의 부호화 기법에서 DCT의 단점인 블록효과를 제거하기 위해 웨이브릿 변환을 사용하였다. 기존의 JPEG과 호환성 유지하기 위하여, JPEG 부호화 기법과 동일한 기법을 사용할 수 있는 부호화기를 제안한다. 이를 위하여 웨이브릿 변환영역에서 각 대역의 신호를 8×8로 재구성하였고, 각 대역의 에러분석과 인간 시각특성을 고려하여 양자화 가중치를 구하여 양자화 하였다. 실험을 통하여 웨이브릿을 사용한 제안한 기법이 기존의 JPEG 보다 (Peak Signal to Noise Ratio), WMSE(Weighted Mean Square Error) 척도에서 다소 우수함을 보였다. WT(Wavelet Transform) is used to avoid blocking effect that is the disadvantage of JPEG using DCT(Discrete Cosine Transform). Because the proposed coding scheme is the same as JPEG, the proposed algorithm is compatible with that of JPEG. To achieve the goal, WT'ed image is reconstructed into 8$\times$8 coding block. Each coding block is quantized with the proposed weighting matrix that is derived from human visual characteristic and error analysis in WT'ed domain. By experiments, the proposed algorithm is superior to JPEG, in terms of PSNR(Peak Signal to Noise Ratio) and WMSE(Weighted Mean Square Error).

To find out the effect of transplanting time on the autonomic characters, yield of cured leaves and content of polyphenols in burley tobacco, three transplanting time were evaluated. The results obtained are as follows. Low temperature which was caused damage earliest stage of tobacco in early transplanting could escape by vinyl mulching and other treatment. 2. The major polyphenols in leaves were chlorogenic acid and rutin, small amount of scopolin and quercetin were also detected. 3. Chlorogenic acid decreased during curing. 4. Polyphenols content was not influenced by transplanting time.

Charles Dickens의 "A Tale of Two Cities"의 分析

Charles Dickens, unlike th other great story-tellers, was not really a bookish man. He could read judiciously, and write charmingly; but there was nothing of the scholar in him. He began life as a newspaper reporter and he remained a journalist throughout a great part of his life. He understood the life of workers, the clerks, the clerks, the poor, and even the criminal classes. He painted their lives in his books, and described it remarkably well in way no else had done before him. Especially he was a painter of middle class life. It can be said that no more healthy, joyous, good moral books, were ever contributed to the literature of fiction than the novels of Charles Dickens. His historical novel, A Tale of Two Cities, appears to us the only one of all the novels that could really fill us with a sudden and passionate admiration for something noble and good. The story is beautiful and horrible as well; the man who gives up his own life in order to save that of his beloved woman's husband is condemned to the guillotine. He wrote stories of real life, in which the truth is always presented even though in a strange, exaggerated, and whimsical way of his sort. A Tale of Two Cities is best read as a notable exception, a fascinating sport in Dickens's career, than as a novel like the others which unfortunately lacks their merits;. Finally, as to his style as a novelist, I certainly think that he was obviously a genius.

지상 신호에 의해 주어진 열차 제어 시스템이 열차속도의 증가 및 안전성의 향상을 위해 차상 신호로 변화됨에 따라 안전도 및 신뢰도의 개발이 더욱 중요하게 취급됨으로서 실시간 열차 제어를 필요로 한다. 그 결과, 궤도회로는 첨단 기술의 접목이 점점 더 어려워짐에 따라 열차의 폐색 구간 점유 및 선로 파손 검출 등의 역할로 주 기능이 분리되고 있으며, 차상신호를 사용한 기존선의 경우에는 선로 파손의 검출이 일부구간에만 궤도회로를 사용하여 실행될 전망이다. 본 논고에서는 이와 같은 열차 제어 시스템의 변환 과정에 따라 주어진 유럽의 차상 신호 시스템 개발 동향에 대해 중점적으로 취급한다.(중략)
