        This paper presents an information collection and a novel inference technique for evaluation of power system operation state. In most developing countries, power demands are steadily increasing and consequently power systems are becoming larger and more complicated. In addition, power system deregulations further complicate the power system operational tasks, which are resulted in prevailing wide area blackouts worldwide. In this paper, we proposed an effective information collection and operating state evaluation methods using a knowledge-based system. The RTS-79 24 bus system is used as a test system. The power system model is composed with JESS templates and included in the knowledge-base as a part of fixed facts. Dynamic informations are collected from various analysis results and actual operational data. Inferences are performed with rules expressed with terms in different abstraction levels. Future research will be concentrated on intelligent contingency selections for preventing wide area blackouts.

      • 3상 PWM 인버터의 Deadtime 해석 및 보상

        The deadtime of the inverter are to reduce the amplitude of fundamental frequency component, to generate low harmonics and to make the error of load power angle. And the factors to induce the deadtime are directions of load current, load power angle, modulation index, modulation frequency, and etc. The methods to reduce the deadtime effects are reference modification method to apply the sinusoidal PWM and logical combination method to apply the memory-based PWM. In the methods, the current feedback is necessary. In this thesis, to minimize the deadtime effects of 3 phase inverter, the compensation method to design the gating logic circuit is suggested and implemented. The results showed the reduced magnitude of the 5th, 7th and higher harmonics and the increased output average voltage than that of the traditional compensation methods.

        It has been known that the value of soil resistance drops when a high impulse curennt is injected into a grounding electrode. In this paper, impulse generator is used to investigate the dry soil and wet soil characteristics in cylinderical test cell. The impulse resistances and breakdown characteristics were discussed based on its voltage and current traces. As a result, sand resistances are decreased with increasing the applied currents. It was thought that a decrease in resistance of dry sand with increasing current is due to both thermal and ionization processes. On the other hand, in case there is no water presence in the soil, the reduction in resistance as the currents are of dry sand increased is mainly due to the ionization process.

        마이크로 임플랜트를 이용한 II급 2류 과개교합 환자의 치험례

        The purpose of this case report was to describe the considerations in orthodontic treatment of a patient with skeletal Class II division 2 deep bite malocclusion. A 20-year-old female presented with chief complaints of deep bite and crowding. Facial clinical examination showed deep mentolabial sulcus, gummy smile, lip line canting (right side down), and straight profile. Intraorally, her dentition exhibited a deep bite including linguoversion of the maxillary anterior teeth. After extraction of the maxillary second premolars, microimplants were placed in the interradicular space between the maxillary central incisors. And microimplant anchorage was used to apply intrusive force to the maxillary incisors and retraction force through long hooks that were placed between lateral incisors and canines. As a result of orthodontic treatment using microimplants, labial crown tipping and palatal root torque of the maxillary incisors were obtained. Also, deep bite and anterior crowding were corrected, and facial profile was improved. Consequently, absolute microimplant anchorage makes an orthodontic force system simple and provides an effective intrusion of the maxillary incisors with minimizing the side effects such as unwanted round tripping of the teeth in the treatment of skeletal Class II division 2 malocclusion.

      • 일본 사회기반시설 분야 iconstruction BIM 의무화의 현재 현황과 미래 계획

        2011년 3월11일 동일본 대 지진이 발생한 후 피해복구 사업에서 일부 회사들이 피해복구 프로젝트에 3D 모델링 기술 들을 사용하기 시작 하였고 이러한 프로젝트들이 다른 프로젝트에 비해 생산성이나 커뮤니케이션 용도로 효율성이 높다는 것을 일본의 국토교통성은 체험하였다. 이에 2012년도에 9개의 각 현에 최소 한 개 이상의 BIM기술을 활용한 프로젝 트를 수행하도록 하였고 2013년도에는 42개로 확장해서 시범프로젝트를 수행하였다. 2015년 일본의 국토부는 인프라 사업을 수행하는 기업들이 효율성을 높이고 비용을 줄이며 노동량 부족을 해결하기 위해 드론 및 자동굴삭기와 같은 최첨단 기술을 사용할 것을 요구한i Construction 을 발표하였는데, 회계연도 2016년 까지 공공 발주 되는 2조 5000억엔 중 20%이상을 이러한 최첨단 기술을 도입할 계획이라고 발표하였다. 또한, 2016년부터 3억엔(약 30억원)이상의 프로젝트에 CIM을 의무화 하였으며 이러한 요구조건 들을2020년도 까지 확장할 계획이라고 발표하였다. 이번 연구에서는 이러한 일본의 CIM프로젝트가 도입 하게 된 배경과 함께 현재 CIM상황 그리고 나아가서는 미래 CIM프로젝트 확장 방안에 대한 MLIT의 로드맵에 대해서 알아보고자 한다. There was great east Japan earthquake at 11st March 2011 and some of companies were using 3D modeling technology to recover project. Most projects adopted new technology were done successful, so MLIT decided to order to every prefecture taking pilot projects at 2012 and extending 42 pilot project at 2013. Japan’s Infrastructure Ministry announced i construction, requiring companies handling public works projects to use such cutting-edge technology as drones and automated excavators, aiming to improve efficiency, cut costs and tackle a looming labor shortage, CIM Mandate, companies constructing over $3M public works projects with cut and fill to use cutting-edge technology such as drones and automated excavators. Also,this requirement will extend to all projects. Companies will be asked to use advanced technology throughout process from surveying, design, construction to inspection. In this study, CIM mandate and i construction in Japan will research and how MLIT will extend CIM mandate.
